I have wanted to read this final book for such a long time (though, it wasn't that long) to see what will happen and how the story will be concluded. I am very happy to say the book did not disappoint. The book was fast-paced and longer than the first two books and for that, I was really grateful. I wanted more from the characters and their interactions. I read it as soon as I got it and flew through it. The story was very engaging and entertaining with something happening every other moment and you do not want to miss any of it. I got more of Ackley being Ackley which I was all here for. If you love the romantic aspect of the story, you will be happy to know that there were a lot of flirty sequences with Reid and Dexter. Some new romances to look out for possibly, a new character was introduced. I think overall the book was enjoyable and an engaging and entertaining read. I felt happy and did have a smile on my face with the conclusion, but if I have to pick my favorites of the 3 books, I would pick the first two. The story is short and so all the events take place within a relatively shorter time frame, but overall it was engaging and Jennifer Anne Davis does a great job of concluding the series. I felt some characters could have gotten their own POV to get more of the background and tell readers their story. Having said that this book is definitely something fantasy readers or new-to-fantasy readers can pick up, as it's great and amazing and such a quick read. I gave the book 4.5 -5 stars. I am so happy to read it and highly recommend checking it out if you are interested in political conflicts, political intrigue, and spies, secret organizations, low-key romance and arranged marriages, hate-to-love tropes. The book will be published on March 10th. Definitely check it out!!

Thank you Reign Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read an early copy of this amazing book! I am sad to see this series end but I am happy with how the final book played out. I would love to see the author revisit this world and show us how Axian fares after Dexter and Reid take reign. I believe they will make a great paring and ruler with the help of their new found ally. If you have not picked up this series you should! One of my all time favorites!

Wow!I'm sitting here with a smile on my face! Mrs Davis is AMAZING! This is definitely my second favorite series ever. Then, when I read Russek was involved it made me even happier she connected my all time favorite series to this one. I hope some how she makes a spin off series with him, Indiana Gytha and Owen. Maybe Dexter will die and Ackley will come in to swoop her up? 😄😄 The way things turned out was fantastic though. I never expected Anna to be so evil! I'm glad she got what was coming to her. Even a spin off with the new leader of the Knights would be amazing! Anything this talented woman writes you can count me in! The True Reign series, Reign of Secrets series and now Knights of the Realm series................all the best series I have ever read. Definitely 10 out of 5 stars 😉!

Decent love storyI'll be honest- I would have stopped at book 2 of not for the love story between Dexter & Reid. otherwise, this author needs to calm down. Too many twists & turns and far too many characters! There are about 4 conspiracy plots, 5 million people in love with one person but married to someone else, way too many royals, I lost count of the armies & who is in charge of whom. I get it. Then at the end, the story read like 25 separate sentences with no continuity. I felt like this was written by a teenager who had a great idea & tried spit it all out in one day! The storyline could have been great but you just tried to do too much. And sadly, I have no interest in other stories because I fear this is a common theme by this author😔

This book is an epic conclusion to the series! I was already captivated in chapter 1 which picks right up from the cliffhanger at the end of book 2. I absolutely love this series. Great character development. Action and adventure. Love. Really... what more could I ask for! Jennifer Anne Davis has done it again! I highly recommend this book series! The kingdom is at war. Who is on which side? Who is the rightful king? People who are supposed to be dead suddenly show up much alive? Is nothing as it is supposed to be? Exciting conclusion to the Knights of the Realm series.

Rating: 2.5Ok. I loved book 1 and book 2. However, this book has left me disappointed - it is not bad but just not good enough !Firstly, the pacing is slower and the story is somewhat stagnant for the most part. There is action and intrigue yes but it somehow misses that fevered excitement of the previous books. Secondly, the overall plot is weak once it comes into play and has plenty of convenient coincidences like Owens timely capture/appearance (how did Seb grab him and bring him Rating: 2.5Ok. There is action and intrigue yes but it somehow misses that fevered excitement of the previous books. Secondly, the overall plot is weak once it comes into play and has plenty of convenient coincidences like Owen’s timely capture/appearance (how did Seb grab him and bring him undetected?), the Idina and Owen pairing (obvious a mile away), immediate acceptance of Owen, and all that rigmarole about Anna. Then there are also the plot holes and open ends like where did Henrik end up, what was the hype about the minerals, Reid handling the final encounter by herself (which went against everyone else’s character), the grandparents and their distance, why did Harlow warn Reid, and the rushed Harlow-Anna play in the end.But the main reason why I didn’t enjoy and dig this book was how Ackley’s story arc was developed. Ackley by far is the best character of the series and treating him so shabbily with such a forced romantic story arc was just not good at all. I wish he’d retained his original brother-sister feelings and ended up with Gytha with a Reid-free conscience. I knew it from the moment that Reid got kidnapped that Ackley would die for Dexter for Reid’s sake and that just ruined the book for me big time ! Also, how Reid handled Ackley’s feelings and their final meeting left so much to be desired - with all their history together, it was just not cool ! Lastly, I hated how the author strung me, the reader, along - first, with the slow romance of Reid and Dexter even after marriage with those mixed signals from Ackley as if there was some hope of Reid and Ackley. It didn’t help that Dexter is a caricature of himself in this book and pretty wooden. I just didn’t connect to him nor liked him ! Secondly, the author also strung me along with the slow story pacing and then rushing everything in the final chapters.Overall, it’s a fair ending to the series but I’m not happy especially with what happened with Ackley and that soured the experience for me.

I'm just going to rate this trilogy all together because simply put there was nothing impressive about any of the books. I have read other series by this author and enjoyed them but this one was not for me. It had a very immature feel to it in each of the 3 books. Our lead female acts like shes 12 years old. She continually blushes and gets embarrassed anytime sex is so much as mentioned. So here is my breakdown of the 3 books:Book 1 was free at least when I got it, Id rate this one a 3 star. I'm going to rate that one a 1.5 star. I also paid $4.99 for this one. So long review cut short...………….the characters all felt overly juvenile to me. I paid $10 to read this trilogy and would not recommend others do the same. After completing this trilogy I was mostly irritated with myself for reading all 3 of these books and wasting my time and money. Do check out some of this writers other work though. Just not this particular series.

I enjoyed this, but I didn't love it like I did the previous two books. I know other readers didn't like how the romance played out, preferring another character for Reid, but I was happy with that portion of the story. I thought she picked the right fella for her, and for the big picture of the story. There are a few little nuances to this that I LOVED but won't share because they are spoilers. I enjoyed the choice of villains and how all of those pieces were sorted out, but overall the story didn't have a ton of suspense or "punch" for me in the early portions as it built toward the end. The ending was great, and I have high hopes for a spin off series with some characters who departed on an adventure of their own at the end.

The series began with an interesting plot and I loved where the story was going with the first two books. But I was disappointed by this third book. We find out that Dexter's father was alive! Then what was all that drama in the last book??? Reid's mother turned out to be a villain! Dexter's character became very uninteresting and had no important role other than standing next to Reid or flirting with her! Awesome conclusion to the series I waited patiently for this last book to be released today, and I finished reading it today lol. As I was reading, I got annoyed because I couldn't remember some of the characters. That didn't deter me though and finally everything feel into place. I loved reading the development of Reid and Dexter's relationship. I think the author tied everything together so nicely. The only exception for me was Ackley. I loved this series. Well actually I love all of Jennifers series. I love how she always has a strong female lead. I feel that it helps show that women can really do anything as long as we believe we can or at least try. This series is a definite must read. I felt like I could really connect with the characters and I hated that the series had to end because I loved the characters so much. I loved this series. I can't imagine having a mother that left you to take the control of a secret organization- a mother that seems to be focused on only one thing and is not a good person. This book has some conclusions that were good to come to a close. I am glad she was able to secure the people she loved and to take on the challenge of ruling the kingdom. I enjoyed this series.

This book needed much less Dexter and much more Ackley. Overall this book was a good, entertaining read but I feel like it was poorly paced and there was not enough description or elaboration for certain elements. Most of the time I feel books move too slowly, but this one moved too quickly at the expense of world building and emotional attachment to the characters.
