Co-writers Leia Stone and Lucía Ashta, have created a wonderful second book in the Supernatural Bounty Hunters series. There’s a lot more sexy times, emotion, battles and kitsune tails in this book. Overall it’s action packed from start to finish, with Evie never stopping for a moment. I highly recommend Magic Sight, and I’m looking forward to the third book - Magic Touch.

Nope.Since these books are so short - 200 pages - and free on Kindle Unlimited, I gave it two books to see if it got its shit together. But no. The heroine is a grade-A dumbass, a snarky moron who leaps into every situation without thinking, and has to get her dumb ass bailed out. If she's got the fate of the world in her hands, then the world needs to end. Now.The pacing of this book is ludicrous. I like a fast-paced book, but that's not what this is. A problem is introduced, and dealt with, in about 2 hours, and there are 6 major problems that come up and are ended on every given day. Nothing has buildup or weight to it, and I care about all of it as little as the heroine does.It became unintentionally hilarious by the end, watching her epic stupidity, the repetitive (really, really repetitive) empty alpha snarling of Brock (if he snarled "You're pregnant!" less than 10 times in the 200 pages of this book, I'd be stunned), and the bumble-fuck way they staggered through every meaningless encounter. And then the heroine worrying about moving too fast in her relationship with Brock ... looooooooooooool. Everything about their behavior was "fated mates" even if the book didn't call it that. They met and were essentially mated within moments, and she was insta-pregnant. She was under his care within what, 2 days of meeting him? They professed their love within, what, a week? And when he wants her to move in, THEN she worries they are moving too fast? I laughed so hard I spit my coffee out. This shit is terrible. I hope it isn't a sign of the quality I'll find in my brand-new Kindle Unlimited subscription, but I'm definitely concerned.

Did not take a point off for a cliffhanger as I usually do as this is labelled Series in the title. These are pleasant enough, but it is a SERIAL where you’re reading chapters of one story for each book. There’s a good bit of ‘on page’ sex in this series.

This was really tough to rate....While I liked this book, I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first..While Evie is a strong and independent character, which I really like; she also has a habit of just running into things head on without actually thinking or planning, and sometimes loses track of what she should be focusing on in dangerous situations - and for me it bordered on the too stupid to live line (which is a pet peeve of mine), especially when she's pregnant. While there was a lot that This was really tough to rate....While I liked this book, I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first..While Evie is a strong and independent character, which I really like; she also has a habit of just running into things head on without actually thinking or planning, and sometimes loses track of what she should be focusing on in dangerous situations - and for me it bordered on the too stupid to live line (which is a pet peeve of mine), especially when she's pregnant. While there was a lot that happened in this book, and a lot of action; it didn't really seem as if the story progressed much. Where the ended up at the end of the book didn't seem far from where they started...I do love the friendship between Evie and Cas, and really liking the chemistry and relationship between Evie and Brock. Cas and Tianna were an interesting addition and am curious to see whether things develop with Molly and the two warriors.

This second book was just as fun and an exciting read as the first book was. We got to see Brock & Evie's relationship develop more in this book. We also got to see more of Cass and Evie's close friendship and I love the way they are with each other, in fact I love Cass, he's a great character. Very entertaining. It's amazing what a person can do when they have to. You really don't get to call time out just because you're "with child" or "with puppy" as the case may be here. Loving these charactersAs this story progresses the characters have become much more developed and lovable. Molly is one of my favorite characters and I hope one day we get a closer look at her. Cass and Evie are adorable together. The progression of the plot is just right; keeps you on the edge but doesn't give away too much too soon. The flow of the story is so fluid it does not feel like two people were writing it at all. My only complaint was all the "baby momma/baby daddy" stuff, but I hate Loving these charactersAs this story progresses the characters have become much more developed and lovable. A fun and reliably entertaining second in series. Especially with a kick butt female character! I just wish the third one was out! The author does a amazing job of ending the book on just enough cliff hanger. Not a complete drop, but enough for you to be excited to devour the next book! Can't wait for the next book! Absolutely love all the character's!

The supernaturalness is amazeballz! Thankfully there is less sex, but sadly the baby daddy/baby momma descriptor is annoying. The language is a little . . . young? But the story/storyline carries me through. It is well written, and I am anxious for the next book.I love learning more about the characters, and seeing them grow together.I thought the ending of book one was horrible. This one is even worse. Evie, the Kitsune shifter, is trying to close the gate to the Underworld. There's just one problem. The siren, Calista, and her sisters want to open it. After a particularly brutal fight, her katana is shattered, making it unusable. Will they be able to mend it before the Akuma, a kitsune's enemy, find them?An interesting read.

I also wish I had an awesome sidekick like she does. And Brock – definitely my new book boyfriend – who doesn’t want a big, sexy Alpha as their mate.
