Ms. Best has given us another fun book in the series. Pepper and her zany aunts investigate the death of the widow of one of their previous tenants who was also murdered at the B&B. They suspect Brenna, the cat shifter, and the woman's daughter and granddaughter. Lucas has gone out of town with Pepper's parents so he is not any help. I am looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Witches' Cat is Book 7 in the Witches & Wine Cozy Paranormal Mystery Series. This is a stand alone book but you will have more enjoyment if you read the books in order. I LOVE PEPPER JASPER!!!!! Mysteries are revealed and there is a murder to solve at Mugwort Manor. There are some twists and turns I did not see coming. Witches' Cat is so well written with secrets revealed . I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting. Was so nice to be back with Pepper and friends!!!!

I enjoy Morgana Best books. They are entertaining. Witches’ Cat is part of a series. I don’t have any problem reading them out of order as everything does wrap up. In this book an unpleasant relative has died, bringing her just as unpleasant daughter and granddaughter home. Thoughts of an inheritance will often do that. Everyone thinks it was just her time but the aunts come across some interesting information and become convinced it was murder. The dead person was not a liked person and more than one person had a reason to wish her dead. There were plenty of suspects. I loved that and the twists, turns and discoveries that had me constantly changing my mind about who did it. It was a highly entertaining book, balanced well with the mystery and a good dose of humor. I recommend reading this book, as well as, the series. *I was given a digital copy for review consideration. I voluntarily reviewed and all opinions are my honest feelings after reading it.*

I liked it! These books are fun and quirky. I made the mistake of skipping a few books and go from having read 1 and 2 straight to 7. My mistake, I’m sometimes a little recalcitrant, and sometimes that pays off, sometimes it doesn’t. So I would advise you to not skip any of the books, because I think it’s more enjoyable to read them all. The secrets that were being revealed in this installment would have more meaning. I find this series about three vampire witches and their niece to be humorous and entertaining. Witches' Cat is no exception. I found myself thinking how much better they all had become at investigating murder suspects! Of course poor Pepper is often uninformed yet expected to do the brunt of the actual stealth work involved! The daughter and granddaughter of the dead woman were unintentionally hilarious showing off their greed and stupidity. However it would be hard not to enjoy both the subtle and forthright humor of the aunts. Each book is better than the previous one!But readers beware! You will be wanting wine, coffee, and cakes! Personally I can resist the Vegemite on toast!

If I hadn't already been waiting for a new book by Morgana, I would have been hooked near the beginning when the new sausage hound made his entrance! Pepper has these aunts who own a B&B, are older than dirt, are as funny as can be, and also happen to be witches. There was a murder recently, and now an unpleasant elder relative is also dead and the police think it's just old age but Pepper is certain that it's murder. I loved it of course!

Witches’ CatReally enjoy this series. This is one series that would benefit from starting at the beginning. Pepper and her aunts have had a lot of practice solving murders. I like how the stories flow and the characters. Pepper is learning her family history is a mass of intrigue. Looking forward to book 8. Morgana’s books are always fun with some magic and romance along with mysteries to unravel.

Pepper, also known as Valkyrie, is involved in another mystery at her great aunts’ rental cottages. A guest turns up dead not long after her husband has been murdered. The case is complicated when the guest’s daughter and granddaughter turn up. This is 7th in the series which is easiest to follow if you read the series from start to the current book. The series has strange but likeable characters and a unique setting. Very enjoyable.

Piper and her aunts are at it again! There's another murder in their small town. And it is up to them to solve the case. The police said it was natural causes but they think otherwise. This series is so good. This book didn't disappoint. I loved it. I finished it the day I started reading it.
