It would have been perfect except for one thing, and that one thing is it has no sex. I mean the characters do have sex, but the author doesn’t write it in. Look, I don’t need sex in books, I read YA and I read slow burn books, but it’s a pet peeve of mine when characters have sex and it’s not written in. I love that it’s dialogue based and it’s easy to read. I read the first half of the book while my son took his nap. I was in an odd mood funk and this book totally took me out of it.I really like the personality of the Heroine. She’s quirky, funny and the book is 100% rom-com. The hero of the book is adorable too. I kind of wished he was a little more alpha, but it’s not that type of book and it’s okay.Overall, it’s a cute read. I just couldn’t stomach reading a book where the sex scenes are glossed over.

This book was good! I have nothing bad to say but I also won’t be thinking about it anymore after today. But I’m also glad I read it. Sometimes you need a breather after reading dark or emotional books and this book was exactly that. It was funny and I loved the characters! Good, fun, light read!

Hilarious Tale of the Every Day WomanI devoured this book. Like, obsessively stayed up all night just so I could finish it. Sibby could be the mascot for awkward, unlucky women worldwide. I am hoping we get to know them better in the second book. Or maybe I'll get really lucky and some will get their own books. At its core, this is a story about finding love, but don't expect down and dirty scenes like in other books. This book stays firmly in the PG-13 category. Honestly it's the only thing that really disappointed me. I personally love a good, steamy bedroom scene, but it definitely didn't detract from the story at all. I will certainly be reading the next one as soon as it's available.

F.U.N.N.Y!!I’ll admit it - I like an easy read. I know it’s not the “smart girl” thing to say, but I was an English major way back when and I had my fill of literature that made my head spin. But this book was written for a reader like me. There was no talking down, there was no guilt in reading it...it was fun and funny and it read like I speak! Sibby could become the next Stephanie Plum for me!!

***4.5 stars***I have to say I was laughing the whole way through this book! The characters were awesome, the dialogue was witty, the story - while not totally original - was told in a way that kept my attention throughout. My only complaint is Sibby’s obstinate nature which has her wanting to keep secrets when telling the truth would make everyone’s life easier. Overall great read and I look forward to reading more!

She's not used to working in a busy, fast-paced environment, but she discovers it's much more interesting with the variety of customers and new co-workers. She also finds out that a handsome guy she met recently is not only a fellow employee but her boss. This is a light, enjoyable romantic comedy. The book is very well-written for this genre and has great dialogue. The chemistry between Sibby and her boss was good. He's a great guy but she understandably has serious trust issues to work through. The romance was the best part of the story. The comedy falls a little short. For example, Sibby's clumsiness is a recurring theme throughout the book which gets a little tedious, especially seeing that she's a waitress in a busy restaurant. However, overall I would recommend this book for a quick, romantic story.

I absolutely found the epilogue unnecessary. Also, I want Annie and Caleb's story!

Book grew on meThe description of the book had me hooked so I thought I'd give it go. First chapter got me, you meet Sibby and Aidan and it's not that bad but after awhile I became bored and there were some things that annoyed me. For example, the word hipster is in almost every chapter, okay I get it, Sibby is a hipster thanks for the reminder. Another thing is Sibby talks about how she doesn't want drama but literally creates drama. This was such a good book. It just made me so happy and I couldn't help but laugh throughout the book. The plot itself could be quite serious in a way. I was browsing on Amazon for a new chick lit read, and Tales of a New York Waitress caught my attention. I liked the cover, and the synopsis had me giggling. It’s the first book in the Queen of Klutz series, and I’m so happy that I ended up loving it! Sibby is a hysterical character, and I also really enjoyed reading about her best friend too. All the restaurant chat really took the book to a comical level, and I loved the quick sections that each chapter was divided into. I enjoyed this book for what it was-- simple, funny, predictable and easy to read. Sometimes you just need to step away from the WW2 Nazi book scene and read something light and playful. The dialog gets a little choppy in parts and some chapters end abruptly, giving parts of the book a anecdotal vibe. The characters are charming and likable, (even the cheating boyfriend who makes a few brief appearances) and I was genuinely interested in all of their success and happiness. OMG!Holy crap! That was one of the best books I've read! I wanted to read it when I read the blurb but I've been burned so many times before with promises of funny, sexy and cute. This one didn't have the sexy time scene but damn it I loved it anyway. I LOVE SIBBY AND AIDEN! This book ... it didn't let me down. Can't wait to read the second one ... ahhh I'm off now to start it. ....

Hilarious book.Sibby will keep you laughing through this entire story. She starts the book having one of the worst days of her life. Cue lots of alcohol and her best friend in a bar playing pool drinking more alcohol. She meets Aidan and spends the night with him but no sex. A short time later she takes a job in a restaurant where Aidan works and will be her boss. Grab this book and enjoy, it kept me laughing.

5 hilarious stars for a good timeThis was my first read by Ms. Garman, and she did NOT disappoint! Its official, I want to be Sibby's best friend. She was hilarious and sweet and such a darn klutz. Add in some drunken times, terrible luck, and some serious spooning and you have a story that will leave you in stitches (seriously, dont get too close to Sibby, she can't help it.) I want more of the Antonio crew with all their adventures.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Yes....in all caps....I LOVED THIS BOOK! It made me laugh out loud. The last book to do that to me was Eligible, by Curtis Sittenfeld. This book is just a super fun read. Really fun! So if you're fed up with books about crazy-ass women, missing children, murder, any book that the title begins with "The Girl _____ (fill in the blank)", or just anything heavy and need a breather and something easy and enjoyable.....pick up this book! You're welcome! ;-)

Loved this book. I love Aidan. Sibby was hilarious but drove me insane with some of her actions, a little too much drinking for me and she did seem childish in some parts. There was a few times I thought Aidan deserves someone so much better than her.. I wanted to smack her around. But this book was such a nice relief from other books that I have read. This book was a funny, and enjoyable read. I want to know more about Annie and Caleb. Caleb needs his own HEA.

Clumsy, klutzy and overall walking disaster Sibby definitely had me laughing and seeing things in a different light. I mean, if she can get a happily ever after with the trainwreck of her life then theres hope for the rest of us. You dont have to have it all together to be happy.
