Irresistible (Cloverleigh Farms, #1)
I’m a full-time single dad to three daughters and CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. I don’t have time to fall in love—I’m too busy trying to run a business, keep the red socks out of the white laundry, and get the damn pillowcases on without owing a dollar to the swear jar.Sure, Frannie Sawyer is beautiful and sweet, but she’s twenty-seven, the boss’s daughter, and my new part-time nanny—which means she’s completely off-limits. It’s bad enough I can’t stop fantasizing about her, what kind of jerk would I be if I acted on the impulse to kiss her?(Exactly the kind of jerk you’re thinking.)Actually, I’m worse than that—because I didn’t stop with a kiss, and now I can’t stay away. She makes me feel like myself again. She reminds me what it’s like to want something just for me. She’s everything I ever needed, but nothing I ever imagined.I’m a former Marine. I should have had the strength to resist her from the start. But I didn’t. And now I have to choose between the life I want and the life she deserves.Even if it means giving her up.

Click here to enter! ;) A sweet, single father romance who resists to admit that being with the one true love of his life will not be a regret for him, nor his family is what Melanie Harlow has created in this masterpiece of a novel... There is love in the air y'all! The kind of love that makes you swoon, and you end up having butterflies in your stomach because of all the passion there is between two characters such as Mack and Frannie. Melanie Harlow has been an author that I took a break from reading for a while, but now that I am back to reading her books, that same taste from before that includes and oozes sweetness and sexiness all in one package is exactly what I have been missing. This story was yet again, another compelling romance that Melanie is bringing to her readers. The way everything was described just warmed my heart in the best of ways. And of course, anyone who knows me, knows that I can never back away from a single father romance. This beauty was no exception, especially when an emotionally broken single father and his three little girls are involved.Mack and Frannie both work for the Cloverleigh Farms, which is a family owned type of hotel that oozes that sweet and relaxing ambience to it. It is owned by Frannie's parents, and is ruined by her family. Coming from the youngest of four, Frannie understands what it's like to be part of a big family. She has struggled at a young age from heart problems, so her parents have always been over-protective of her. When her passion of cooking arises, she knows that having an independence of her is a struggle because of her parents. Mack is added to the equation because he works for the family business as the CFO of the company. After the mother of his three little princesses left him to take all the responsibility of them, he has found in a place where is asks for help basically anywhere. Frannie is always happy to help him out, because the crush he has for him is one that has been there from the moment she first met him. From Mack's point of view, Frannie is way too young for him to indulge anything with her. Having that ten year difference is something that I find rather forbiddingly good and satisfying to always read. The relationship his three little kids have with Frannie is one that is utterly adorable! You know how when you come across those cute kids in romance novels and you question "why can't all kids be this way?" Yeah well, that was me reading this novel every time Mack's little girls where mentioned. Everything about them was just beyond charming and so sweet to read. Especially because Frannie has such an understand relationship with them, and with Mack as well. After one stormy and snow night in, Frannie has unintentionally brought herself to stay over at Mack's house after one babysitting night. The temptation is there for Mack. The attraction he has towards this petite, yet curvy young woman is what brings him to his knees to want her more and more. One he has a taste of her however, there is no back away. Though in his mind, he does not seem like the appropriate man to be hers for the rest of her life. He already has three little girls and a full time job that takes so much time of his daily activity, but with Frannie, he learns that having her help makes all the stress come to a free zone. The idea of her leaving is something that never sits well with him; "I watched her leave, feeling that ache in my chest again, and I wished there was a way I could've asked her to stay. I was tired of being careful, tired of missing her at night, tired of feeling bad for wanting her, tired of feeling like I was one person with her, and a different person with the kids. Neither version of me was complete.I wanted to be both at once. Wast it possible?" Overall this was truly a romance novel that shows so many affections towards each individual characters. Not just the important protagonists, but also the characters that are related to them. The love that oozes from this novel from all the families what something sweet and caring to read. Melanie has brought yet again, another that conquers the power of protection, love, and care for one another. Obviously this is the first novel in a series she is planning on releasing so you already know that my anticipation for the next novel is already up there. Thank you to SBPR and Melanie for providing a copy of this beauty, that I know all of you will truly enjoy and not regret reading.ARC kindly provided by the publicist, in exchange for an honest review...Follow Me On:Blog ♕ Instagram ♕ Facebook ♕ Twitter

When I end up loving both the Hero and Heroine equally I know that I’m reading an exceptionally good story. The author makes you fall for Mack and Frannie almost immediately. I felt a connection to them both and was waiting on pins and needles to get to their HEA! And I have to give honorable mention to Mack’s three little girls. They were the most adorable and precocious characters who added to the magic of this heartfelt romance! Great story. Terrific characters. Beautiful book cover! ’IRRESISTIBLE’ is the first full length romance novel in Melanie Harlow’s ‘CloverLeigh Farms' series. In this we meet Frannie Sawyer & Declan McAllister aka Mack. What a pathetic fucking cliche I was: Divorced Dad lusting after the Babysitter. As if a girl like her wanted anything to do with a guy like me-one with three kids and an ex-wife. Frannie is a twenty-seven year old female, her family owns Cloverleigh Farms, where she’s part time receptionist, and bakes delectable macarons, an ’IRRESISTIBLE’ is the first full length romance novel in Melanie Harlow’s ‘CloverLeigh Farms' series. In this we meet Frannie Sawyer & Declan McAllister aka Mack. What a pathetic fucking cliche I was: Divorced Dad lusting after the Babysitter. As if a girl like her wanted anything to do with a guy like me-one with three kids and an ex-wife. Frannie is a twenty-seven year old female, her family owns Cloverleigh Farms, where she’s part time receptionist, and bakes delectable macarons, and a nanny for Mack. Being the youngest of four siblings (Sylvia, April, Meg, Chloe) she’s been babied most of her life with an overprotective mother due to being born with a heart defect which puts her at a slighter higher risk of having a heart attack. Due to this she missed out on a lot as a child, in and out of hospital, home schooled and missed out on a lot of things her siblings got up to so she feels at a disadvantage and not as close to her siblings as she would like. Thirty seven year old divorcée Mack is a full time single dad to three adorable daughters (eleven year old Millie, eight year old Felicity, and four year old Winifred) and works for the family business as the CFO of the company making Frannie’s father his boss. If there was a girl off limits, it was Frannie Sawyer. These two have skirted around their attraction for each other for a while, but things go to that next level when after babysitting the girls she's stranded due to a snow blizzard and stays the night, things between Mack and Frannie escalated heatedly. I'm no prince, Frannie. I'm stubborn, I'm impatient, I have a foul mouth and a lot of fucking baggage. And I come attached to three small humans who run me ragged every day. I didn't think I'd love this one as much as I did, going by the synopsis, it just sounded too much like all the other single dad falls for the nanny books out on the market but that's not the case with this one, and for that I am so glad!! I loved this simply for it's no frills simplicity, you could see the scenes unfolding in life, this was just a straight forward, pure romance which made me love this fully. This is a lesson some authors need to learn, you don't need the angst or drama to make a good old fashioned love story come alive, and this is where this author is in a class of her own. I connected with the story, I connected with the characters. The storyline flowed freely, the feels were boundless, the characters were believable and loveable, what wasn't there to love about this!! Highly recommend!!* Teasers used are off the authors facebook page *

Have you ever read a book that from the very first page you had an immediate good feeling? Deep down you know that this one is going to have minimal drama, lovable characters, a splash of forbidden, and a feel good relatable storyline that makes you enjoy being in the moment. I couldn’t have asked for a better romantic story and I’m so glad that I took a chance on this one. Being a single dad is not the easiest thing in the world but being a single dad to three girls under the age of thirteen? Have you ever read a book that from the very first page you had an immediate good feeling? Deep down you know that this one is going to have minimal drama, lovable characters, a splash of forbidden, and a feel good relatable storyline that makes you enjoy being in the moment. I couldn’t have asked for a better romantic story and I’m so glad that I took a chance on this one. Being a single dad is not the easiest thing in the world but being a single dad to three girls under the age of thirteen? Someone needs to hand this man a medal. From hair braiding, to ballet class, to arguments over who's turn it is to pick a movie, Mack has seen and done it all for his girls. His entire lives purpose is to support and be there for his kids and everything else is going to take a back seat. Unfortunately that includes his love life. With temptation brewing in the form of his nanny and boss's daughter, will Mack be able to indulge with the woman he’s wanted for over a year? Frannie has always been sheltered throughout her entire childhood. Due to a scary heath condition, her parents has always treated her like she was made of glass and now that she’s a twenty seven year old woman, they still see her as breakable. Being the Nanny to three of most beautiful girls is one of the highlights of her life but having to see their Dad on a daily basis and not combust? Well that’s an everyday miracle that is quickly starting to lose it’s power. What will happen when these two decide to give in for one night only? I really loved the bond that Mack had with each of his daughters and it showed just how much he cared for all of them. He was protective, loving, vulnerable and hilariously animated. I couldn’t get enough of those girls and I loved that their personalities were strong forces in this story. It wasn’t easy at times and there was certainly a lot of screw ups, but every moment was a learning experience and they took it in stride. If you love a hot single dad romance , then I highly recommend this one.

As the CFO at Cloverleigh Farms he works hard to keep things running smoothly.Frannie Sawyer is the youngest of five sisters. Her family owns Cloverleigh Farms and she works as their receptionist. The highlight of her day is seeing Mack, the delicious single father who has worked for her family for the last five years. She's had a hopeless crush on him forever. After his wife left she became a part-time nanny to his kids. She admired his devotion to his girls, and thought it made him even more desirable. He was unbelievably hot, and she couldn't help how much she wanted him. Mack has spent the last nine months trying to survive being a parent on his own, and Frannie is always quick to help out. She's sweet, genuine, and gorgeous. She had an innocence about her, and had become his go-to fantasy. Lusting after the babysitter was his little secret. As the boss's daughter and his nanny, she was off-limits, but a guy could dream. He knew he could never act on his attraction, but then one kiss changes everything, and he can't stay away. It's an impossible, complicated situation. Mack's girls were his first priority. He was already stretched thin, without room for anything else. He was in no position to pursue anyone, and felt he had nothing to offer. He couldn't give his time, attention, or a future, and it wasn't fair to her, but he hadn't felt this way in a long time. She made him remember he's not just a dad, but also a man. She makes him feel like himself again, and he has trouble fighting their connection. He tried so hard to resist, but soon he's attached, and this thing between them is all-consuming. -Mack was just... everything.-I could hardly breathe when we were in a room together.-Something unfamiliar hummed in the air between us. I could feel it- he wanted me the way I wanted him.-She had no idea what she did to me.-She was that perfect combination of sexy and sweet- it drove me crazy in the best possible way. In another life, I'd have done everything possible to make her mine.-She wanted all of me. Accepted all of me. Even craved all of me. Irresistible (Cloverleigh #1) is a beautiful, sexy, single dad, second chance, forbidden romance where two lonely people find love. I really loved this book, and can't wait for more in this series! ***NOW AVAILABLE***https://amzn.to/2U5uYrv

Really liked it! Mack and Frannie are so amazing together. I loved that their relationship was real, with real problems, doubts and fears. This was such a refreshing take on your typical single dad-nanny romance. Being in a relationship with a single dad of 3 girls is not easy and I truly appreciate Melanie not glossing it over. Super sweet single dad romance!Frannie is the nanny to Mack’s three daughters, and also the youngest daughter of his boss. Both of them know that getting involved is probably not the best idea, but their electric attraction and the feelings they’ve been harboring for each other won’t let them stop what they started. I enjoyed this romance. Frannie is perfection. Mack is of course another good guy hero that just gets in his own way. That seems to be the Melanie Harlow standard, but I still liked Super sweet single dad romance!Frannie is the nanny to Mack’s three daughters, and also the youngest daughter of his boss. Title: Irresistible (Cloverleigh Farms #1)Author: Melanie HarlowLet me just start out by saying this: That blurb does not do the book justice. It's no secret that I'd read just about any book written by Melanie Harlow even if the book sounds almost like a cliché: Divorced Dad and a babysitter. *eye roll* right? From adorable interactions between Mack and his three daughters that just tugged at your heart's string to stolen moments between Mack and Frannie that just gave you butterflies in your tummy.Let's not forget the scorching hot scenes between these two freaking amazing characters that just leaves you gobsmacked because the intensity was just WOW!Mack is ....Yowza! *drooling*Just from the description in the book, he is HOT! He is also such an amazing dad. He might not always be the 'perfect' dad with his 'inabilty' to make the perfect ballet bun or with his weekend laundry disaster that turned all the whites into pink. But there is no doubt that mack is an amazing father. I think I love him more for that reason alone.Frannie is a stunner. She is a sweetheart and has the kindest, most patient soul. A beautiful combination, don't you think so?Irresistible is without a doubt an irresistible read! Actually, scratch that... Irresistible is a sexy and sweet book.It has the perfect balance that makes it warm, cozy and cuddly like Frannie's cloud blanket but also has super 'adult moments' that just leaves you wanting more. The chemistry between these two is so explosive. So Sexy. So good!Well Done Melanie! Another super awesome read!

I am all aboard that yummy train! Mack and Frannie's book was loaded with hot sexy times and heart-tugging moments. I adored that Mack was a single dad to three fantastic daughters who had all of his heart. Their daddy-daughter moments were so adorable and heartwarming. But when he starts relying on Frannie, his younger nanny (and boss' daughter)  he finds that avoiding his strong attraction to her is impossible. She made him wish for all the things he didn't have and all the things he missed in a partner. I loved that so much! While I enjoyed this book immensely, I found that there were some loose ends that were glossed over or somewhat rushed towards the end. As mentioned, their relationship was forbidden as she was his boss' daughter. That was a major source of conflict for them but we really didn't see that conflict resolved or namely any type of confrontation with Mack defending his love for Frannie. Overall, while this wasn't my favorite story from this author, she is an autoclick author for me as her stories are romantic and always swoony. 4 stars! ~Ratula***Who doesn’t love a bit of a forbidden romance? Seriously, fooling around with the boss’ daughter? Hooking up with the nanny? Usually makes for quite a sexy, swoony romance, right?Well, Irresistible has all that and more! You’re going to fall in love with Mack and Frannie, just like I did. Mack’s a single dad—just trying to make it through the day without totally screwing things up with his adorable daughters. They’re a handful between school, homework, dance classes, laundry, grocery shopping and everything else on top of his duties as CFO for Cloverleigh Farms, Mack can’t handle much more. And he definitely can’t handle the bubbling feelings he’s developed for the boss’ daughter, Frannie. She’s smart, fun, sexy, and great with his girls. And he knows she’d be just as great between the sheets, too. But she deserves more than a man who’s whole world is wrapped around his daughters, right?Frannie’s been trying to break free from the triple knotted apron stings her parents tied when she was a kid. And her attraction to Mack and finally doing something about it is just one thing she’s got on her bucket list. She’s amazed when she discovers her attraction is not unrequited. And when things move quickly with Mack, she quickly realizes she wants a future with him and his girls. But Mack’s not ready for more. He’s just keeping his head above water right now. How can he devote himself to another person when he’s barely making it with his daughters and work?Gah, I found myself struggling to not reach into my kindle and shake Mack to get him to realize he could have it all if he just stopped with the tunnel vision of what a successful relationship looks like. I would have loved more of a connection with Mack and Frannie—more intimacy. Sometimes I felt that there was more of a connection between Frannie and the girls than between the adults. But once Mack finally opened his eyes and his heart, along with quite a bit of assistance from his girls, he finally made his move. And it was so darn endearing! This is a good start to what could turn out to be a fantastic series. ~ Missy, 3.5 stars

Ah, I freaking love her country style romances and the fact that this novel is set in Michigan is also another plus for me! Mack is a single father of three little girls all under the age of twelve. Some days are rough, and some days he feels like he has no life outside of his daughters, but he wouldn't trade fatherhood for anything in the world. and given what the four of them went through with the girls' mother, he isn't about to let anything or anyone break the barrier that he has surrounding them. and that includes a sweet and sassy blonde.Frannie's life started on a rough note, being diagnosed and having three open heart surgeries before the age of ten set everything into motion. She's always felt isolated from her sisters, and she has her parents overprotectiveness to thank for that. Now though, Frannie is ready to stand her ground and work independently towards something that she wants for a change and that's to open a little bakery while still being a part time nanny for Mack's three girls.Frannie has been crushing hard on Mack from the moments she first set her sights on him, but given a ten year age gap, Mack never saw Frannie that way. Until now! Now Mack can't seem to get Frannie out of his head. He knows he can never pursue a relationship with her given their age difference, the fact that her father is his boss, and he has his three little girls to think about. But fate works in mysterious ways.My Thoughts:Irresistible by Melanie Harlow is a great start to the Cloverleigh Farms series. Not only is this novel sweet and sassy, but Harlow adds a touch of angst that had my heart splitting in two.My greatest weakness when reading a romance novel is when an author includes kids. Melanie Harlow gives us not one, but three sweet and sassy little girls. Honestly, every page there was either a smile on my face or, towards the end, a tear in my eye. I loved the scenes that involved Millie, Felicity, and Winifred! These scenes definitely made the novel that much more! One of my favorite things about this novel had to be watching, what I would imagine, a real life single father's day to day when it comes to raising three little girls. I loved the hardships and the moments where he lashed out for no apparent reason. Most times in romance novels these scenes are sugarcoated or are simply subtracted from the novel. Not everyday is a brady bunch episode. There are good days but more than most, there are days where the frustration levels are being tested and patience is wearing thin. I loved the fact that Melanie Harlow showed those moments. It added a dose of reality to the fiction.Overall, Irresistible by Melanie Harlow is spot on when it comes to experiencing all the feels! I couldn't get enough and I can't wait to continue on with this series. Find me here:The Staircase ReaderInstagramFacebookTwitter

It’s no big secret that I have a huge weakness when it comes to single parent romances. There’s just something about them that hits all the right spots and sucker punches me in the feels every single time. Irresistible wasn’t only sexy, fast-paced and incredibly heartfelt, but it was also absolutely one of those single dad stories that will leave your heart and soul so happy and full. Mack and Frannie will steal your heart, but Mack’s little girls will OWN you. “I worry about what will happen w It’s no big secret that I have a huge weakness when it comes to single parent romances. “I worry about what will happen when you realize I’m not worth all the shit you have to put up with.”“What do you think will happen?”“You’ll move on because you know you deserve better. And I’ll let you, because I’ll know it too.” I fell in love with Declan “Mack” MacAllister quick and hard. There wasn’t a single minute in this book where I didn’t feel his love and affection and devotion to his three very smart, sweet and adorable little girls. Being a single dad, I found it not only endearing to the bones, but vastly impressive that he was able to manage and balance being the CFO of Cloverleigh Farms and caring for his little humans at the same time. Yes, that’s eventually with the help of Frannie, but that’s still no easy feat. Just be ready to swoon your heart out and better hold on to your panties because once you meet Mack? All bets are off. Hands down, this man wins single dad of the year award. “You don’t need to be a badass. You don’t need to be anything other than what you are. And frankly, the world could use more people like you.” Frannie Sawyer was such a pure soul—she really was an angel, just like Mack claimed from the start. She’s one of the kindest, most loving and utterly selfless heroines I’ve read about. She may be the girls’ nanny, but she always treated them as more than just someone she had to take care of and look out for because it was her job. And she might’ve even pined for Mack for years, but the moment she had him, she never asked nor demanded for anything more than he can give. She understood so much more than he expected her to when it came to his situation, and she was happy with the speck of time and stolen moments they had. Anyone will definitely be beyond lucky to have this girl in their life. Frannie deserved someone who could put her first, someone at the same stage of life she was in, who had all the time and energy in the world to dedicate to making her happy. I was awake half the night wishing that someone could be me. Irresistible’s plot was as simple as it was straightforward—a conflict was still there with a little bit of angst, but it’s not the kind that will give you a heart attack or have you holding on for dear life. Although that’s the case, it will still leave you downright emotional. The kind that will have you choked up and on the verge of tears. Hell, I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve found myself having to pause and take a breath before I can go back and continue reading. I felt every single dilemma Mack was torn over deep in my bones and the struggle he experienced in the decisions he had to make. And with everything else thrown in the mix, my emotions just went haywire. “I’m no prince, Frannie. I’m stubborn, I’m impatient, I have a foul mouth and a lot of fucking baggage. And I come attached to three small humans who run me ragged every day. But I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone.” Honestly, this is the Melanie Harlow that I’ve been waiting for and missing recently. Don’t get me wrong, I adored the last few books she released and enjoyed reading them, but this one just had everything I wanted and more. Irresistible undoubtedly took the freaking cake for me and brought it home. The emotions were so intense and palpable, you’ll still feel the zing even long after you’re done reading it. The heart and heat were overflowing and leaping off the pages that it’s just impossible for you not to get hooked. Needless to say, this book truly is Irresistible in every sense of the word.Follow me on: Instagram • Facebook • Twitter

And once I laid eyes on the cover, I swear it was love at first sight. I knew I was going to be a goner and was anxiously counting down the minutes until I had Irresistible in my hands…Told from dual points of view, Irresistible follows the story of Mack and Frannie. Ever since Mack’s wife left him, he’s been slowly picking up the messy pieces of his life. His life is no longer all about him. He’s three little ones who depend on him and a career to worry about. He’s doing the best that he can, but is far from perfect. If it wasn’t for Frannie, Mack would be totally lost. She is a godsend and is exactly what he needs in his life. The only problem? Aside from being his part-time nanny, she’s his bosses daughter. She should be more than off-limits, but soon she will prove to be too hard to resist. The passion these two share is intense and the kind that is written in the stars. Mack wants nothing more than to have a life with Frannie and soon Mack will have to make a decision. Can he have the life he’s always wanted or will Frannie one day want more than he’s prepared to give?? You’ll just have to pick up Irresistible yourself and see how Frannie and Mack’s story ends….Irresistible is simply irresistible. Mack and Frannie’s story had me hooked from the moment I started reading their story. I found myself glued to the pages and was dying to see how their story would play out. I was hopelessly addicted.Mack and Frannie’s story was so frustratingly good with just the right amount of angst and drama that had my heartstrings tugging on overtime. Their story was one of friendship and passion. A story of love and doing the right thing. A story of taking risks and being willing to put your heart on the line no matter the costs.Frannie was the absolute perfect match for Mack. She was patient and understanding. She knew what she was getting herself into and was prepared for the long haul. She was honest and loving and seriously wiser beyond her years. And then there was Mack. He’s kind of gruff, swears a lot and is in no way perfect. He’s honest about his imperfections and knows that he’s going to screw up. But, you won’t find a more devoted man & father. He just has to find the courage to let go and go after what he wants in life. Together, these two were perfectly matched. The chemistry was instant and undeniable. The push and pull left me begging for more and I wanted nothing more than for these two to have a happily ever after.Irresistible put my heart through the paces in the best possible ways. I laughed. I swooned. I got frustrated one minute and was breathless the next. My heart was constantly filled with butterflies and I always had a smile on my face. What more could you ask for? Irresistible hit all the marks and I never wanted it to end. I loved getting to fall in love with Mack & Frannie and had a wonderful time getting lost in their love story…*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*

Well, because she just writes feel good, extremely honest stories depicting life’s circumstances and situations. She describes men that aren’t perfect, women that are strong, yet vulnerable and adorable children. Mack being a single parent of three little girls deals with so many "single dad" struggles, that at times I could not control my laughter. I loved that he tried to disguise his swearing, but the little ones caught him every-time! He tries to be the best parent he can be, despite his lack of confidence. But, his determination to make it right is just so endearing. He is sexy, and smart, but struggles with trying to multi-task all the daily chores, making lunches and trying to perfect his daughter's hair buns!Frannie! Oh what a beautiful soul and heart she has. She loves the girls and has a secret crush on Mack. In the beginning, she struggled with knowing she wanted Mack but feared it was not an option. Each chapter you read, stronger, reaching for her dreams knowing she can have it ALL. Each book of Ms. Harlows becomes a favorite of mine and this one is no exception. This story just full of happiness, heat, and charm all wrapped up amongst the pages.

I'll admit I have a slight addiction to this man. I coined the hashtag #MACKISMINE back when Only Love was being released. I can't help it. I'm a sucker for a sexy, sweet, single dad. OMG. Here is another author that I enjoy to read, writing a trope that I wouldn't usually expect from her and my brain is screaming "oh NO!!!!!!" I know that I shouldn't be so pessimistic but things haven't exactly worked out well for me lately in that regard. Case in point- Karina Halle's "Nothing Personal".I do hope that this turns out to be a good read but think I will wait for reviews first.

She should have a flashing neon sign sign that says Off Limits on her. And he really does try. But it just takes one night for passion to ignite, even if they have no clue where to go from there. And due to circumstances they are keeping everything between them a secret.Frannie may be ten years younger than him(she is still a mature twenty seven), but she is smart, mature, caring, kind, and lights up his day. But he feels like he can't give her all the time, effort, and future she deserves so is always on guard. There are ups and downs, push and pull, and emotional turmoil. It's the lure of wanting what he can't think he can have, but at the same time the thought of getting it is scary.I really admired Frannie's spirit and how understanding she was. And she was also pushing her own boundaries and trying to make changes in her life and follow her dreams. I liked Mack. He could go from sweet dad to dirty talking alpha in a moment's notice. I felt for him as a frazzled dad always feeling that he can't keep up. He did make me want to shake him a few times, but it was mostly when he was trying to be protective and just made questionable choices thinking he was doing the right thing. The story is told in dual points of view and I loved getting into their heads, especially Mack's. Fans of Melanie Harlow will recognize some familiar names and enjoy some cameos. I really like the setting of the inn and meeting her sisters Chloe and April who will be featured in upcoming books. His three girls were precocious and adorable, and I loved how they were a crucial part of the story. It's hot, sweet, fun, and full of feels. This book has a dash of reality alongside the romance and passion. It is real life with all it's craziness, awkwardness, stress, and daily demands. But it is also about finding that person that will stand by your side during the chaos and makes it better. I fell totally in love with this family. I would have liked to get a bit more of the aftermath, but I am looking forward to more in this series and seeing these characters again.I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. The single dad/nanny and age-gap romance tropes have always been favorites of mine, and I thought Melanie Harlow did a fantastic job with them in Irresistible. She created a fun and engaging plot filled with heart, heat, humor, and plenty of drama, angst, and sexy times to go around. While I really enjoyed everything from beginning to end, there were a few parts that weren’t quite to my liking and frustrated me. With that being said, I really enjoyed Mack and Frannie’s story and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series of standalones. The characters were fantastic. Harlow created lovable characters I couldn’t help but root for. Mack, Frannie, Mack’s daughters, and a few other characters completely stole my heart. Mack and Frannie weren’t perfect and had flaws like everyone, but I loved their personalities and red-hot chemistry together. I liked how most of their relationship progressed throughout, but there were some times I didn’t. I loved reading the book from Mack and Frannie’s point of view, and most of their banter and interactions with each other. Mack and Frannie’s journey was emotional and trying at times, but I was overjoyed with the conclusion to their love story.Irresistible was a sweet, sexy, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance filled with heart, heat, humor, and swoon-worthy romance! I don’t know about you, but there’s just something about a man and the way he cares for his children that make my heart happy. *sigh* I loved his relationship with his daughters, he would do anything for their happiness. It’s no walk in the park being a single parent, but Mack does everything he can to make sure his daughters are well taken care of. He’s such an amazing father and that alone had me falling completely in love with him.Frannie’s childhood wasn’t easy. And with her having health problems only made her parents, especially her mom shield her. Frannie always felt ignored by her older sisters, and thus made her feel alone. She has some understanding why she was treated the way she was even though she didn’t like it. Now older, Frannie’s working for her dad at Cloverleigh Farms. And there is where she’s also smitten with Mack, the CFO. It so happens she’s also his part-time nanny. So, with a few innocent glances here and there, would it really be that bad if something were to happen between them?Mack and Frannie were freaking everything. Despite Frannie being the boss’s daughter and younger than Mack they were every bit perfect for each other. Their chemistry was of the charts. They were scorching together, so hot. And don’t even get me started with Frannie’s relationship with Mack’s daughters, it was cuteness overload. Millie, Felicity and Winnie were so adorable, I just loved those girls. I couldn’t get enough of this story, and I just wanted more, more, more.Irresistible was a sweet, sexy, and yes, irresistible romance. I tried my best to pace myself because I didn’t want it to end. The start of this new series by Ms. Harlow is addicting and has me itching and craving the other books right this second. I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait.

This one had me doing everything from swooning and making my ovaries explode to being so frustrated that I wanted to reach out and Gibbs smack a certain someone numerous times all while enjoying every second of this sweet and smexy romance.I loved Mack going into this book. I mean, who doesn’t love a parent who puts his kids first and does everything they can to show that love? And lemme tell you, Mack is a great father and a good man. A really good man with a good heart, but dear lord his picture would be used as a description under the saying “weight of the world on his shoulders”. I understood why, but need to Gibbs smack him was strong.Frannie was a surprise, a very pleasant one, and I absolutely adored her. She’s sweet, compassionate and easy going. But what I truly adored about her was how she decided to take charge of her life in all ways. She saw where change was needed and, even when it was uncomfortable, she made the effort to do and say what was needed to make things happen and it showed how strong she really was.I enjoyed Mack and Frannie’s journey to their HEA, I did. It was all kinds of second chance at love/single parent/taboo-ish goodness, BUT it was also frustrating as all get out! I mean the numerous urges to knock some sense into a certain single dad was STRONG, but I still loved every second of it. While there were differences and hurdles to cross, they just flowed together, at least when they allowed it. Their banter was fun and the smexy was hot! As for the bump in the road. It wasn’t a surprise, though still frustrating, but I LOVED how it all worked out in the end.And then there are Mack’s three girls: Millie, Felicity & Winnie. These three were all kinds of awesome and I loved all the sweetness and chaos they brought to the story as a whole. This was a fun read and I’m so happy we get to spend more time with the Cloverleigh Farms crew and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!~ Copy provided by Social Butterfly PR & voluntarily reviewed ~

Irresistible by Melanie Harlow, is quite frankly, irresistible. Yes, I know that sounds all kinds of cliche, but it’s the truth! I adored this book, simply adored it. I fell in love with Mack and Frannie, and Mack’s daughters right from the get-go. This book gave me all the warm fuzzies.Mack is such a wonderful dad, everything he does is done with his girls in mind. Being a single father isn’t the easiest, especially without any close family nearby to help out. Thank goodness he has Frannie to r Irresistible by Melanie Harlow, is quite frankly, irresistible. Being a single father isn’t the easiest, especially without any close family nearby to help out. Thank goodness he has Frannie to rely on- although lately he’s begun thinking of her more than just his nanny or the boss’s daughter. And Frannie is more than happy with his change of heart! There are so many really wonderful moments in this book, between Frannie and Mack and Mack and his daughters, that gave this story so much feeling. It’s such a sweet, and sexy, story, with a bit of angst, a little frustration, and a whole lot of joy. Everything I’ve come to expect and love from Ms. Harlow.
