Inappropriate
A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.Terminated for inappropriate behavior.I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba. All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.I didn’t think he’d actually respond.I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk. Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me. But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming. It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with. Two wrongs don’t make a right. But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

Office romances between the sexy and seemingly unattainable CEO and his employee, never get old! Ireland is unjustly fired from her job over an Instagram post. Her belligerent email written during a drunken stupor, not only sets the course for getting her job back but it also places her on her CEO’s radar. Grant is intrigued by the beautiful woman who holds no punches and tells it like it is. While they try at first to keep things professional, it doesn’t take long for the romance to spark.Ireland has had her heart broken in the past and she’s not the kind of woman who will willingly risk being placed in that position again. She’s an easily relatable and lovable heroine. Grant has been a confirmed bachelor for many years. His story is a sad one, and it will without a doubt endear him to many readers. I enjoyed the story overall especially the emotional parts. Both of them had a difficult past that made them held back, one way or another. It’s a personal preference but I wasn’t a fan of a certain forced situation in the story. Grant licked his way back up to my clit and then suddenly two of his fingers were pushing inside me. It all became too much, too fast, and he groaned and coaxed me to come in his mouth. Grant was sexy, but I also loved him whenever he was out of his comfort zone. Ireland was sassy and a go-getter. The forbidden aspect of their relationship definitely heightened their sexual chemistry. Inappropriate is a story of forgiveness and moving on. It would appeal to readers who enjoy sexy office romance. 🚫 💼 🚫 . . . (F)BR With Loyda . . . 🚫 💼 🚫For more reviews/reveals/giveaways visit:

While away on a week vacation in paradise celebrating her best friend Mia's upcoming wedding she has a little too much fun, and a private video is leaked. When she returns home she suddenly finds herself unemployed. She's terminated, effective immediately for inappropriate behavior. Her career means everything to her, and she knew the news industry wasn't forgiving, but she feels she was wrongly fired. She's angry, and sends a drunken rant to the owner of the station telling him exactly what she thinks of him and his company. She'd worked hard for nearly ten years to get where she was today, and couldn't just walk away without a fight. Grant Lexington is a 29 yr. old wealthy bachelor and the president and CEO of Lexington Industries. He isn't used to anyone standing up to him, and is shocked when he gets an email from an employee telling him off. As they email back and forth he finds her entertaining, and is intrigued by the blond knockout who isn't afraid to speak her mind. He eventually learns she was the wronged party and offers to make things right. As they work together he soon wants to mix business with pleasure. He'd like the chance to get to know her better, but one touch and he just might be in over his head. Could she be everything that's been missing in his life? -Nothing about Grant Lexington was simple. Especially the fact that he was my boss.-Dear God, the man was handsome.-“The more I get to know you, the more I find to like.” Inappropriate is a fabulous, new standalone contemporary romance by Vi Keeland. I’m a total sucker for a sexy CEO mixing business with pleasure. Vi Keeland just delivered me the perfect story, which I enjoyed immensely. Let me tell you a little bit about what you can expect. As you might already know by reading the blurb, Ireland Saint James was fired over video posted on Instagram, by her drunk friends while on a girls vacation in Aruba. Coming home and getting drunk, she writes a way too sincere letter to no other than the CEO of the company. The funny thing is that he replies, so they start exchanging emails, which only makes him more curious about the sassy ex-employee. He gives her her job back (her contract was wrongfully terminated by her direct boss, not the CEO) , but that a spark had already ignited, physical attraction was there since they met by chance in a cafe, so, let the games begin! The plot might seem nice and easy, but there is a serious part that might break your heart. I mean i giggled and laughed a lot, but I also happen to cry a few times, which was unexpected. All in all, this is a classic rom-com, that’s not to be missed! Vi Keeland will make you feel so good with her characters, their quick wit, dirty talks and slow burn romance. The emotional depth is just a bonus, only to turn this new sexy novel into a great one! It would be an absolute honor to have you as my guest on my blog too. Stop by anytime you want :)

Both are so out-of-line, it’s comical, and the story left me guessing with every swipe ‘what will happen next.’ And then she adds stakes, massive gut-twisting, jaw dropping OMG stakes. Instead it provides a sort of light intro before the story weaves its way into much deeper emotional territory. It worked for me. I loved the frisky naughtiness, the sparky banter, and the sweet evolution of fun flirtation into something far more complex, heart-wrenching, and brilliantly beautiful.It. was. stunning. There were moments where I needed to put my kindle down to catch my breath. My heart cracked wide open and I cried all the tears. And y'all, I loved Ireland and Grant something fierce. Ireland is the perfect sort of strong, spirited, lion-hearted heroine that is impossible not to root for, particularly when paired with Grant's wounded alpha personality. Together they were all sizzle and swoons and my heart went all-in for them. This is a fast-paced story, but make no mistake: it's going to stick with me for a good long while. There is something about a Vi Keeland book that is so compulsively readable. There's some magic to her storytelling that draws you in immediately and keeps you hungry for more, obsessively flipping pages until you start panicking that you're nearing the end. Inappropriate was no exception. One part deliciously sexy, playful romance; one part intensely emotional, heartfelt love story - this book was perfectly balanced and utterly unputdownable. I adored it. I'm still recovering from it, but good gravy y'all, I cannot recommend it highly enough! ~ Shelly, 5 Stars***I adore office romances, especially when it’s a touch forbidden and snarky as hell. Inappropriate is all that but so much more too. I knew by reading the blurb there’d be smart and sexy banter and hot and dirty times between the sheets (and on the sofa, against the wall...) between Ireland and Grant. But I was completely taken off guard by the “real story” between these two and what really made them the people they are. It’s deep, emotional, gut wrenching, and ugly cry inducing. And worth every tear, tissue, and “no, I’m okay, just give me a piece of chocolate, please” request made when my worried husband checked in on me. I love love. Especially when it’s not easy and real. And it doesn’t get more real than between Ireland and Grant. I adored their relationship. Their sexy, smart romance is also dark and deep. And fantastic. Heartbreaking, heartwarming, and absolutely my favorite Vi Keeland book to date! Now, step aside, I need more tissues. ~ Missy, 5 stars

Anything she writes I will read. She never disappoints. Inappropriate is no exception. Ireland Saint James has just returned from a bachelorette holiday in Aruba. Only to receive a letter from her employer letting her know that due to a sexual explicit video on social media, she's been fired after 9 years! The bungalow that she and her friends stayed at had a private, nude beach. Ireland, after a few cocktails may have walked around topless. One of her friends may have filmed it and posted it. Somehow her company got a copy of it and she's no longer the reporter for the morning news. What's a girl to do? Get trashed with her best friend that's what. Waking up the next day, she remembers that not only is she unemployed, but she sent a drunken email to the president of Lexington Industries, her former employer. Let's just say it wasn't the most professional email she could have sent. When Grant Lexington, the president of the company, responds, it's not good. "For your information, I have not viewed the video you referred to. But if my spank bank ever runs a little low, perhaps I'll dig it out of my trash folder-along with the standard letter of recommendation your superior had planned to give you."She writes an apology email. He responds but still considers her unemployed. But Grant is intrigued by Ireland and he digs up her personal file which has some highly personal information. They have a few things in common. Grant Lexington is no spoiled rich kid. He was a foster kid adopted into a wealthy, loving family. His mom has passed and he's highly protective of his grandparents. His grandfather has dementia (grandpa is an absolute hoot!) and his family seems to be the only ones he's close to-that's by his choice. A chance meeting leads to a meeting between Ireland and Grant. The chemistry between them is bouncing all over the place. But Grant has been a little less than honest and that's about to go Kaboom!Inappropriate is funny and raw and has some heartbreaking moments."I've spent the last seven years avoiding anyone I might love."But it's also witty and hilarious (Ireland's bestie Mia is hysterical!) and there are more laughs than tears. Both Ireland and Grant have pasts filled with pain. Grant has locked up his heart in a vault and although he wants to give it all to Ireland, he's not sure how much he can give. There is unimaginable hurt in this story, but then again, no rain, no flowers. We fall in love by chance. But staying in love and making it work isn't something that happens by chance-that's a choice. And I've chosen to love Ireland.

The love story was lovely and heartwarming , however the bit of drama here was heartbreaking. I liked how this was told in the present but then we get flashbacks in Grant past so we can understand what really happened.I was rooting for this two to get a HEA ( even if I knew they would ❤ ). Grant is romantic, a gentleman, caring ,understanding and his dirty mouth and banter with Ireland was very sexy, but he struggles with a lot inside his head and heart , fact that doesn't let him move on and be happy until he overcomes his demons. Ireland is a very good h, she is funny , confident and supportive with H, a very good listener.I had a smile plastered on my face most of my time reading this and I loved the last chapters so much.Overall I would recommend this !❤❤-Grant and Ireland-“So you prefer me inappropriate and barking?”She laughed. “I prefer you to just be you and not filter what you’rethinking."

Ireland Saint James made one little mistake on vacation and when she returns home she finds a letter of termination from her job at Lexington Industries. Shocked and a hurt she decides to write the CEO of the company, Grant Lexington...she also might still be a little drunk, oops! Well he actually writes back and keeps writing her. No one has ever written such a colorful email to Grant before. Intrigued, he decides to continue the correspondences and find out more about Ireland. One unmentionable video made, will change her life forever. This was such a fun and exciting book to read. These characters just come to life off the pages and you can’t help but love them. You will giggle, fall in love and yes, maybe even tear up a little. Another amazing story with all the feels! I don’t want to say too much so you can discover what happens for yourself but I will warn this book does also deal with some emotional topics. Told in dual POV

This book owned me from beginning to end. My new favorite book by Vi Keeland. I can’t even put into words the emotions I felt through the journey of Grant and Ireland’s story. It was everything I love to read in a romance novel. The banter, the feels, the sexiness, that chemistry, flirtiness, it was impossible not to feel the butterflies all the time. And of course Vi Keeland never stops there she has to come and give us this surprising twists full of emotions that made me sob like I haven’t in This book owned me from beginning to end. OK I give up …. And by that I mean that from now on I’ll not only add the writing duo “Ward/Keeland” to my 1Click list but also Vi Keeland on her own. I am one lucky Girl being able to read “Inappropriate” this early and what can I say? And this one is one of the deeper ones which I did not expect when reading the blurb … but after a few chapters I had a certain feeling …. Sometimes you simply KNOW. The difficulty is how to write something without giving away anything. What I can tell you is that this book is a prime example for when a reader will fall in love with a fictional character. Because while there was a lot of banter, great chemistry, a solid backstory and a really hot male lead - there is also the same amount of depth and emotion. 4.5 STARS! No rain. No flowers. Inappropriate by Vi Keeland is a sexy standalone but it's so much more. It's heart and it's raw pain. The introduction to Ireland Saint James, the heroine, was just FABULOUS!! Here's this sassy and fun-loving woman who finds out she's been terminated from her job of nine years because of "inappropriate behavior". She flashed her boobs while vacationing on a topless beach. It was filmed and somehow it was seen by her boss. Poor Ireland doesn't take the news well. 4.5 STARS! No rain. No flowers. Inappropriate by Vi Keeland is a sexy standalone but it's so much more. It was filmed and somehow it was seen by her boss. Poor Ireland doesn't take the news well. She decides to drunkingly e-mail the CEO of the company not so nice things and when he emails her back she knows there's no chance she could save herself from this one.Grant Lexington is quickly intrigued by Ireland's ballsy attitude. They write to each other a few times and that's when he decides to look her up. They meet up by chance at a coffee shop across from the company and its really fate after that.Ireland and Grant go into an exclusive relationship after some months. I love their banter and their naughty moments! Ireland opens up to Grant about her past and she doesn't push or overreact when he's not so quick to share much about his. Getting those chapters from Grant's past that shed light on why he's so closed off, just showed how strong and flawed he is. It was humbling, though frustrating at times.Vi Keeland took the topic of mental health and wrote it so beautifully and respectfully. Pretty fast-paced and such a breeze to read, Inappropriate was so good you won't want to stop! Vi knows when to pull you in and shock you. It was a gut-wrenching, sad, and heartbreaking ride. So, prepare your tissues! *Edit was taken from the author.*I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.*

It is like going to your favourite restaurant and ordering your favourite meal - just the side dishes are different each timeHowever, there is alway the "things" that always happens in one of her books. I keep my eye out as soon as I start reading, and yep, we got it - again.I just wish that we didn't have it every. single. book.Inappropriate was enjoyable, and I look forward to seeing what she brings us next.

With Inappropriate, Vi Keeland delivers a fun, smexy and heartwarming story Ireland St. James got herself in quite a mess when she drunk emailed her company’s CEO after finding out she got fired because of an inappropriate video she did not post. Fortunately for her, Grant Lexington, her boss’s boss’s boss found the email refreshing and upon investigating further about her dismissal, he got Ireland her job back. He also started finding other reasons to interact with her, but getting involved with him would be inappropriate. Can she keep away from the charming and sexy man?Vi Keeland creates explosive chemistry between Ireland and Grant, writing brilliant banter that is so good you can’t keep from grinning. Their attraction leaps from the pages and is tangible from their first interaction, so much so that I couldn’t put their journey towards their happily ever after down until the very end. Both Ireland and Grant are delightful, well developed characters. Their interactions are delightfully witty. He’s confident and enigmatic, thoughtful and caring. He’s perfect for the smart and savvy Ireland. Yet no relationship is actually perfect. Grant has a painfully sad secret and Ireland has some understandable trust issues. They’re both afraid of getting hurt, but the pull between them is greater and both take the time to get to know one another. I loved all the elements that were expertly put together to produce this wonderful workplace rom-com. The secondary characters gave the story an added layer of depth while proving comic relief, the flash backs that progressively revealed Grant’s distressed past served to heighten emotions while all the fun, flirty and sexy moments fueled my craving to gobble up their story.Inappropriate is a standalone contemporary romance by Vi Keeland. Told from both points of view with a happy ending. I absolutely recommend this book if you like fun, sexy and emotional romaces.Amazon paperback -> https://amzn.to/2R6ilgz* I was given an ARC of this book courtesy of the author. OK, wow! I did not see this book coming! I absolutely loved it from start to finish. Inappropriate is fun, flirty and sexy but it is so much more than all of that. It takes on heartbreak, emotion and mental health. This book gives you everything and the kitchen sink but does it in a way that has you engaged from the very beginning. This story goes much deeper than surface level. There was a line in the book where Grant has inner dialogue about Ireland's beauty and how everyone sees her beauty but OK, wow! I did not see this book coming! There was a line in the book where Grant has inner dialogue about Ireland's beauty and how everyone sees her beauty but likely doesn't attempt to see deeper than surface level (I'm paraphrasing of course lol). This book is like Grant's thoughts on Ireland. As a reader you initially see a fun, sexy story but once you get in, you get so much more than you bargained for...in the best way possible. This is a top read for me of 2020!
