Falling from Gravity (Gravity, #1.5)
*Prequel to Defying Gravity*If I hadn’t considered Amelia dangerous before, I certainly did now. She wasn’t anything like I had expected. Even after all these years—of living so close to her, of listening to her giggle with my sister in the bedroom next to mine—I hadn’t given much thought to my sister’s best friend. But in the span of one week, everything had changed.Everything.** Falling from Gravity was originally released in the Spring Fling Anthology **

4.5 Moon StarsI flew through this short novella! I was hooked from the start, especially once I realized who Amelia was;) There were Youtube, links showcasing the songs and routines Amelia, danced to for this book just like in, “Center of Gravity”...which I loved seeing again!!! This book gives us Amelia, and Tobias back story (the prequel to “Defying Gravity”). I really like the dance, and basketball feel of this one so far, and I know there will be more of both to come! Man. KK Allen sure knows how to completely pull you into a story in just a few chapters. This was just an appetizer & boy was it fulfilling. Tobias and Amelia set out on a spring break - he to do what he does best, wander. And Amelia to just get away from life and rules and setbacks. Who knew they would fall into each other. Fast paced, sexy, and utterly unputdownable. I cant wait to see where these too land.

I immediately connected with Amelia and Tobias. Their connection was apparent but not in your face, which I appreciated. A lot of times, in my opinion, authors try to over exaggerate or “push” a physical connection of two characters onto a reader, completely forgetting about an emotional connection. That isn’t the case for Amelia and Tobias. I felt their FRIENDSHIP and their physical attraction to one another which only deepened my connection to them and their feelings. The only bad thing about I immediately connected with Amelia and Tobias. ➳ Rate: 5/ 5 starsOh boy, I was so excited to read this novella and meet the characters from Defying Gravity. I loved Center of Gravity so damn much and have been dying for more of this dance world ever since...and let me tell you...this novella did not disappoint one bit. It's just as good as any K. K. Allen full novel with her usual heat and flare of angst to keep you going until Tobias and Amelia are back in Defying Gravity. I loved how they couldn't resist their attraction and how deep they went in just a couple of days sharing their hurts and their dreams and being each other's chearleader. I really loved how Amelia was Tobia's motivational coach, he needed to hear what she had to say, he needed to feel that spark back and she gave him that tenfold. I am simply dying to know how they will work out their relationship in the real world. Camping alone in the middle of nowhere is simple but being back home with their families, mainly Tobia's sister and Amelia's bestfriend... it's bound to be a crazy ride and I can't wait to see how it's all gonna go down. I feel a little drama coming on a whole lot of angst. Give me!➳ Order at: Amazon UK ⁕ Amazon US ➳ Follow me on: Blog ⁕ Instagram ⁕ Facebook ⁕ Twitter

Falling From Gravity is a prequel to K.K. Allen’s newest release Defying Gravity. This novella should be read before diving into Defying Gravity. This novella is told in both Amelia and Tobias’s point of view. Believe me when I say, you don’t want to miss out on this sexy camping excursion between a woman and her best friend’s older brother. About Falling From Gravity,Years ago Tobias received some news that shook him to the core and changed his whole perspective on life and what truly matters. Falling From Gravity is a prequel to K.K. Believe me when I say, you don’t want to miss out on this sexy camping excursion between a woman and her best friend’s older brother. About Falling From Gravity,Years ago Tobias received some news that shook him to the core and changed his whole perspective on life and what truly matters. Betrayal is a cold hearted bitch, and because of the lies he’s become a loner. Forget basketball and NBA dreams, this man has much bigger issues on his plate to worry about.Amelia has only had one dream on her mind, and that’s to become a member of the Lion’s Dance Squad in the NBA. But because she’s on the cuff of turning eighteen, they still view her as too young to try out. With her dreams crushed for the time being she does what any girl with a broken heart would do, She dances. With two broken hearts and two broken dreams, and the fact that her family and best friend forgot about her eighteenth birthday, Amelia and Tobias head off to Big Sur for a camping excursion. My Thoughts:This is the first time I’ve had the chance to experience the wonderful world of K.K. Allen’s writing. I have to say, I was addicted from the start. This author has a way of pulling people in from the start and adding little hopeful touches that keep the intrigue going. And intrigued, I was.I loved this small glimpse into Tobias and Amelia’s world. It was fun with endless banter and a chemistry that is so unlike anything I could even begin to expect. Overall, I was swept away on this short journey.. It left me not only wanting more, but absolutely needing so much more. ________________Find me here:The Staircase ReaderInstagramFacebookTwitter

It doesn’t matter how many pages a KK Allen book is she reels you in all at once and it consumes you until the last page. I love these two characters so much already. The story is complex yet a breath of fresh air. Her words flow flawlessly off the pages. One of my favorites that I’ll be recommending for the rest of the year!!

I loved everything about this story and now I am counting down the days until the release of Defying Gravity and the continuation of Amelia and Tobias' story.Amelia is a high school senior who loves to dance and wants to dance professionally for the NBA. Wow, K.K. never ceases to amaze me with the way she pulls me in with her words! If you love a forbidden romance, you will fall head over heels for Amelia and Tobias. And did I mention that this story involves dance and basketball?!?! Seriously, Amie and Tobias will leave you cheering for more as their inconceivable love blossoms during their spring fling. I cannot wait to see how their story plays out in Defying Gravity! #bringiton #nothingbutloveforKK

Oh my goodness! I’m so happy this author is writing some more sports romances! I fell in love with this couple right away. I think I’m loving this best friends older brother trope (though the best friend makes me think the FMC needs a new bestie.). I can’t wait to revisit these character in their upcoming novel for their second chance at love!

But in the span of one week, everything had changed.Everything."*Falling From Gravity is a standalone short story and also the prequel to Defying Gravity (releasing on July 25th!)*I really enjoyed this sneak peek into Tobias and Amelia's story. It was written so well, it only has me more excited to read their book! I liked that we got this short glimpse into their past, and what happened in that week that they had alone together. The buildup with that has me wondering what went wrong for them, I know the angst is coming! "Maybe this was a bad idea."He Nodded, his eyes smoldering like they were burning their way right through me. "I tried to warn you. Birthday Girl. No turning back now." I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. I'm not going to go into a full blown review for this prequel, because I want to save that for their actual book, but I will say this one is definitely worth the read. These two had sizzling chemistry, there was clearly an attraction between the two of them, and I enjoyed the will they or won't they that eventually turned into....PLEASE GET YOURSELVES TOGETHER. "I hadn't given much thought to my sister's best friend. But in the span of one week, everything had changed. Everything." I think I can kind of get a glimpse of where some of their angst and drama is going to come from, just from the little sneak peek into their lives. There is one big elephant in the room for the two of them, and there is also the matter of them both having these huge dreams to chase. I can't wait to find out what happens in their story. Overall, I'm giving this prequel 5 STARS. This was a great introduction to the main story, and it left me wanting more. I can't wait to see where their story goes and how it unfolds. This had the perfect amount of steaminess, and also kept me invested in the story and excited for their full book! Check out this review and more on my blog!https://njpennybookreviews.blogspot.com/

That those around him woke up and realised his pain.A fantastic introduction to both the characters and their backstory.I'm super excited to follow this up with "Defying Gravity" upon release.

Every time I pick up a KK Allen book, I am amazing at how exquisite her writing is. The emotions and passions of her characters pour from the pages with every word I read. KK Allen has such a talent for telling sexy heartfelt stories that I am always left in awe at the end of her books. Tobias and Amelia's story is no different. They are both passionate characters, not just about each other but also about basketball and dancing. I relished watching the start of Tobias and Amelia's romance. This is how it all began for Tobias and Amelia. Although only a novella this one really packs an emotional punch. Falling in love with your sister's best friend and finding your love of a game that was stripped from you when secrets were revealed is not easy for Tobias but it is the love of Amelia and her insight into what makes him tick that brings joy to them both. I cannot wait to read more of this series to see what happens to them.
