The Last Vessel (The Chronicles of Luna Moon Book 1)
I thought that the hardest thing I would have to face this year would be Trial Month. Gods, I was naïve. My name is Luna Moon. Don’t ask me what I am, because complicated doesn’t even begin to cut it. I recently found out that everything I knew to be true has been a lie. Including who I am. The goddesses and their chosen Guardians have been keeping a secret, and in the wrong hands, this secret would plunge our worlds into chaos. We are the only thing that stands in the way of the realms’ greatest evil escaping his eternal prison. Scratch that, I’M the only thing standing in his way. Themis’ scales have tipped. Nobody is safe. Nothing is as it seems. No one can be trusted. ***Author Note*** The Last Vessel is the first book in The Chronicles of Luna Moon series. This will not be your ordinary love story, for they are not your typical heroes. The Last Vessel is a medium-burn reverse harem intended for readers 18 years and over. It contains strong language, violence, and adult themes. The series also contains overbearing, overprotective, Alpha males who will try anything to keep Luna safe... I did say ‘try’, right?

Well this was fucking amazing. Gives me all the good vibes and i adore it reminds me in the best of ways of the lost sentinel series another RH with a badarse female. HOW!?Fuck this is like that time i read amanda bouchets kingmaker chronicles and was blown the fuck away and then went to check out this amazing authors what would no doubt be multiple award winning series only to find out IT WAS HER DEBUT FUCKING BOOK. Ive been blessed. To think another amazing creative goddess could be finding her courage and penning my next fuck me sideways experience in this very moment and not even know it makes you glad to be alive. How delightful.Very pleased to find out you are now an Aussie as an Aussie myself this pleases me immensely. Dont ask me why i have no clue must be some tribalism type thing but finding out you also have chronic illnesses pleases me -that came out weirdly fucked up- i wouldnt wish chronic illness on anyone but as a sufferer of those fucking debilitating bastards myself who also finds solace in books and Fantasy Romance RH especially well it was like finding a kindred spirit. I fucking knew i liked whomever waa behind the magical words but just finding out one of the many reasons why was that much more fun. Next thing i know youll be liking cats and chocolate and ill get all paranoid and have to start wrapping alfoil on my head. Also fucking well done on the sexy time scenes! Like especially given you arent the same genre of sexual love as luna ive read some pretty mundane and uninspired romantic/bedroom scenes by very married with kids ladies which now that i think about it i feel bad for them like guess they need more RH in there lives anyhoo its 5:30am and while i will always be reading>sleeping as you can tell my brain is off its rocker and well as the best of times its off in fairyland (like thats a bad thing!?) But considering i need like 10hrs sleep like im a toddler and not a fully grown female this also means im at that slighty existential delirious giggly but brain dead stage hence the batshit crazy review. I intended to devour this series so no pressure or anything but more please. Lol. Like i need to just fall into this book world and live there for a bit also gimme goddess powers please and a dragon or wings or really any magic would be great healing magic would be the best but ya know that or a bunch of mates in the animal planet descriptor and not the aussie slang way. Basically id like to be luna moon pleaseandthankyou. Arguably am already a luna something atm lol I forgot my train of thought but basically yay you! good work! you did the thing! dorky double thumbs up. I wish you all the spoons and idk what chronic demons you got being bitches but i hope they are exorcised to hell etc. 💖💖💖 id say be strong but you obviously already are! So keep your chin up or your crown will fall off and put on sunscreen even in winter cause this aint rainy ol england haha. For real though skin cancer aint cute. HOOROO!!!😘😘😘

5 Ground Shaking StarsI absolutely love this work by Winter Rose. It was breath taking to experience! MAJOR SPOILERS. I am super sad that we haven’t seen Balhar rescued yet. He seemed steeped in despair and I nearly couldn’t take it. I do love all of our MCs; Luna Moon encompasses all my most treasured characteristics when it comes to a female lead. Her strength of character and resolve, matched only by her physical strength. She’s obviously a goddess in the beauty department. Her strength of character and resolve, matched only by her physical strength. She’s obviously a goddess in the beauty department. I’m excited to see what powers develop for her in the future. Eros is the Siren. He’s obviously lust incarnate with the manipulation of water, gifted from the part Hades played in his manifestation. Always very light hearted, except in the most extreme cases. Ehre is the Elf. Elusian royalty, dripping in arrogance and contempt when he first deigns to grace us with his presence. He is lucky official mate numero uno. A man made lonely by life’s weight and circumstances, he hides his pain behind tall walls. Which fall when he is enveloped in Luna’s love. Anyone else going first would have drastically changed the layout for the story, for the worse. Vulcan is the Dragon. Desperately loyal and protective to mainly Luna, but also his “brothers” in arms. He is the first one to really embrace the connecting bond between our dear Luna and himself. And when I mean embrace, I mean it drives him. He is her saving grace. These two are much alike. Magnar is the Vampire. We first meet him not even realizing how important he is, in the form of Luna’s final trial. Magnar is equally as possessive. I honestly wish there was a little more from him in the story he seems to be the one that shows through the least of all the men. In this world, created by Winter, we follow Luna. A Vessel, the final Vessel, created to save the world essentially. Meant to be the saving grace for a corrupt world. She is meant to hold back Hades’ release from his imprisonment in the Underworld. Where his power grew exponentially during the previous war between the Vessels. Her Guardians, the men listed above, are meant to protect and assist her in accomplishing this goal. But the path to success is not nearly so simple. Balhar, the Wolf Shifter Guardian, has been captured and tortured for the past 20 years. Thankfully, and not surprisingly, having never have spilt the beans. Not only is she missing one of the necessary men, the goddess’ informed her about, but it seems one has left “The Council” and sided with a rebellion, an act that goes against everything she is meant to fight for. Even though it seems the council is a weed in dire need of removal. An intricate and convoluted web of misdeeds she must interrupt to successfully oust all evil doers and bring a long awaited peace to the lands. Simple, right? *Please excuse me if I am wrong about Falrouk being on the Guardians. That’s how the book interpreted for me. But when author was explaining his actions I got a little turned around. So I could be wrong. Too lazy to go back and fact check now.*Great book, if you haven’t read it? You should.

First I am sad that I read it all in one day but I guess that's actually my fault for not putting it down and going to sleep. That cliff hanger though >.< grrrrr...not as bad as some though. Because it doesn't exactly say what happens right there just the actions but not the end result other than she stands up straight and leaves kinda. Anyways!!!!! This book was really amazing for someones first book!! So you go girl. I was shocked when I read the notes at the end saying this was Rose's first book because it was so well written. Good background noise, the dialogue wasn't forced it flowed nicely, great detail without being overly detailed and making us bored, witty but serious, it was just really good. I am reaaaaaalllllly reallllly looking forward to the next book, I mean I want it out like tomorrow but I have no problem re-reading this book when the second book comes out.

I cannot believe this is Winter Rose’s first book, I seriously cannot believe it. This book is so well written, It blew my mind. The characters are so well written, there’s such a depth of feelings to them, it’s incredible. There’s so much more than just their good looks and what one sees on the surface, things we can’t even imagine. And I loved getting to see different sides of them. I loved to watch Luna grow into her power and herself. I loved how absolutely BA she is. And how incredibly amaz I cannot believe this is Winter Rose’s first book, I seriously cannot believe it. Winter managed to wave a tale that grasps you from the very beginning and keeps you hanging by a tread, desperate to know what happens next. There’s only one word on your mind, and that’s MORE. I breathed this book like one breathes air, and it’s that kind of book one can read over and over again. And boy, the tension between Luna and her guys is just... they’re all positively edible and you can feel the tension the way they do. I’m desperate for the next one, I can’t wait to see what happens next, where the story is going and watch the relationships between her and her guys build and grow and mature. All in all it’s a spectacular debut and I’m going to be anxiously waiting for the next one. I would give it a billion stars if I could.

FMLWhat am I supposed to do now? This is the question I am asking myself as I write this review. I haven’t given a 5 star review in a while so let’s start there. Luna Moon is an amazing mc. She is independent and feisty and a totally fighter. I love this about her . She isn’t some needy female who needs saving. The actual story line is so good. There are some juicy moments but they definitely do not effect the substance of the book which I also really like. They make the story better rather than just being a story about sex. This is Winter Rose’s first book ever and I can’t even believe it. It’s wonderfully exciting and so interesting. I don’t know how I am going to make it until the next book (and no I’m not being dramatic). If you’re reading this thinking about getting this book I promise you, you will not regret it.

Nope, this got that out of the way at 50%, the rest is her dealing with it, with them and The Who Done It if betrayals past. Cons:- Not always sure about FMC, though I love her. Character inconsistent.- felt like big points were rushed to or through.

Awesome Debut NovelSince this is the author’s debut novel I can only imagine her writing and stories will only get better and better as she harnesses her craft. I loved the world building! The mixture of mythology and the paranormal was on point. There are so many little hidden mysteries that I’m sure will all be revealed in upcoming books that kept me thoroughly intrigued from the first chapter to the last. The slow to medium burn romance was just enough to entice. Highly recommended!!

awesome-sauce 🖤I can not tell you enough how hard it is to find fun books that are easy to read, original, and sexy. This book has it all. You know a book is a labour of love when it reads like a love letter to your mind. This is a unique spin on the Olympian pantheon. There are supernatural/paranormal races linked to specific gods, and it’s reverse harem yumminess. I am excited for book 2 and will preorder the moment it’s available, I pray to the old gods it’s soon!

Holy Shitake MushroomsOkay, what to even say after that book??First, let me start off with, this book was utterly, amazing! There are so many things going on that poor Luna doesn't seem able to keep up with it all at first. But once she understands what's going on she grabs that bull by his bollocks and demands it be done her way. I absolutely loved Luna and her guardians and cannot wait to see what happens in the next book when it comes out.

New Series Alert!!!Yes yes yes!! This is a phenomenal book. It is everything i want in a PNR and more! A steady developing and interesting plot, an h Luna that is strong - bada€€, but believably vulnerable, exciting journey ahead. And each of her guardians whew! Sometimes in an RH most of the men have a copy and pasted personality and then there’s the grumpy one. Yes we do get a grumpy suitor but it’s not dragged out for book after book. Can’t wait to read the next!

Each of the men in her life or Guardians had there own Personalities and for the life of me I can’t choose my favourite!! This book has a fantastic and original plot which is only just developing and I can’t wait to see where it leads. Thus book has Gods, Romance and Paranormal!! I will definitely be getting the next!!

Luna Moon, abandoned at the door of the priestess at the Koray pack. She is not wolf, she’s raised to believe she is a worthless hybrid. She is the best at combat. She wants to join the league and be the best. Which she is. Little does she know she is so much more than she knows. Out of her guardians, Vulcan is my favorite. I love where this story is going and I can not wait for book two. That ending though?!? I can not wait to see the change in her.

Good bookLuna moon is complex and smart with a bit of i can't believe they are mine and I get to touch them going on. I love how fierce she is and that she's not afraid to kick their arses. The boys are tempting and cool with a bit overbearing effectiveness that all girls dream about.

Good start to series Yes, this is the start of a series so be prepared to wait for the next instalment—because you’re going to want to find out what happens next. This is an original book world of fantastic mythical beings. I loved how the author has described this world and it’s workings within the story. And the story is good.

WowWhat an amazing debut for a new author. I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend and I’m so glad I did. The world building is exceedingly complex and I’m drawn in to all the ups and downs Luna and her guardians face. I was hooked to the last word and was sad when it ended.

Princess Moon Moon This debut novel by Winter Rose absolutely rocked me. I loved the twist on mythology, the tough-as-nails Luna Moon, the devastatingly sexy Guardians...what a fantastic first book! There were a few typographical errors here and there, but the story absolutely killed it.

I absolutely LOVE this book.Winter uses a completely different writing style than I’ve seen in an Indie Author, and honestly than I’ve seen in even a big publishing house author. You’re dragged straight into the story from the moment Luna is on the ledge of the castle, to the very end of the book. You’re completely lost to the story line.

It was nice to see a rev harem that wasn’t some over angsty teen going to an academy where she’s bullied. My main question is what’s going to happen between her and Luke.
