He wants her smiles, he wants her touch, and he definitely wants her in bed.Unfortunately, someone else wants Leah—in the worst way. Now Tyler’s on a mission to protect the woman he’s falling in love with while proving he’s worth falling for, and Leah must decide whether Tyler is a catch worth catching…

I did a re-read with the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic! I loved this just as much as I did the first time I read it. This was filled with so much sugary goodness. It's low angst, funny with a protective alpha and a sweet heroine that you can't help but love. This is my favorite type of a light read. It's stress free but still delivers what I want in a book. Tyler is a take charge alpha who knows what he wants and he wants Leah. Leah is a total sweetheart. She's the type of heroine tha I did a re-read with the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic! If they want her, they have to make a move and Tyler is the right man for the job.We got so much couple time which I love to see in the books I read. There is also some really great side characters as well as some cute scenes with kids. I highly recommend this book, especially to readers who just want a fun, low angst read.

Great start to a new series!I really enjoyed this sweet, heartfelt book that made me smile so big! Leah was so bright and cheerful, i couldn’t help but adore her (and her best friend Cassie). Aurora Rose Reynolds is the queen of writing the perfect romance and alpha male goodness and this book certainly lived up to my expectations in that regard. The characters seem so real, the connections so true, and the families so welcoming. Just a great blend of all the things I love to read about. I enjoyed every second I spent with Leah and Tyler. There was not one moment in this story that I did not like. It was fast paced, sexy and hot and full of emotion. Can't wait for the second book in the series.💝 ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. 💝

This was such a fun and sweet read and with all the angst I have been reading lately, this was just what the doctor ordered. Tyler and Leah were extremely funny and cute together...and did I mention HOT, they were definitely HOT. Tyler was everything one would look for in a book boyfriend... all delicious alpha goodness !! Now I am gonna be honest here and say that I normally like a bit more angst in my story and a bit less sugary goodness, but in this case, it worked for me, especially because This was such a fun and sweet read and with all the angst I have been reading lately, this was just what the doctor ordered. NOW LIVE!Amazon US * Amazon UKCatching Him is full of Aurora Rose Reynolds' usual sweetness and was a fun book to read. It was easy in that it didn't have a ton of drama or angst that overshadowed the romance between Leah and Tyler, and I really enjoyed that. There was some mystery thrown in with an unknown person coming after our main characters, but honestly I could have done without that. It didn't add anything to the story and I would have preferred the focus to have stayed on the romance. Then the H meeting h’s family and friend. Family is quite nosy and also happy that the h got a good guy. I skipped quite a bit of the family part. Because it was boring me. Finally the H and h starts dating.I loved the h’s cat and H’s dog. Both of the pets were cute. Everything was going quite simple and sweet. The h’s ex tries to create some drama. I've read two Aurora Rose Reynolds books before this one and have yet to understand the hype of the author. This one looked like it was going to be a cute, fun romance, so I decided to give the author one final chance. Tyler takes an immediate liking to Emerson and inserts himself into her life until Emerson can't ignore him anymore. Ugh. I honestly just think Aurora Rose Reynolds is not my cup of tea. There were so many things about this book that had me rolling my eyes and on the verge of putting this book down from 30% onward. First was the dialogue. While I was reading this, the dialogue felt so stiff and there was no way I could imagine people actually talking like that. The characters would sit around and talk about nothing and I was bored most of the time of this book. I also wasn't a fan of Emerson at all and how clueless and immature she acted as a woman in her early 30s. When it came to the romance, I was just not on board with this book. The pacing was weird and definitely insta-lovey. These guys were barely dating and telling each other I love you and meeting each other's families. There was a "mystery" thrown in at the end that was so obvious and random and I just wasn't a fan. The only reason I even finished this book was because I received a copy for review. If I picked it up on my own, I would have put it down before the halfway point. I think I'm done with this author and her alpha males and insta love plot lines.

I was in desperate need of a story that I could just chill with, assured I’d get all the alpha goodness I love as well a tiny touch of drama and all the swoony-ness I desire. I found it here. The meeting between Tyler and Leah was hilarious, fun, cute and a bit sexy considering what Leah was not wearing. I love when a cute meet leads to a bit of embarrassment on the heroine’s part and that’s exactly what happens. But Tyler is that true alpha hero who knows what he wants when he sees it and he wants Leah. His courtship of her was too incredibly sweet, honest and real to be described. He wanted to work himself into her life and he set out to do exactly that. ”As much as I like just hanging with you, baby, you gotta know it’s killing me not to kiss you or touch you like I want to.”Oh my God.“I---““I wanted you to get to know me,” he says, cutting me off. “I wanted to be sure before I made a move.” Obviously, I loved Tyler in all his protective, possessive alpha-ness. He checked every box I have for a perfect hero and some I didn’t know existed. Likewise, Leah was sweet, sincere, a bit leery going in that this guy was real but not to the point of it being an issue between them. She was fierce and independent but capable of compromising when needed and totally able to kick tail when required, much to Tyler’s dismay. The chemistry between this couple sizzled and ignited to an all-consuming proportion the more time they spent together. As their relationship grew, the emotions of it grew as well and was a palpable thing that ignited across the pages. It was in all the little things that amounted to the total picture of a couple falling in love, embracing it, and dealing with what life threw at them in the process. ”You look amazing. You’re always beautiful and always have a way of stopping my breath and giving it back to me, but right now…” I shake my head. “Jesus, baby, you stop my heart from breathing.” This is one of those books you’ll find yourself having read in one sitting and then despite the wonderful epilogue, disappointed that you’ve reached the end before you know it. There are some amazing secondary characters including Leah’s family that felt so much like my own I felt like I knew them personally. No matter how many books by this author I read, I am always amazed at how she wins me over time and time again with amazing characters and feel good stories that make my heart sing. Catching Him was another huge win and I can’t to read more in this series!I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Montlake Romance. All thoughts and opinions are my own.Mostly heroine POV with a few scenes in the hero’sSafe (view spoiler)[h is not a virgin; H is not a manwhore; no ow drama although H’s mom keeps trying to bring ow up; some om drama – one scene where om is trying to get a lunch date with h but H interrupts and it is soon made clear to the om that the h is no longer available – he does cause a bit of drama later on but not the kind that causes a problem between the h/H (hide spoiler)]Triggers (view spoiler)[h’s home is broken into and wrecked (hide spoiler)]

It also doesn’t hurt that both Tyler and Leah are gorgeous and light each other up like Christmas trees, even from the very first time Leah breaks into Tyler’s house and gets a gun pulled on her. It’s a long story.Tyler knows within seconds Leah is the woman for him. Leah is attracted to Tyler but isn’t getting her hopes up. One guess as to how long that friendship remains platonic, folks.Overall, I really enjoyed Catching Him. This is a sweet (almost to saccharine levels) story and while those normally aren’t my jam, I found myself loving Tyler and Leah together. I kept waiting for the other show to drop, where Tyler turns into a jackass and confesses to having a wife stashed away somewhere or something, but luckily that never happened.Sugar helps make the world go ‘round, but after awhile I wanted something more. A little more angst, a little more drama, whatever. I lasted a surprisingly long time without the need for something besides Leah and Tyler’s perfect love, but eventually I found myself a little bored.Catching Him is a cute little love story made just for those times you feel the need to take a hiatus from the drama normally found in romances. Tyler and Leah are a fabulous mix of sweet and hot and if they’re anything to go by, I can’t wait for the rest of the series. From cosy dinners to quirky pets these two go from friends to lovers. With family drama in the background and sudden acts of vandalism and arson the road to their hea gets bumpy!Ok so quick pointsWhere was the POV of the H? This is a surprise coming from this author because there was very limited chapters from his POV especially in the beginning. Unfortunately this seriously impacted on my enjoymentSo many chapters devoted to day to day living leads to boredom. I mean do I seriously need to know that they got up showered went to work visited family and had dinner? I get that the relationship was building but really nothing much was happeningThe H actually didn't turn into the usual ARR growly possessive Alpha until surprisingly later in the book. Since I read mostly for her version of an Alpha hero I honestly almost dnfThe suspense part of the plot was a bit OTT. She'd been on one damn date with the bad guy! One! The dated as teens but broke up seemingly amicably so why would he hire someone to commit all those criminal acts? Then for his Justice to be to move away because of the pressure on his dad's law form?!!!The drama with the H's mother was unnecessary, I mean which mother wouldn't want to see her son advance professionally even if he had to move away to do it*Sidenote- I didn't like knowing the H dated a lotThe h was tired of being the one chasing the guys or putting more effort into the relationship but I didn't feel that the H chased her per se. He was however nicely investedThe title made me think this'd be a room com(idk where I got THAT idea) I expected a quirky h and some fun banter man dammitThe epilogue saved things a bit for meAll in all an ok read but honestly if this were any other author my rating would definitely be lowerOM drama from a guy the h datedShe did run into her committment phobic ex A secondary character was assaulted but the h, the badass, physically dealt with the idiot*******Some interesting secondary characters I'd be interested in reading about!

She knew what she wanted and wasn’t prepared to settle for less than she deserved and from the first page I wanted to adopt her as my BFF. Leah and her crazy cat made me laugh. Mainly because I have a very similar arsehole cat that we all love to hate. And I loved her family and friends. Personally she could have been a little less forgiving of certain people but that’s my character flaw.Tyler was everything you could want in an alpha hero. From his first interaction with Leah he was perfect. And when the jealous, possessive growling made an appearance I was pretty much ready to hand over my ovaries. I seriously love a man who puts his woman first and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone knew Leah was the center of his world and it just made me a swoony, melted mess. And of course I loved Bruce. Throw in a well loved dog who is as protective and possessive of his loved ones as the hero and the book gets an automatic extra star. I can’t wait to see where this series is going to go.

He wasn't looking for anything but a change in where he lives until Leah falls into his life. He immediately takes on his role of protector and friend in one chapter. He was a little bossy at times but not overbearing. I'm a sucker for a take charge guy. The storyline was rather simple and not a lot of drama. This is fine for me as I wasn't looking for anything more than that. There were a few obstacles that the couple faced but they were relatively small and were able to be handled quite easily.Review copy provided for a voluntary review.

Aurora Rose Reynolds has an unbelievably fast way of always sweeping me off my feet. I can lie and tell you I have no idea why, but the truth always lies within her alpha males. These men are hot, sweet, and a tad bit protective. This novel is also told from both Leah and Tyler’s point of view.Leah is sic Aurora Rose Reynolds has an unbelievably fast way of always sweeping me off my feet. I can lie and tell you I have no idea why, but the truth always lies within her alpha males. These men are hot, sweet, and a tad bit protective. They’re everything that dirty dreams are made of and Tyler just surpassed them all!About Catching Him:Catching Him is the first book in the How To Catch An Alpha series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This novel is also told from both Leah and Tyler’s point of view.Leah is sick of the dating scene, she’s sick of always doing the chasing and ending up broken and alone in the end. She wants to feel needed in a way that she’s never felt needed before. She wants a man to want to work for her time and her affection.Tyler is new to town and the last thing he expected was to wake up to a loud noise and find his neighbor sprawled on the floor beneath his guest bedroom window after sneaking in to get her intruding cat. Nor does he expect to feel an instant attraction to his new neighbor. But just from one look he realizes this woman is one that he’s going to have to work for. She’s different than the others. She’s everything he’s been searching for.Although they are happy, their about to come to the realization that there is someone else who isn’t too happy about their newly developed relationship and a little suspense gets thrown in the mix.My Thoughts:I’ve been needing a strong dose of Alpha Male in my reading lately, and as luck would have it, Aurora Rose Reynolds' book happened to be the next one on my tbr. So let’s start with how I felt about the characters.First up is the alpha in question, Mr. Tyler Duncan. Lately I haven’t been feeling much of an alpha vibe in what I’ve been reading. Sure they have alpha tendencies but more than most they just come across as assholes. So when I started reading Catching Him, I was honestly expecting him to be the asshole alpha that so many novels are writing about. Well, I’m so freaking happy that my expectations were all wrong! Tyler Duncan is sweet as pie, but you mess with this man or his loved ones and he can go from sweet to mean in a matter of milliseconds. He’s the perfect example of the alpha’s that I love in romance novels. And of course this man also has the sexy down to a T. So with the sexytude, the endearing charm, and his protective streak, I can safely say this man is in the running to be on my top ten alpha’s list.As for Leah. I was honestly surprised by Leah’s character. I loved the fact that she honestly gave a shit about the people around her and their happiness. She loves with her whole heart and isn’t afraid to step up and fight for those who need a helping hand. But beneath the surface this strong woman has insecurities as we all do. Once in awhile those insecurities show but she didn’t let them overtake her life and her relationship with Tyler. She fought through the bullshit and met him head on with a positive take and a smile. And trust me when I say, Tyler’s mama definitely brought the big guns out, and I don’t think I would have been as calm as she was during those dire moments. This woman is true, she lays it all out on the table and I found myself respecting her more and more with each page turned. The strong family vibes was one of my absolute favorite things about Catching Him. I loved how if one person was in a bad situation, they all stopped what they were doing and came running. There was so much love all around in this novel and it flowed effortlessly from person to person, and page to page.Don’t even get me started on Bruce and Mouse! Bruce is Tyler’s adorable dog who would rather sleep his time away near Leah that go with his own owner. And Mouse is Leah’s new kitten who’s favorite pastime is to hide and jump out at you when you least expect it. Bruce and Mouse definitely brought the laughter to this novel. I loved these two animals and their wild and crazy antics! Now onto why I rated this a 4 star instead of giving it a full five star rating. I found the suspense moments to be a tad bit predictable. It was to the point where I literally slapped my forehead and yelled who the suspect of interest was. I knew from the moment ___ came on the screen that ____ was a shifty person. I needed a little more secrecy on that front to not be able to know who the perp was.Overall, with everything aside regarding the suspenseful moment and my being able to easily pick apart the pieces and predict endings, I loved Catching HIm!! Aurora Rose Reynolds definitely knows how to write a romance worth reading! I was captivated from the start and enamoured through the end. I easily read this book in one sitting. Tyler and Leah’s story was just as steamy as it was sweet. I couldn’t get enough!!!________________Find me here:The Staircase ReaderInstagramFacebookTwitter

Aurora Rose Reynolds has done it again! She continues to deliver feel good romances that leave you swooning and drooling over her sexy alpha men. My favorite series by her has been and will always be The Until series and Catching Him has the elements I love from The Until Series making it an ultimate home run in my opinion. A Must Read for her fans!

Its pretty sweet read. I kinda was waiting for shoe to drop, but it didn't happened. So, there no big dramas. Okay, there is some things happening, but they didn't felt 'big'. And while, there was a 'villain', it was pretty obvious, who it was, and I was a bit annoyed, that neither, H or h, guessed it. I guess, I was up for light and fluffy read, because it didn't bothered me much.

This was a nice reading! I think the author did a great job and didn't leave unanswered questions or situations that didn't make sense! Which I liked it a lot and it was a great change since the last books from her left me with a mehhh feeling. The book had the usual recipe that this author use for her other books as well. But it was a sweet story!

Tyler is yum!So many stories about billionaires that it is always refreshing to just read about the average working man and woman. Tyler is a construction foreman and Leah owns a hair salon with her mother and grandmother. The dog, Bruce, stole the story.

4.5 StarsThis was my first time reading anything by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The reason I came across this author was when one of my Instagram followers mentioned this book and how much they liked it. So, I went and read the blurb and it automatically intrigued me. And I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy and I was so glad. I enjoyed this book and most of all, the characters.Leah and Tyler’s first meeting is not traditional to say the least, but it had me chuckling so much. I enjoyed this book and most of all, the characters.Leah and Tyler’s first meeting is not traditional to say the least, but it had me chuckling so much. And because of that encounter, it has Leah on Tyler’s radar. Tyler just moved in next to Leah, becoming her new neighbor. He’s the right amount of alpha and pure sweetness. He’s so protective and had me swooning nonstop. He was exactly the kind of man that Leah could use in her life. I adored Leah. She’s sassy and just so down to earth. Tyler and her together gave me so many feels. They made the best team, I loved them.Catching Him was feel-good goodness. Low on angst and high on laughs and feels. With a storyline and secondary characters I thoroughly enjoyed. Oh, and I can’t forget about Bruce, I absolutely loved that big dog, he was just as protective of Leah like Tyler was. I can’t wait for one of this series. And obviously it’s no surprise that I’ll be reading more from Ms. Reynolds, a new-to-me author that’s now definitely on my radar.*Thank you Netgalley for the ARC*

Tyler's possessiveness isn't really subtle, “Whatever. As long as you’re not seeing him again, I don’t give a eff what your reasons are.” I loved this book, I fell in love witj Tyler he was just all about his girl.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone needs to bring up someone's dating past!! UGH!!! Especially when it is a family member. But Tyler shut it down. I love when the H sees the h and he knows exactly what he wants and is willing to put in the time. I loved this couple and their relationship and the cute pets! I hope to get a story of her Best Friend and his sister.

Sigh. It has been a long time since I read a book with an Alpha in it and Tyler was all Alpha! Loved the way he wormed his way in and would not take no for an answer, Leah was great too - she had been burnt before and was set that the next time that the man would do the chasing and chase Tyler did. They were great together and the family and friends were all great characters. This book was swoony romantic, with great humour and a little mystery thrown in. I will certainly be reading the next boo Sigh. It has been a long time since I read a book with an Alpha in it and Tyler was all Alpha!
