Resist Me by Chelle BlissI've only read two of these books so far but I'll update this review as I read the rest.Small Town Siren by Lexi Blake - Read 4 StarsJack and Sam met in foster care and have been together ever since, they work together running their own cattle ranch and they play together whenever they find a willing woman but they've never found someone that they wanted to be a permanent partner until they meet Abby. Abby left Willow Fork twenty years ago under a cloud of scandal that she didn't deserve and she had no intention of ever returning. She's only come home now to take care of her sick mother but she plans on keeping her head down and escaping as soon as her mother has recovered enough to look after herself again. Plans change when she gets caught up in Jack and Sam but if the rest of the town can't leave the past where it belongs then Abby is never going to feel comfortable making her home there. After loving Lexi Blake's recent rerelease of the newly updated Three to Ride I couldn't wait to pick up more of her stories so I immediately purchased a copy of Small Town Siren. This story has also been updated with extra chapters and additional scenes and the author is slowly rereleasing all of her books that were previously published under the pen name Sophie Oak. If you enjoy small town romances but are looking for something hotter than average and with a nice amount of suspense then I think these books are well worth checking out, especially if you're partial to menage stories!I have to confess I didn't love the atmosphere of Willow Fork quite as much I did Bliss, there were some nice characters and I liked Abby's childhood best friend and her family but in general people in the town seemed more judgmental and willing to hold a grudge than they did in Three to Ride. Bliss is more full of fun, quirky characters and a bit of an anything goes kind of place so it had a lighter atmosphere. Having said that I think that one person in particular was causing a lot of the problems in Willow Fork and I'm really hoping that we'll see things start to change in future books! To get back to the important part of the story I can say that I absolutely loved Jack and Sam. They're best friends who are as close as you can get but in a lot of ways they're opposites so Abby really does get the best of both worlds when she falls for both of them. Sam is more laid back and relaxed, he's happy to go with the flow and he's willing to follow Jack's lead while Jack is the dark and brooding type who is more intense and definitely prefers to be in control. They've both had difficult pasts but Abby's background hasn't been a bed of roses either so they all understand each other and are able to fulfil each other's needs. The chemistry between them all is intense and explosive and I didn't have a problem at all with their instant lust but I do think their relationship developed quickly and moved into love and marriage territory a little too fast. I've since found out that the second book in the series, Siren in the City, is also devoted to this triad though so I'm really hoping that will give me the growing bonds I was hoping for in this one. I'm definitely happy to spend more time with these three though, I really enjoyed the beginnings of their relationship and now I'm excited to watch that relationship strengthen and get deeper.Temptation by Robin Covington Read - 4 StarsI'm a huge fan of Robin Covington's adult contemporary romances so when I found out she was writing her first NA story and it was about a female country singer and a hot bad boy fireman I couldn't wait to read it. There is definitely a big trend for musicians in NA romances right now, it's obviously a big seller and I've read some really good stories but most of the time it's the guy who is a member of the hot rock band and the girl who is someone from out of the public eye so it made a nice change to see that turned on it's head in Temptation.Kit is only 21 but she's a huge star who went from living on the streets to being signed and becoming an overnight sensation when she was just 17. She was thrown into the spotlight at a young age and it's put a lot of pressure on her knowing that she is responsible not just for herself but also for all the people who work for her. Her career has taken a bit of a beating recently since she fell of the rails after a nasty break up and ended up in rehab but she's slowly working at building things back up again. Her record label were reluctant to give her a second chance so she's on her final warning and she's got to do whatever it takes to keep them on side and that means playing up her good girl image and keeping out of the spotlight.Max is a bad boy firefighter who was badly burned by his last relationship and has no intention of letting it happen again. He's happy playing the field and when he is thrown together with Kit for publicity shots after saving her from a fire he is more than willing to have a little fun with his favourite fantasy woman. Kit can't afford the scandal of a public relationship but the chemistry she has with Max is hard to resist. Surely they can have a little fun in private until she has to leave on tour to promote her new album without getting into too much trouble? It isn't quite as easy as they think to keep their relationship out of the public eye though and with reporter's following their every move Kit could end up losing everything.Temptation was a hot and spicy read and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I definitely wouldn't mind meeting a guy like Max in real life! I liked both of the main characters and felt that they worked well together as a couple, there were a few moments when I felt that there was a little too much angst between them but overall I thought their problems were realistic ones considering their situation and I enjoyed seeing how they would overcome the odds to work things out. If you've not read anything by Robin Covington before then this would be a great place to start but I'd also highly recommend her adult series starting with A Night of Southern Comfort because she writes fabulous and sexy contemporary stories.

I am so excited to read all of the stories in this anthology! So far I have read Husband Material by Raine Miller. Raine brings us the engaging, sexy story of Gage Danielson, whose fiancé dumps him via a not so nice letter she leaves behind for him. Is he upset about it? Yeah... Is he devastated over it? Nah... Truth be told, it sounds to me like he dodged a HUGE bullet when she runs off with one of his supposed friends. Truth be told, it sounds to me like he dodged a HUGE bullet when she runs off with one of his supposed friends. When Gage sees Giselle sitting on the beach one day, drawing, he feels a strong connection with her. She's beautiful, and French, and she's looking at him so intensely...he doesn't really know what to do with himself. Raine does a masterful job of fitting a lot of content into this novella. I loved seeing Gage and Giselle together, the way he was so gullible and fell for all of her teasing. The comfortable feeling they had with each other even though they really knew nothing about the other. And especially the change that Gage went through from thinking he wasn't husband material at all, to desperately wanting to spend his life with Giselle. The sexy times were oh so sexy! Mama Raine knows how to write a sex scene! As a die hard fan of her books, I absolutely loved finding all of the Easter Eggs she hid throughout this story. Now I am anxious to see what becomes of those little tidbits! More books!! Fans of Raine are going to love this novella, and if you haven't read her yet, this is a perfect story to get you started. I'm off to read the rest of the stories!!

Review of Dirty Rich One Night Stand by Lisa Renee JonesI love it when a heroine is feisty and sassy and can tell the hero off in a manner that only makes him want her more. And that is exactly what happens with Reese and Cat. From their first encounter he wants her and the more he gets to know her he wants everything. However, Cat is a one a done girl when it comes to rich lawyers. The way Reese slowly changes her mind is absolutely swoon worthy. However, Cat is a one a done girl when it comes to rich lawyers. The way Reese slowly changes her mind is absolutely swoon worthy. Soon he’s got her just where he wants her but the difficulty will be making sure she doesn’t put up any walls to stop their future. And then things really get tricky.I loved the dynamic with this couple along with a chemistry that is absolutely sizzling. There is no denying they are meant to be together. Other than a bit of internal conflict within Cat, the largest part of the problem was from outside forces making me consider this a relatively low angst read. Secondary characters are for pushing information forward and really didn’t carrying much of the story with the exception of their families. But even those scenes were bare bones. I would like to see more action and less internal musings but despite that issue, I still enjoyed this one.

Survival of the Richest by Skye WarrenThis was such an emotionally moving and draining story for me. How does Harper choose between Christopher and Sutton? Both men love her completely and differently.Skye Warren writes beautifully flawless characters that the reader loves and loves to hate. My emotions reading this book were like a roller coaster ride and I refused to get off, I had to ride it to the end.

Excellent stories from some super authorsSometimes love surprises you because you've already fallen...Fallen Ink explores whether it's true a man and a woman can't be friends and not get sexy. Adrienne and Mace have been through thick and thin with each other and still maintained their best friends only status. Will adding sex to the equation ruin that relationship? I love that in this book we really get to know these characters their hopes, dreams, and ambitions. I love that in this book we really get to know these characters their hopes, dreams, and ambitions. You're right there with them feeling their emotions. We also are introduced to a new set of supporting characters. You just want to immerse your self in this "world", become part of the family.Ruined by the Seal is another falling in love story by one of my faves Zoe York. Somehow I missed this one earlier. Mick and Cara both think they have a job fixing up Villa Sucre, an old sugar plantation on a beautiful Caribbean island. I guess you could call this one an enemies to lovers trope, but these two are so good hearted they don’t have a mean bone in their body. This story just made me smile and sometimes giggle. And you can’t beat the HEA.

Resist MeThis is definitely up there as one of my favorite Gallo books!! (Right next to my City ). Izzy is a spitfire to the extreme, filled with attitude & sass , and someone you don’t want to mess with. So imagine her surprise when she’s met the one man who can not only stand up to her, but turn her inside out & upside down. James is pretty much the ultimate bad a**, yet he can’t resist all that makes up Izzy, and maybe showing her who’s boss . I love James & Izzy together. This was hot & sexy and of course, we’ve got a bit of suspense to keep you on your toes. This is an absolute must read!!Fallen InkI loved being back with the Montgomery clan again. A new place, a new shop, new loves, and of course new problems too. There’s a lot going on, dreams coming true with the new shop opening. Best friends whose love for each other changes. An adorable little girl. And someone wreaking havoc on the new shop. This book was filled with lots of goings on that you keep you sucked in from start to finish! I can’t wait for more!!

This was a first-class romantic read with only one problem: the editing. The stories were rich in characters, romance, and enough heat to melt your kindles. But, the editing was shoddy, to say the least. I would recommend it, though, to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance.

Five stars for Chelle Bliss!!! I could have read on for more Chelle Bliss novels whose book was excellent as always.
