Broken Trust (Dark Legacy Book, #2)
They think they own me now. They think they’ve won, and that I’ll be their good little soldier. Four dangerous, damaged, messed up boys. There used to be five, but one of them died, and I’m starting to suspect he was murdered.I didn't ask for this. No one would ask to be played, manipulated, seduced and betrayed. But that’s what happened, anyway. It wasn’t enough for them to break me. Sebastian Beckett has decided that he can’t let me go, but I refuse to forgive and forget his betrayal so easily. His fixation is bordering on obsession, but when we begin to suspect a spy within Delta, there’s no time to deal with his feelings. Someone is selling us out, and it’s having a dire impact. It’s life and death hiding behind corporate greed.Let the battle begin.*This dark contemporary romance features four sexy, dangerous boys but is NOT a reverse harem.*

Holy balls, that book was like mind-blowing. It's very rare for me to love a book so much the dynamics and the friendship the story was just like wow. I have no words for this book how great it was. I just wish the second book was already out. Seriously giving book hangover.

The guys have no choice but to leave her on her own. High school is a real when you're an outcast and they student body declares open season. Through in a Huntley heir and things get really interesting. This book was definitely more intense than the first and that's saying something. The pull that Beck and Riley have, and the fact that she was fighting it adds and extra little something to the already filled book. I loved every word in this book! If I could give it more than five stars I would! There's a little something for everyone, murder, some hot AF scenes we just love, some darker moments. This book really has a little bit of everything and I just couldn't put it down.

What hormonal teenager who just lost her parents, got thrown into a brand new world, experienced an unsettling level of betrayal and public embarrassment, was essentially left to fend for herself would not FEEL overwhelmed and unsafe to be around a group of men after being physically assaulted and forced into a classroom and experiences sexual violence at the hands of her peers?!?! Yes, she may have not been forcibly raped, but the forcible removal of her clothes and being pinned down and beat upon would leave ANY female scarred. Instead the very next day she’s back in the arms of the person who betrayed her and was inadvertently responsible for her assault on school grounds (which is technically a supposed to be a safe space with mandated reporters). The shame in which this portion of the story was handled and how there was no real trigger warning is just plain bad. However I feel the need to say that this has to be a Tate James thing, in one of the Kit Davenport books she was kidnapped, stripped naked and subjected to torture that included fingernails being removed. In the same scene after she’s rescued from her attacker, she has sex with her savior in a room filled with blood and gore despite us learning earlier on in the series that she can heal faster if she experiences bouts of adrenaline from fear or lust....Other plot points that bugged me, introduction of characters that never really went anywhere, the reveal of the first female heir dying at the hands of her “barren” mother, the incest spoiler, and how come no one brought up the fact that Kathryn was technically Riley’s blood relative?

Riley- in all honesty I don’t know how the girl is still standing, the shit she went through, just wow. The deceit and secrets had me on edge the whole book and I can’t wait to read book 3 so that we can have the answers and my brain can chill out. More please!!I absolutely love this series. If work didn't get in the way I would read it all in day without sleep lol. Riles has her work cut out for her. Murder is just a new part of her life she needs to get use to if she wants to survive long enough to see the end game. Sebastian well what can't I say about him. That possive a** get sexier with each book. Dylan is a hottie to. I just wish there was more back stories on the guys. Do I recommend this book. Um very much so. Happy reading

Riley crossed the line and now Delta controls her. But they will never own her. She will find a way out of this world. The real pain comes from the four boys she was starting to consider family. They manipulated her, one seduced her, and they all betrayed her. Now they want her to understand, to forgive and forget. It's just not that easy. It's just not that easy. But with a mole in Delta and constant threats, Riley needs to decide who the true enemy is. These boys may be messed up, they may have broken her, but they have the ability to put her back together as well. This story is dark, twisted, and full of betrayal. Each Delta Elder is worse than the last and the Huntley's are no better. The Heirs aren't quite as bad, yet but they are borderline. Honestly, I can't decide if I love them or hate them from page to page. I have to admit though, that their "soft" moments steal my heart. Beck, Dylan, Jasper, and Evan are scary, sexy, and scary sexy! For the thousandth time, I wish this was RH!!!I rated this a 5 star because of its addictive quality. It is one of those books that I couldn't put down; read through the wee hours and snuck chapters during meetings. However, there are some plot points that I took issue with. "Delta controls the world". Clearly not. One of their heirs suffers at the hands of lessers. More than once and in extreme ways. I understand that protection was withdrawn, however, I do not believe that they would allow one of their own to EVER be touched like this. It tarnishes their power. They are all about control yet the circumstances of this scene and the lack of real punishment was too much. I was able to reconcile this scene because the overall story is so over the top, so this was just extra. I felt like we got to see different sides of the guys this time. It made them more relatable. Without this, there could have been no real connection to Riley. Riley is still floundering much of the time. It's a little frustrating but then when you think about the timeline, it makes sense. She's suffered so much trauma in a short time period; she wouldn't have a chance to gain any real strength in this world yet. She doesn't know the rules, she can't change the game. One day... one day Butterfly will become lethal. That ending. I can't even. I can tell the next book will be an all-night read too! Trigger Warning: Sexual and physical assault.

This rejection causes Riley to become fair game for everyone who hates her because of her connection to the Heirs, there are so many situations where Riley gets bullied by females and the boys don’t do much, however the near gang rape causes the boys, especially Sebastian to become so angry and protective as they realise the danger that Riley is in is serious and much bigger than they thought and that they choose to protect her rather than their reputation. Afterwards the Heirs get to do a mission together, they go to Oscar’s grave which is later mentioned again. Riley begins to let the boys in again as she know that even though they betrayed her they had no choice and they do care about her and so she forgets them and especially Sebastian. The danger that Riley is in becomes bigger and bigger. However, this results in the Heirs getting closes and becoming an untouchable and unbreakable unit, especially Sebastian and Riley, as he confesses his love 💖 The cliffhanger was so bad though like how could the Jaymin and Tate do this to us. Overall the book was epic. It was yet another book by Jaymin and Tate that I loved and I cannot wait for book three to come out so that I can find out what happens next. Also, do the boys find out what Riley does at the end.. will she tell them, or Sebastian??? Can only find the answers in the next book... so come on Broken Legacy come on out soon pleaseeee 🥺🥺🥺

On a book that touts the family name and being a delta heir, how it offers protection, she shouldn’t have gotten that treatment because she turned her back on the four. That was too much. She should’ve been more protected. Or if that was a scene that “needed” to happen, I wish they could’ve spun it with her coming out of it herself. Idk what was the point in some of her training if she never excelled at it or used it. Her character was betrayed by so many and she’s still acting a little like a victim. She did some pouting and flicked them off while driving fast away but she hasn’t developed any true self defense skills. For the love of everything holy please give this girl something! She was supposed to be scrappy and ect growing up in a not so great environment. Come on!!!! Pleaseeeeeeee do something with her character.

Riley is a very well written character; her pain and emotional journey through the story is fantastic. The Delta Heirs are brutal with a constant need to keep up appearances I enjoyed seeing them through Riley’s eyes as she stood up to them and what they did to her in book one. As with most dark romance stories this book does contain triggers that some readers many struggle with. The chapters from Beck POV were a highlight for me and I really hope he gets more in book 3. There is another insane cliff hanger at the end of this one that will leave readers begging for more!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Wow this story is getting better and better! I like the heroine, which is so conscious about the things that are happening around her and is brave enough to face them without playing a damsel in distress. The boys are hot, funny and dangerous all of the, have strong alpha appearance, but Sebastian... well, let's say he is the top dog and I am expecting a lot of male cockiness from him.The cliffhanger left me with an open mouth and I am already writing a different scenarios in my head. Great readSo usually I don't read these kind of books I'm more of a paranormal romance kind of person however when I first started reading the first book in this installment it kind of grass me and I like HeLLeVeN11 and I love that about this book it keeps you intrigued it don't Ramblon give you just enough details to pull you and keep you there and just when you think there isn't a twist or turn them against you I love the first book I love the second book and I'm dying for the third

Broken TrustHoly smokes! That cliffhanger!!!!! I can't wait till August. This book was crazy good! Very intense, had me on the edge of my seat practically the whole book. Riley is such a strong FMC. I love how she's tough but not afraid to show her vulnerability. Beck, he's ugh...frustrating and so intense. Dante, really just moved to the bottom of my list he's got some explaining to do. I really wish this was an RH. I love all the guys. Eddy is a trip but kinda "fruity" lol gotta love her.

4.5🌟I fell in love with these characters and their story in Broken Wings, and Broken Trust just enhanced my love for them even more. This book is about Riley dealing with the all the Delta drama, coming to terms with being betrayed by the people she trusted, while trying to figure out who she can rely on, and added twists and turns. Plus happy moments too! This book was wonderful and I can’t wait for the next one!

WOW! I can not believe what I just read, I couldn't put it down, and just like book one there is some much whiplash and twist and turns. I can't wait for book 3, Im a little ticked that there is no date on which book 3 will be coming out, I mean you leave us all with our mouths dropped with the cliffhanger bomb and you give us a next book title but nothing on when it will be out this year. I need book 3 stat
