I have a lot going on in my personal life that's kind of taking all my attention and mental energy right now. So, even though this is going to be a horrifyingly shitty review, I just want to at least lay something down in this review space before I completely forget to do so. But enough excuses about me, let's talk about this book. I have been a Suzanne Wright fan from the very start. I have read this series from the very beginning, as they were released. As I've said before (and as you are probably sick of hearing me mention) I even own a copy of the original version of Feral Sins. You know, the one with the menage scene that was since edited out and removed from whence it came. I enjoyed it at the time, but I understand why it was taken out once Wright decided to make it into a series. But I digress. Dominic has been the flirty scene-stealer since book one and I know we have all been waiting for his book with breath bated. And it was a solid showing. As all we Wright fans know, Wright follows a fairly specific formula throughout all her Phoenix/Mercury Pack books. And we all know what that formula is. Some readers might be bothered this. They want original story-telling and yadda, yadda, yadda. But you know what I like?A sure thing. And every time I open a Wright book, I know I am going to enjoy the shit out of it. Something I also loved about this specific installment is that, in my opinion, Dominic stayed true to the characterization Wright cultivated for him over the course of the first seven books. Obviously, his cheesy lines became a little more...directed once he got involved with the heroine, but it was still very present. Something else I really liked about this book also is the fact that Dominic and Mila are not true mates. This is not a spoiler, by the way. It's stated in the blurb and alluded to immediately upon starting. I enjoyed the element of choice and the way life circumstances can affect our opinion of what may or may not be fated. Anysameshit, if this is the first review of mine on a book from this series and you haven't read some of the...discussion points I alluded to above, I'll just do you a solid and link some of those reviews below for those interested.I think fans of the series will be pleased with this installment. I am sad to see the end of The Phoenix Pack series (which Wright states this book represents in the author notes). But I look forward to more from The Mercury Pack and Dark in You series. My reviews for other books in this series:Book one: Feral SinsBook two: Wicked CravingsBook three: Carnal SecretsBook four: Dark InstinctsBook five: Savage UrgesBook six: Fierce ObsessionsBook seven: Wild Hunger

And who would have guessed that the adorable, cheesy goofball that is Dominic had more layers than a 10 layer chocolate cake?!Or that his mate would be a cutely vicious pallas cat?!I don't know why I thought that Dominic's book would be more lighthearted and cheesy. Maybe because he is the King of cheesy pick up lines and has throughout 7 books been the one to tease and infuriate his pack mates, the one that made them smile. So, when I got more layers than I expected I was literally ecstatic! He is not the one dimensional horny cheeseball we know but so much more. We saw so many sides of him in this book that his image has been forever changed in my mind. And I loved it! And to top it all off SW made him into an awesome dirty talker too! That was like the frosting on an already scrumptious cake. His chosen mate, a pallas cat shifter Mila Devereaux was the most subtle of perfect matches. Their compatibility and suitableness wasn't in your face but rather unfolded during the book. And despite me tending to like the true matches more, I can't deny that in this book SW made me love the imprinted couples so much more. Mila is part of the pallas cat pride we met in Madisyns book (Echoes of Fire, The Mercury Pack #4) and we got to see a lot more of them in this one. So much more that it really made me want a spin-off for them or the other side of her family, the Russian wolverines while I was reading. (And my wishes are getting fulfilled as we are getting an Olympus Pride spin-off according to her acknowledgements!) Their getting together wasn't instant and I loved that too. They both had issues and both had to chose to be with each other. And of course SW doesn't make it easy on either of them. Add a crazy fling and her delusional father from Dominic's past and Mila's true mate that has imprinted on someone else and everything takes on a dangerous edge.I think I'm running out of words to say how much I love this author and her storytelling. Her formula is fantastic and is always a winner for me. I cannot recommend her enough. From this series to her Dark In You series and Deep In Your Veins she has continually surprised and pleased me. I'm sad that we got to the end of the Phoenix Pack series but we got a lovely epilogue. Also I'm sure that I will love whatever she decides to write next. 8/6/19 How I love it when Suzanne Wright has these available on Read Now on NetGalley! ** ARC kindly provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review7/4/19 I cannot wait to read this! Even though the blurb doesn't make much sense to me.. But maybe that's the migraine talking. Already pre-ordered. I have no idea how long has this been on GR and I've only just noticed.

These people are all like family now ...if my family consisted of big bad broody alpha wolves that is :P Thankfully, Suzanne has stated at the end of this book, that we will be seeing all our favorites again. They will have cameos in the new and upcoming series `Olympus Pride`. And I also have "Shard of Frost" to look forward too and new books in the "Dark in You" series. So no time to be sad really !!As I have said, I have been a bit in love with Dominic since meeting him in "Feral Sins". I just knew that this incredible flirt would find an even more incredible mate ;) But....not a true mate. I liked that...a lot. We have had all sorts of mates in this series and most of them were "true" ones, but I am thankful that Dominic's story was different. They really made the decision to be together, without fate or whatever deciding for them. I mean Mila's true mate was right under her nose and she could have fought for him if she wanted to...but she didn't.She didn't want to be with someone who was in love with another, not even if they were technically "made for each other". She chose for herself and her choice was Dominic...This one was definitely another favorite of mine and I can't wait to read Elliot's story in Shard of Frost which is gonna be out about the same time this book is !!! I highly recommend this series and all the others by this author!! An ARC was provided to in exchange for an honest review

4 Dom Stars It's no secret that I love Suzanne Wright. She is one of my favorite authors. The Phoenix Pack was my favorite of all her series. Dominic stole my heart from book one with his corny pick up lines and playful charm. I was both excited and sad when I got Untamed Delights. Excited that I was finally getting Dom's HEA. Sad that it is the last book in the Phoenix Pack series. I don't want my favorite set of sexy badass shifters stories to stop. Though not my favorite in the series, I still really loved Untamed Delights. Dom was yummy and funny as always. I liked Mila a lot. They had off the wall sexual tension. I loved getting deeper with Dom and seeing new sides to him. I love the pallas cat shifters they are so crazy funny. Mila and Dom made a really cute couple. Seeing all the pack mates again and the kids melted my heart. It sometimes amazes me how attached I can become to a series. Reading this book made me want to go back and reread the whole series. I really loved Mila's family. Both sides were funny as hell. and I hope her brother Alex gets a book in the new spin off. I think one of my favorite parts in the whole book was the other males giving Dom a little pay back for all the flirting he did with their mates over the years. Overall a really good ending to a much loved series. https://jessicasoverthetopbookobsessi...

There's one thing Suzanne Wright nails every single time and that's her characters. This book being a case in point. I have a tendency to devour her books only coming up for air when I reach the final pages.I know many readers have probably wondered how she would portray Dominic's story in this, the last of the Phoenix Pack series and she totally nailed it IMO. So true to character.Dominic has directed many cheesy pick-up lines towards the female love interests of his male pack-mates over the last seven books so it is no surprise to find out here that they are all more than happy to return the favor once he becomes involved with Mila (a cat shifter and hands down one of SW's best female characters ever- absolutely adored her). The fact that they weren't true mates only made their relationship more special in my opinion and I really loved them together. Sigh!!!Though Suzannes Wright's books do tend to follow a set and distinct formula storywise which I also personally enjoy, I really felt that the relationship between these two was the shining star here and the action took a little bit more of a backseat for me. I would definitely be a lot sadder about this final Phoenix Pack story if Suzanne didn't have another wolf shifter series that she is still currently adding on to (The Mercury Pack) plus there is also going to be another "Dark in You" series release in July. Yippee!!! I totally see rereads in my future though.

There was also a lot of action going on in the story that had me on the edge of my seat. I was constantly questioning what was going to happen and I had no clue who was behind everything. Which I loved since I always think the best books are the ones that can keep be guessing. One of the things I enjoy the most from this series is how the Pack comes together to solve whatever problem is currently happening, and in this book we had the bonus of also seeing that with Mila's family, the Olympus Pride. Getting to see more of those characters has me excited to see what Ms. Wright is planning for their own series.ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.

After turning it over and over again in my head to try to settle my thoughts, I’m still a bit conflicted over it. I loved Dominic in the first half of the book. He was the same flirty, outrageous goofball that we’ve seen throughout the series. He instantly falls for Mila and sets out to woo her. Doesn’t matter that Mila does everything she can think of to dissuade him, Dominic pursues her single-mindedly and I expected nothing less from a Phoenix Pack member. The second half? Not so much. His trademark humor does make a comeback towards the end but his easy going attitude kind of got lost somewhere in the middle.Mila on the other hand was a bit hard to warm up too. Mila is conflicted because she has met her destined mate (not Dominic) and she and her cat are pissed and hurt because this OM has already fallen in love and imprinted someone else. She doesn’t see a random hook up with Dom as something to look forward too. She’s been burned badly by the one guy made for her and she doesn’t really know where to go from there. And that’s kind of where the story starts to unravel for me. It was hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that fated mates are not all that special since people are imprinting with others, left and right in this book. I felt like the majority of their love story is them desperately trying to convince themselves that not waiting for their fated mate and instead living in the moment and imprinting with someone else was going to be enough. Maybe it was hard because for a big part of this series, we’ve seen how great and irrevocably strong/special a true fated mating is, that this relationship just felt off. Or maybe it was the really sad feeling I got every time the consequences of Adele and Joel’s imprinting left on everyone else that made this book such a downer for me.(view spoiler)[ Adele (Mila’s cousin) imprinted with Joel (Mila’s true fated mated) They sort of screw Mila out of her fated mate (Joel), Adele’s predestined mate (Dean) and ultimately, Dominic out of his predestined mate (unknown and apparently not important?) That’s a lot of could-have-been’s (and for a fan of the whole fated mates trope) a lot more angst than I was expecting in a paranormal romance. Not really what I signed up for . . . (hide spoiler)]Throw in a bunch of outside drama with a few jealous exes, assassins, and extremists and I was really tempted to start skimming just to get it over with. The debate over fated mates vs choosing for yourself left me underwhelmed, sadly. This is never a good sign when reading a book I’ve been waiting so long to read. Bottom line, it was a good story but it felt like way too much was jammed together and none of it was really all that interesting. I gave it an extra star because if nothing else, stick around for one of the cutest epilogues ever! The whole gang is back and you literally get to see everyone! It was probably my favorite part of the book! An adorable way to end the series.* * * ARC provided for an honest review * * *I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. SAFETY INFO: (view spoiler)[Ages : None disclosed.Cheating : It’s hard to say. I felt like the author tried to re-write the rules when it comes to fated mates and it had way too many gray areas for me. I personally feel like Joel and Adele showed signs of emotional cheating if nothing else. They both were drawn to their real fated mates even while professing their love for each other. The fact that Joel (not sensing Mila was his) moved to be closer to her (subconsciously) for her was a huge red flag for me. And again I’m not convinced that imprinting can be just as meaningful as a true fated mate bond. Then there’s Adele, she saw firsthand what a) seeing Joel acting protective and overly concerned for Mila made her feel – hurt, insecure, jealous - and b) saw what her imprinting on OM did to her own predestined mate – literally drove him mad! OM/OW drama : Yes to both. We get drama over Dominic’s manwhore past with crazy jealous exes coming out of the woodwork and then we get the whole Mila-Joel-Adele-Dominic square going on.Separation : There was a small one of two weeks where they were physically separated to keep Mila safe but I wouldn’t count it as an official separation since they were still together as a couple at this point. Push/Pull: Mainly from Mila but Dominic also has some trust issues to work through. Main Pursuer of relationship : Dominic 100%Possible Triggers : None that I can think of besides the obvious mentioned above.HEA/HFN: Ends on a HEA and an epic epilogue, 8 years later. HINT: Babies! Anyway, from what I do remember of the previous reads, I had some reservations about Dominic's character since he was such a huge flirt and the ladies sure did love him (and still do in this book). But turns out that my prejudice was just that. In the end I fell in love with his unique humor and how he deep down was actually a great guy. He just needed the right woman or better said the right pallas cat to make him overcome his insecurities. And don't even get me started on Mila's character. She truly is awesome. She's the most no bullshit and down to earth character I've read in a long while. That is until you try to cross her, then she's the devil cat incarnate, which btw I'm all down for. I mean, if someone had to go through so much stuff as she did, you bet I'd be so angry not even the pope could save me. At times it even felt like I was reading a Game of Thrones episode, so much treachery... But in the end, I loved it all. Even the crazy exes didn't bother me, not in the slightest. Save to say they all got what the deserved, ha! It always feels great when you know that you can count on the author to do right by the characters and essentially by the reader. So, can I say that I liked and enjoyed the story? Sure can! I even think that this one, apart from the first book, is my favourite story of this series. Everything just fits. And on that note, if you read the previous books in this series and aren't sure about this one, then I would highly recommend you read it. Bacause it's amazing and I'm sure you won't be regreting it.

Legit, the main reason I read shifter/werewolf romances is because I love the idea of there being a soul-mate, someone who is your second half and it's what I used to love about her books too. But these last few books have been so frustrating for me because suddenly the author wants it to be about not being with your one true mate, and with this one she knows who he is but decides she's going to give him up and not bother which...makes zero sense. If the author's going to keep going in this path, I'm probably going to stop reading these books. I didn't feel connected to Dominic and Mila's romance at all. Yes the sex scenes are hot but I didn't believe they were perfect for each other. I feel like they were so interchangeable, meaning I didn't see or understand what really made Dominic perfect for Mila and vice versa. It could've been anyone switched into their roles and I wouldn't have even noticed or made a difference. Also, this book just felt so boring and drawn out. It certainly didn't need to be as long as it was. I had to start skimming in the end because I just couldn't get though more details about this drawn out "who's trying to kill Mila" sub-plot. The epilogue was cute but honestly there are so many damn kids that I couldn't even keep up with who was who's kid and whatnot. I'm also curious to when this new werewolf series will take place, before or after the epilogue since the epilogue takes place almost 10 years in the future. I'm happy this series is over and while this definitely isn't a favorite for me, I'll still hold most of these books close to my heart. *Arc given in exchange for an honest review.

Dominik “Lothario” Black his second name says it all really. He has his reasons and he never led the women on he was always straight up front about everything. But sometimes for me personally it was hard to read about all his conquests. He is the last wolf standing in the Phoenix Pack. Good thing Mila is so sure about herself and has good self-confidence. I also really liked Dominik there is a darker side to him but sometimes I wasn’t always on board with his opinions and attitude. He can charm a nun out of her habit. He is the master of every situation and strong and for me an alpha-hole. These two sure do have chemistry and at the beginning I felt that was all they had. Mila sure did make him work for it though so there is that. I think these two did suit one another. SW never writes boring plots and it always unique, entertaining and like being part of a family. Here once again it was no different. The pace was perfect in this one so no complaints from me there. In the end I can say that this series has had great development it never felt stagnate in any way or form. A must read for every single book. So if you haven’t started the series you are missing out. The last book in the Mercury Pack shall be out this year and then the next Dark in You. What else are you going to bring us SW?If you want to know what these two are together than read the spoiler(view spoiler)[Mila has already found her true/predestined mate but he has imprinted on another woman. Mila and Dominik also imprint on one another and you know what that didn’t bother me at all. They can’t all be true mates (hide spoiler)]

This is one of the best books of the series! Dom and Mila are perfect together. I liked how the previous couples were in the story a lot. The plot was great and the ending was even better. That epilogue was everything the previous couples we got see where they were and Dom/Mila also. Over all amazing book.

With this story it’s time to bid a last farewell to the Phoenix Pack that I have followed since the beginning. There’s been changes galore, new Pack members and even new alliances but throughout I could count in two things, firstly Greta will never think any female is good enough for her boys and second that Dominic could be relied on for truly abysmal cheesy lines ! So this book was a total surprise as there’s a whole new side to Dominic that the author explores with insight into just why he’s so carefree and seeing him finally grow enough to trust that Mila could and would totally one hundred percent commit to him was a bittersweet and much needed moment. For this big strong Wolf to have feared he would never be enough to find what he needed was a fabulous way to end this series. Now I mentioned Mila and she’s not exactly a run of the mill character. She has issues with truly annoying relatives but even more shocking is the fact that her Fated Mate doesn’t want her ! I cannot say more but this story stretches the idea of what is destined and just whether or not free will can change things. Add in the anti Shifter movement that creates problems here and you would expect that the author can rest on her laurels but no because there’s more treachery and deceit at work with attack’s you would never expect and a twist that allows these Predators to show just how bloodthirsty they really are. I can honestly say that the final third of this story was so intense I didn’t want to put it down and sleep. Plus there’s an epilogue that just made me smile although if it’s hot and heavy romance you seek then trust me when I say Dominic is not one to take no for an answer! Definitely much more dominant than I ever expected but that’s what I love about this series because every time I get surprised. This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

While I did love this book I was disappointed in the amount of telling vs showing. I’m not used to Suzanne Wright books being not detailed like that. I love that Dominic found someone like Mila, but I was bothered by how the pack continued to treat Dominic despite knowing in part pieces of the real him. I completely understood exactly why Dominic felt the way he did about mates and such. Honestly though I kept hoping that Mila and Dominic were true mates, but on the flip side Dominic ends up loving the relationship as it is. I loved seeing Dominic come out of his shell but also be possessive. Allowing someone to become important to him.Overall this was a great book, but I find myself still wanting more time with the packs! I hope there will still be more. I tried my hardest to read this book as slow as possible because I did not want this series to end. Absolutely loved the epilogue even though it signalled the end of one of my favourite series. Looking forward to my next Suzanne Wright book! ARC Provided By NetGalley For An Honest Review

What made this book even more anticipated is that it is Dominic’s book, and everyone has been wondering from the first book who could keep up with this smooth, hilarious wolf. Well the answer to that question is the fiesty Pallas cat, Mila. She’s stubborn enough not to give into him because let’s face it, he’s perfection, but also witty enough to keep up with his quips. “Why are you looking so down, Mila? Let me guess—it hurt when you fell from heaven, right?” “No. But hauling my ass out of hell was a bastard of a climb.”Mila is struggling with what to do now when her true mate imprints on another. So we get to see the ins and outs of her cat handling that betrayal and if she’s willing to let a player like Dominic into her life after already being hurt. And let me just say that I love Mila’s family! I might be as crazy as Dominic but I want to hang out with them every day! I’ve always loved Dominic. Funny guys are my thing. Like it’s cool if they’re hot or tough or whatever, but don’t even think about it if you can’t make me laugh. So basically Dominic. But whatevs. We definitely get more of that Dominic we all know and love.“Roses are red, and so are other flowers. Take off your panties, I just need a few hours.”However, what I absolutely loved the most about this book is that we finally get to see his vulnerable side and maybe a little bit of what he’s trying to hide with that humor. When trouble finds Mila, Dominic is faced with a choice he’s never had to make before. “I’ve never needed anyone, Mila. No one has ever mattered to me the way you do.”

Throughout all the books he has been a comic relief character with corny lines and always happy to bounce from woman to woman with no interest in anything long term. We find out so much about his character that was never even hinted at before, for reasons that make sense, and I loved how his story played out. We get all the characters from the Phoenix Pack that we know and love plus more characters are introduced that I believe will be in a later series. I really enjoyed how this book was so different from the others. All the enforcers have found love in different ways and Dominic is no different. When he meets Mila he thinks at first it will be his usual one night stand deal. When she quickly turns him down he has to re-evaluate his plan. It was a lot of fun to watch them circle each other before they finally get together. There is a lot of time spent with the characters, building their relationship and growing together. They each are fighting their own demons and have to lean on each other a bit. Overall I was not disappointed in this series conclusion. I am looking forward to reading more in this world with new shifters.

Suzanne Wright has done it again folks! If you were worried that perhaps Dominic’s story wouldn’t be as powerful as some of the others strictly because you’ve been waiting for his HEA for so long and have watched him behave like a shameless flirt and player throughout allllll of the other books.... fear not! Suzanne delivered what for me rivalled Marcus and Dante’s stories (which we my favourites. Obviously Trey and Taryn still lead that pack by a landslide but come on... there’s no way you can beat a man like Trey lol). In this book we finally get to delve in to what makes Dominic tick and his reasons for being such a relationship-phobe while entertaining tons and tons of women for one-night-stands only. And we meet Mila - a half Russian pallas cat shifter just home from yet another visit to Russia where her mother is from (Who is a wolverine shifter). She works at the family barber shop by day and sings at the velvet lounge on Friday nights (owned by the mercury pack). She’s also kind of dejected because she has to share her pack with her one true mate who has imprinted on her cousin. Her mate has no idea that Mila was made for him and is blissfully in love with another woman but can’t help but always want to be around Mila, and Mila can’t take the close proximity anymore so she is set to enter and arranged mating with someone in Russia. Which means she is also moving despite no one wanting her to go.One night, as she’s singing, Dominic notices her. Like really notices her. And he’s attracted. But she knows his reputation and wants nothing to do with that. Of course Dominic isn’t deterred and begins to pursue her. But Mila sticks to her guns, not wanting to be a notch on his bedpost. Plus there are a lot of outside characters that are trying to discourage Mila or keep Dominic away. There is also a side story with a human woman that causes a lot of heartache for Dominic and her issues and the revenge her father embarks on becomes a major plot line. Now despite Mila getting ready to move, and Dominic’s deep rooted issues that only let him do no strong hookups, they can’t help the attraction. And Dominic surprises himself by how much he wants her, how much she makes him lose control and how much he wants to possess her. They chemistry is ELECTRIC. My kindle was burning up reading those sex scenes and I was riveted and getting all heated up at the same time! They were sooooo good together and Mila was opposite enough from Dominic that they truly meshed. She called him out on his shit and made him own up to his decisions. Now, they aren’t true mates. Which of course can be an issue. But these two can’t stay apart and quickly know that they want more. For Dominic, it totally takes him by surprise but honestly, he never really wavers once he makes that decision and his fierce devotion to Mila and the way they get close and as we watch the dance of imprinting begin, it’s simply amazing. There is a significant side story where Mila finds herself with a bounty on her head and keeps having near misses with death. This of course ignites Dominic’s protective instincts even more. And that epic battle at the end? Amazing! We get to see basically all the mercury pack and in this book we spent lots of time with the whole Phoenix pack. It was incredible and nostalgic and although this book ends on a high for me, I wish there were more wolves who could get a story lol. then, at the end of this book, Suzanne says she’ll be starting a new series on the Olympus pack! (The pallas cat pack) and that the Phoenix people will have cameos in that series!! So YAY!!!!! I can’t wait for more!!!!!Love love loved this book. Thank you Suzanne for such an amazing series.

Que .. my crazy ramblings ass thoughts. I apologise in advance for the mess that is me and my half (maybe a quarter) functioning brain. This review is about to make not a lick of sense. How bittersweet. Seriously it hurts my soul to know this series is done. Seriously it hurts my soul to know this series is done. Yes I know there is more to come and this won't be the last we see of the them all however as a dedicated as fuck fan since the beginning of time when the original Feral Sins book was released (you know what I'm talking about)... it's bittersweet that we have finally reached the end of an era. I'm so glad it was Dominic who seen us through the final chapter of the Phoenix pack. He has since the beginning of time held us in his cusp with his flirty sweetness and outrageous pick up lines. But we knew that under the surface there was more to him. For his story to be the last just sat right with me. It wraps it all up kindly and if it's even possible.. with a better understanding of what is to be someone's mate. Mila could not have been anymore perfect for Dominic and the same is said for him to her. They balanced eachother completely. She is a delicious character. The kind that has all kinds of layers with so much depth to her personality. Solid in her mind she was comfortable in who she was, had her emotions in check and understood herself completely. It was a pleasure to read her story. I mean her personal story!. The growth of her as a character and how she dealt with the path in life she was given. I appreciate that she didn't bow down to the panty melting charm he displayed. I also love that she didn't string it out unnecessarily either. She was realistic, adaptable and easy to connect to. The chemistry between them is fire from the start but their romance is a slow burn. They don't play about but it is sort of a game of cat and mouse. The reality of their mating is based on emotions not fate. Although maybe somehow fate decided to throw a curveball in for them two. It's a choice for them and when it comes down to it and their relationship that is what's important. It's not that they are made for eachother. It's that they want it so much they'll sacrifice anything to have one another. This one gets right into the feels and takes a slightly different path to most of the other stories in this series. I really enjoyed that this dares you to question the whole process. It's tests your beliefs on mating and really what ment to be.As a far as characters go Suzanne is one of the best. Truly, At giving us phenomenal characters that have substance. Not just fillers to pass the time. Characters that you can dig your claws into. The relationships between them is natural and that really transcends through to me as a reader. The easy relationships, the banter and bickering. Some crazy outrageous shenanigans and a whole lota love. It's a family. Dysfunctional , absofuckinglutely. But you feel the bonds between them all which only serves to make this story so much more. It's part of the reason why I love them all. You're getting action, suspense, romance, relationships, sweet, sinfully sensual, heartbreak and humour. It's a freaking rollercoaster of emotions. The story is written seamlessly with great character building and plot development. It has a little of everything's to keep you on your toes whilst still maintaining that signature Suzanne stamp that we all love so much. High 5 for sharp wit, hilarious banter, dirty greatness and action. She does that shit so well. So reaching the end of this chapter I feel a little sad. Not because of the book because I knew in my bones that it would be great no matter what. And it is. It's fucking brilliant. But it's sad because I love these characters and all of their journeys. I feel like this book wrapped it all up in a neat little bow and gave us a happy ever after that I wasn't ready for. I'm a greedy bitch and wanted MORE. I feel like I'm mourning a death that nobody died. I'm dramatic I know but seriously this book fucking rocked and I'm gutted to see it's the end. Even if it's not the end of seeing them. I'm hella excited for the new series Olympus Pride and I just know this with be equally great in its own right. Also the possibilities for the nex gen of the Phoenix Pack?., is that going to be a thing?. Please let it be a thing!.Exciting times ahead here.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!I have read every book in this series and am sad to see it end but I will say the author definitely went out with a bang. The characters felt genuine, the dialogue was her usual blend of witty and emotional and the complicated back story of both leads made for a very rich read. This is the one PNR series that I recommend to everybody because even though it's about werewolves and other super natural creatures - ultimately it's about friendship and love. Dominic is always trying to placate his woman, “I respect that you’re a highly dominant female, baby—” Dominic is just quite protective of his woman, "Dominic’s nostrils flared. “Mila’s not a effing option for him.” Mila put her hand on Dominic’s thigh." I loved this book, dominic's story has been a long time coming for me and the man didn't dissapoint.

Sigh, I love Suzanne Wright. I honestly have not read anything of hers I did not love. And boy, have I been waiting for Dominic's book. I really, really loved it. This book was the culmination of the Phoenix Pack's story, the last enforcer to find his lady love.I think we all had a huge soft spot for the crazy, outlandishly, cheesy one-liner that is Dominic. It was so good to see the man behind 'the lines'. I was also good to see him finally want to work for something. Dominic was always painted Sigh, I love Suzanne Wright. It was so good to see the man behind 'the lines'. I was also good to see him finally want to work for something. Dominic was always painted as the easy-going, carefree guy that courted his own death by shamelessly flirting with all his friends' mates. In this installment, you finally get to see more of him, see why he is the way he is, and why he acts the way he does. And refreshingly, he doesn't change who he is once we do see more.Mila is a smokey-voiced Pallas cat shifter who is also part wolverine. I mean, that's almost as badass as being a damn honey badger, lol. Mila works as a barber by day and lounge singer by hobby on weekends. She is so different from who Dominic usually goes for but her voice and stage presence really resonates with Dom.Mila is suffering because she found her one true mate just as he was beginning to imprint with another. She recognized that he was happy and in love and forced herself to let him go. But her cat cannot forgive. To make matters worse, the happy couple decided to join her pack and the male has inadvertently sought her out, in a friendship platonic sort of way. Mila wants to do the right thing and let him be happy, but her cat wants to scratch his eyes out every time she sees him. Mila's solution was to visit her mother's pack from Russia and have an arranged mating. Then enters Dominic and throws her world upside down. And, oh boy, this story doesn't end there. Dominic has his own past that keeps trying to come for him as well. The mystery is layered but plays out wonderfully. I really enjoyed that this did not all occur in 1 week but over a good amount of time. Can I just say, I loved Mila's family? Her Dad cracked me up! The secondary characters were great. We were introduced to another pack and get to see the Pallas cats again. The Phoenix pack and some of the Mercury pack show, we get an update with who has pups or kits, and how everyone is. Dominic also gets some really good advice from those that went before him, which I found surprising. I really thought they'd let him dangle more. But in all honesty, I find it more endearing that they didn't because it shows what a true family they all are. This book wonderfully rounded out the series and is an absolute must-read.This was an ARC generously provided by NetGalley.
