(Goodreads) Review:Whenever I read a Christmas River cozy, I feel like I am visiting old friends that I am catching up on and finding out what is going on in their lives. The characters are well rounded and well developed and the relationship between Cin and Daniel is very heartfelt and loving. And as usual, Warren, Cin’s grandpa, is my favorite and I love the relationship between them. The writing style flows smoothly and the book is a quick easy read. The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and those descriptions pulled me into the story right from the beginning. I would highly recommend this book (and series) to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. If you want engaging characters, an inviting setting and a well plotted mystery, you really want to give this series a try.

I seem to be out of the norm on this one. I would give it 2.5 stars because the storyline was simple and dull. The ending was sweet, but didn’t cut it for me.Brighty the Bassett hound??
