Brutally Awesome Prince! 4.5 stars. I really liked this one. It was sort of a cross between a Bully Romance and Crime/Mystery book. I always love when a romance has a great storyline aside from the romance. This one had a some crimes that were committed by a few different people, one was a complete mystery and the others were more secrets that the individuals kept and other people were trying to get to the bottom of them. The heroine is named Indi and she goes to live with her Grandmother after Brutally Awesome Prince! 4.5 stars. This one had a some crimes that were committed by a few different people, one was a complete mystery and the others were more secrets that the individuals kept and other people were trying to get to the bottom of them. The heroine is named Indi and she goes to live with her Grandmother after her Mother is raped and murdered. Her Father died five years previously of cancer. While out in the woods, a guy about her age chases her and basically assaults her after catching her trespassing on his property. When she goes to school the next day she finds that he attends the same school and he goes by his last name Briar because he doesn’t like his first name, which is Prince.Indi accuses Briar of assaulting her as soon as she sees him, but soon finds out he is someone not to be messed with at the school. her new friend Addy let’s her know that he may have raped her friend Jess, and possibly murdered her as well, though the official cause of death was suicide.Briar is staying away from women after what happened with Jess, but he felt an immediate attraction to Indi, so he is determined to bully her until she leaves school. He doesn’t trust himself with her. However he can’t seem to stay away, no matter how much his friend Marcus warns him about her. There are so many different twists and turns in this book, it seems to end up in a complex maze of connections. It is extremely thrilling and I couldn’t put it down. It was my first book from Logan Fox and I will be reading more. There was some definite heat between these two so I will give it 4 flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥 out of five.Blog|Goodreads|Facebook|Amazon|Twitter|BookBub

Were all animals. Some of us just hide it better than others.Brutal Prince by Logan Fox was originally part of the Noble Savages anthology. I read in that and HOLY CRAP, it is something else. Its dark. Its depraved. Theres a bit of a mystery. A romance that you dont want to love, but I promise that you will anyway. That said, its probably not going to be your cup of tea if you dont like dark and bully romance but if you do, you should definitely check it out. OMG. This was so freaking good!I think I started Brutal Prince around like 1opm last night and crushed it all before midnight. Totally forgot to mark it CR or even done on GR.. but I was so into this book. In it, you will meet Indi and Briar. From the very first moment that they meet, there's a little spark. Of course, things twist and turn after that.So many secrets are floating around them. Mostly Briar.. but hot damn - so much betrayal from close loved ones too. I honestly didn't even think I OMG. I honestly didn't even think I was going to get so much revealing shit in this book. Yet, I ate it all up. I loved all the torture throughout this and I was most definitely sitting on the edge of my seat until the very last page.Long story short, I am very happy with how things ended (for certain people). A lot happened in this book and I'm still in shock about some of it. I can't believe certain things went down the way they did. Not going to lie, I'm going to have to dive into another one of Logan's books because hot damn this was one was good.Dark, but so good.

Disgusted, is how I feel.Story starts with an almost rape, ends with a definite rape, however the author cushons it by a proposal while getting raped.I can't be the only one sickened by this shit.

Yes, please! I read this as part of the Noble Savages anthology (all bully romance reads). It was my first read from this author, but it won't be my last! I LOVE a good bully romance. I also love romantic suspense, and dark romance (to a degree- I'm not down with heroes causing non-consensual physical pain/abusing their heroine). This delivered! There were suspense elements added in, which separated it from more typical bully reads. In a GOOD way. As much as I love a bully read it is nice to Yes, please! As much as I love a bully read it is nice to stumble upon one that sets itself apart in some way. Unfortunately I guessed one of the twists relatively early, but only one of them. :)The chemistry between Briar and Indi was hot. I loved the slow burn of the evolution of the physical relationship. Well, really it was a slow burn of the emotional relationship as well. Either way, I'm here for it!Briar had the right combination of arrogance and swagger to make your panties fly from your body of their own volition. Lord, high school me would've been IN LOVE. Hopelessly. Incurably. There were so many extra elements to this story beyond the base of bullying. The tragedy that befell Indi that prompted her move. The mysterious event that took place at the party (and afterward) involving the Lavish Prep students prior to Indi's arrival. The side details such as Indi's mom's love of painting. Indi's odd relationship with her grandmother. Briar's absent father. These elements came together beautifully, forming a very satisfying and compelling story. I definitely recommend this for fans of bully reads. If you can't find it on its own (Amazon seems to only offer it in paperback) then look for it in the Noble Savages anthology!

She didn’t have to die at the hands of Marcus. He rapped and what it looked like he strangled her or choked her with a belt—poor girl. Bad enough, he killed Jessica too and raped her. Addison's best friend and Briar girlfriend at the time. What was messed up about Jessica was Briar and everybody, including his dad, thinking that he (Briar) was a rapist? But as I was reading this book. I was like Briar can’t be a rapist, for some reason I kept thinking that. But also mentioned how Marcus = Murder. Briar = rapist. But what I thought in my mind. & what came true in this book was everything lead to Marcus. He was the rapist and murder. It was something that had me like, “I think Marcus was the one who killed Indi's mom and raped/murder Jessica. Especially with Indi's mom... when they couldn’t find any fingerprints, I was like YEAH that had to be Marcus...I now remember what had me thinking it was him when he mentioned to Briar. That Indi looked familiar. A lot of things, Briar never took notice. But his dad took note of a lot of stuff that Briar didn’t. Heck, not even Indi or Addy, knew that something was up with Marcus. I felt something was wrong with Marcus. It took for Briar's dad to talk to him at Angels Fall, where I think 🤔 Jessica was killed at or something can’t remember. But his dad was the one to show Briar that looks son; your best friend is the devil and a bad seed. Then learning about him killing/ no learning that Marcus was the one that rapped Jessica then plan to do the same to Indi. I know it had hurt him and then had to be there with Indi and find a way to get Marcus from Indi. No Indi from Marcus. & getting rid of that gun. I was glad in the end that they ended Marcus and his (Marcus) dad Brandon got what he deserved too for all that he and his son put everybody through. Not only that, learning that Brandon had something to do with Natalie (both; Briar & Marcus) mom. Oh, that also a bad one, Briar, learning that Marcus was his brother. I had to wonder who is the oldest were they, twins. I can’t remember their ages. But I think they were in the same grade or one was behind each other since they all were in a class with one another. But in the end, every TRUTH came out, which was a good thing. Especially with what happened with Jessica, Indi (mom), not only them but Addy too. Poor, girl I wish she would’ve left with her family. But she wanted to stay like a fool that she was smh!Besides that, I didn’t want Marcus to die. I wanted him to rot and see what will happen to him in jail for what he did to those women/teens... but at least Briar got his wish. He murder (well Indie) killed Marcus, and the police didn’t have to get him (Marcus). Because both he and Indie did. I was glad because that boy was sick.

Lavish is nestled against the sinister peaks of Devil's Spine, near its sister town of Mallhaven. The picturesque town suffered from a stint of violent robberies last year, leaving the wealthy residents scrambling for security cameras.Indigo Virgo believes that love is for masochists. She used to do things like brush her hair, wear makeup, and dress nicely. She was a few months shy of her eighteenth birthday when her life was irrevocably altered. Having lost her mother to a violent home invasion, Indi is sent to Lavish in Fool's Gold County to live with a grandmother she doesn't know. Marigold is cold and rigid - and clearly not happy about her new charge. Alone and shifting from depression to anger and back again as she deals with her new reality, Indi clings to the one thing she has left of her mother - a valuable sapphire necklace given to her mother by her dad, just prior to his death from cancer five years ago.Prince Briar - arrogant, agressive, passionate, and impulsive - is Lavish Prep's best receiver. He pushes himself to excel in order to get his name in the paper and capture the attention of his mostly absent father. His mom died in an accident when he was five, so he practically lives alone in the sprawling Briar mansion. He and his best friend Marcus have one a other's backs, though. After his birthday party ten months ago, they agreed that one of them would always stay sober at parties, but for the most part Briar just avoids them - and girls - since everything that happened with Jessica. His life is on the line now and the rumors are pure torture. It is impossible for him to forget that he is a monster, so he no longer hides the animal inside. The whole town knows to be wary of him, so when he spots a trespasser on his property while out for his nightly jog, it hardly computes how someone would be stupid enough to venture onto his property. Because protects what is his. After a less than welcoming greeting from her grandmother, Indi takes a walk to clear her head but soon finds she has lost her trail. She had no idea that there was a monster in the woods. When she sees the monster at school the next morning, everything goes from bad to worse. Briar and Indi's tragic and twisted story pulls the reader into a cruel world, riveted with suspense, yet offers a bit of redemption and a very satisfying HEA. Indi's myriad of emotions following her mother's death leave her emotionally unstable, yet she maintains the strength to keep going on in spite of her grandmother's rejection and the bullying she endures. She channels her frustration into a quest for justice, but that isn't easily accomplished as the new girl in town. Briar struggles emotionally as well. He has suffered from loneliness for most of his life. More recently, he struggles to understand how he turned into an animal, and how to rein it in. Indi challenges his self-control and is therefore a threat, despite what he realizes he feels for her. Both Indi and Briar work through their struggles over the course of a suspenseful week while truths and revelations lead to them to a shocking conclusion.Briar and Indi's riveting story is a fantastic dark read about bullying and tragedy in a warped world filled with secrets and crime. The POV alternates between Briar and Indi. The book is very well-written. The plot is complex, intricately woven to maintain keen interest. The characters are very well-defined, including the cast of supporting characters. I rate this book five stars.I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Plot twist - not your typical high school bullyYou'll want to know. Did Briar do it or not? Does Addy catch him with some evidence? It's an interesting thing how the main characters tie in to one another. And then thing start to click. This is a story between Addy, Briar, Briar's friend, and Briar's new conquest. It's a rough beginning in the story for our main character when she has her initail meeting with Briar. Why does Briar become so fascinated with her? What's so special about her?

First in Noble Savages and had to read it again. Such an amazing well written story. Indi was spectacular, I loved everything about her. Briar was pretty awesome too. They had great a chemistry together. Marcus was a complete psycho. Super book was nice and dark, good tense scenes, the detention scene was hot (actually all the intimate scenes with just Indi and Briar were hot), good humor, emotional, and some good WTF moments.
