My rating 4.2The poetry collection "Another Story" by themarsbeing is, in my opinion, a rap album that you can compose the rhythms of music in your head while reading it. Which is normal because every poet sees all the misery, vanity of life, love, hate, hope, sadness, and anger of the place where he lives. Poets translate this into poetry, trying to fight with themselves and the world. This is the urban poetry of someone who lives in a city of millions, a city that eats people’s souls. Throughout the poetry collection, themes of survival in that world, pill addiction, domestic violence, drug addiction, school violence, fear of inner demons, nervousness and rage, failed love, hatred, inner weaknesses, and everything that surrounds it run through the entire poetry collection. These poems are a depiction of the world around the writer, obviously not too bright, but who can find meaning among concrete buildings, closed rooms and asphalt. Nature is the human environment. I honestly don’t know how old the writer is because he doesn’t have any data, he could be a teenager, but also an adult, but he sees the world around him. If you don’t like rap rhyme, swearing, and honesty, then this is not a collection of poetry for you. Although the writer, as can be seen from the pseudonym, comes from Mars, he sees the earthly world very well.

My favorite poem is "I am", and the best line " you always say to everyone shesmine. But you don’t say it with pride." Well, this collection speaks about depressions, suicide, and all the negative thoughts. Hence it wasn’t my kinda book. But as a poetry collection, it had some beautiful rhymes and lines. There were grievances, pain, sorrow, negativity in all the poems, which had deep meaning, someone who has been there would probably be better in comprehending the same. I wish the author good lu My favorite poem is "I am", and the best line " you always say to everyone shesmine. But you don’t say it with pride." 'Another Story' by themarsbeing awakes interest in the reader since the beginning, mostly due to the pen name that the writer has been using. To me it gave an idea of a person who doesn't belong here and as you start with the book, it is very well justified why is it so.I believe, a good poetry is one where you can feel the emotions of the poet. It's where you feel the poet is himself talking to you. As you read, the words start to direct a short & sweet movie in your own head. It's where you feel the poet is himself talking to you. As you read, the words start to direct a short & sweet movie in your own head. Well 'Another Story' does that for you! As you read the book, not only you feel the raw emotions that are put out really well, but you go through multiple movies while reading the poems. Even though you wouldn't have gone through the situations as mentioned in the book, you can totally feel it.The book has beautiful stories within and hence the title is so apt. Throughout the book, you've an urge to read more. It keeps you hooked. The author has put out the poems very well. The choice of words is amazing! The rhyming is perfect. ✨ Ironically, the poem with the theme 'Bad Poetry' is an amazing one. The poem has a line '𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦'. By the end of the book, one would say, Thank god the author has amazing skills to write.I liked most of the poems and few of the lines were relatable. The one I have mentioned here, is my favorite:𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘈𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘵 𝘢 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨So if you are ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions, then this is the book for you!

Another story is a collection of poems, that may seem like a personal scrapbook, focused on defining personal moments, like depression, thoughts about suicide, questioning one’s poetry skills etc. In the most radical style, most of the poems are able to highlight the sources of their inspiration, making the poems astonishingly engaging. Little dark for my taste but exemplary poetic skills.
