The newest Rogue Rescue romance shocks readers with gripping emotions and thrilling suspense. Ian and Trick are two strong, captivating males that easily draw readers into their story. Ian and Trick are two strong, captivating males that easily draw readers into their story. The relationship starts off with a hurdle to be overcome but then both move on the sizzling heat that burns between them while trying to adjust to the changes in their lives and on the team. The romance is sweet but with lots of emotional turmoil that adds depth and makes it easy for the readers to understand where these characters are coming from. Ian’s past plays a major part of the emotional turmoil and Trick is fundamental in adding a positive influence in Ian’s emotional issues, which surprises readers as well as the characters. There is a bit of a lopsided view of this couple as readers are given more detail about Ian and less about Trick, which readers may feel would make the romance a bit better, but doesn’t stop them from enjoying it.The story is fast paced and flows smoothly from the pages with their searing romance but with added excitement of death defying rescue missions and an unexpected twists that answers some questions regarding Ian but adds more in relation to the team. The unique shifters and their roles in this fascinating world makes for a really great change in shifter romances and the author brings it all to vivid life with great detailing that makes it easy for the readers to imagine each and every scene. This romance can be read as a standalone story, but readers may find that reading the previous books gives them a better understanding of this fascinating world as the conclusion definitely readers know that there is more going on.

This is my favorite of the series! (Though let's be honest, the first 2 are really good too). Two alpha male shark shifters learning to work in tandem in the water -and on land. Smoking hot sex scenes, exciting underwater adventure and a happy ending (with some interesting plot revelations!). Full review to come - and I hope this isn't the end of the Rogue Rescue team stories!

4.5 starsI personally feel that this one was better than the first two of the series. Ian and Patrick "Trick" are so perfectly matched that I hate they were the last couple to get their HEA. Also I feel something is missing. Will Mrs. West continue forward from here or will we be last without a finished story.

Ok I'm gonna hide this because of a few things - First - yay shark shifters! I loved that so much! I loved the connection between them as sharks and as people - the shifting in this story was awesome!I loved the cave and the super hero Mackey turns out to be - I knew his story would be full of awesome and it was! This felt so weird and didn't make sense and made me dislike Brackett even more. I really hope there isn't more about her because - ugh! - she makes me crazy and is not a likable character at all. The "I wanted you for my son" Yuck. Why wouldn't she tell him sooner - none of it made sense.I did love Mackey and Trick tho - I'd have loved to understand more about Trick's reasons for being so difficult and would love to see what comes of his math skills.4.5 of 5 stars

Ugh. Can Brackett just fuck off? She has crossed so many boundaries that is unbecoming in a leader (view spoiler)[ especially, in a mother. Shocker she’s a shit one. (hide spoiler)] Honestly, I judge Nichols’s taste. Why would you want to get involved with someone like that? Also, Mackey is such a good guy. And no thanks to his biological parents. Trick’s need to be punished for his recklessness matched with Mackey’s need to be in control. Their relationship dynamic is probably my favorite so far.Seriously, could have done without a single mention of Brackett though. Still holding out hope for Lachlan. Yowza! This book was hot and deep. Lol pun intended. Who knew the shark shifters would have hidden depths?Mackey and Trick are so beautiful to watch. And funny, too. I love how the author describes their moves in a shark like way. Mackey does not just park his car. No, he "prowled the lot, up one row and down the next, before rolling into a spot." The only thing missing is the Jaws background music. These two have to be my favorite couple. They are attracted to each other immediately, but clash d Yowza! This book was hot and deep. As in, one follows rules and the other does not. Trick is feisty and irrepressible and not afraid to take Mackey and his intimidating self on. No worries about bad editing or writing here! I had to fan myself a couple of times because the action and the sex was totally hot.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Entry shock N. The discharge of static electricity felt by a rescue swimmer when entering open water from a helicopters hoist cable. This is Mackey and Harpers story. Harper I believe is one on Vince’s men. Ian/Mackey Trick/Patrick are really cute together. Due to Trick being deaf Mackey takes the time to learn sign which I found really sweet. Regardless of the differences between these two I still found them to be a great couple. There are some really hot scenes between these two. Mackey has a Entry shock N. Mackey has a great personality however, I found it to be really sad that Mackey was unable to trust himself with Trick because he thought he might hurt him if he lost control. The fact that it these two were able to work it out in the end was truly heartwarming. Must read series enjoy.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a highly anticipated book, I thoroughly devoured books one and two and was chomping at the bit to read book three. McKay's book, he was such a prominent character. One that I loved so much, I loved them all but he was my favorite. I can't say exactly why, maybe it was his quiet way, in which he was just there for them all like the silent big brother. There is also a great spin of book series to. Mia West did an amazing job with these books. I enjoyed the dynamics between two of the same shifters. Definitely worth grabbing you won't regret it.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Mia West has done it again, I like shifter stories, wolfs, bears, big cats. Not so much little animals, dragons and nevery water animals, but Mia has found a way to make them believable and interesting. We've all heard stories of dolphins helping man, so this series makes sense. I love the undercover of Coast Guard, they never get the recognition they deserve, so this make perfect sense.I have now read the three books in this series and hope the will be more. You must read Mackay's story, you will Mia West has done it again, I like shifter stories, wolfs, bears, big cats. Much is revealed in this book as to how the squad came to be as well as Mackey's past. Ian Mackey is a hard arse but when pitched against Patrick "Trick" he finds something he likes very much and becomes very sweet and possessive of trick. Some small hick ups that get the eyes watering but as always a HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
