Wilder (The Wild Ones #3)
Wild Ones Tip #349 If you don’t understand what’s going on, it’s because you haven’t been in Tomahawk long enough. My sister and I decided to go to Tomahawk to learn more about our estranged grandmother and spend some time together doing something other than networking. What we expected was some quiet town, a peaceful escape, and a little downtime. What we got? Two sexy mountain men...who actually wear a lot of flannel, bring fresh kills on first dates, and gripe about screaming a lot. Hypothermia, a broke arm, a possible concussion, and more reckless fun than we've ever had. And a stoner town that prides itself on its weed, crazy challenges, beards, and bizarre character. Our trip started a little like a horror film...including bad cell signal, spotty internet and womb snatchers. Long story. Fortunately, it changed pretty quickly. I actually ended up not spending much time with my sister, but I did spend a lot of time with Kai Wilder. He's the single most unique, easy-going, and...oblivious man I've ever met. Welcome to Tomahawk. Home of the Wild Ones. **Stand-alone novel **Language warning **Sexual content **Romantic comedy

Amazing! I fall more in love with this series every time I read it and now I can add this book to the list. Loved Kai and Piper. Was great to have an insight into the Wilder family. Can’t wait for the next books. Can already tell that they’re going to be epic. Highly recommend.

Well worth the wait!I waited so long for this book and it did not disappoint. It looks like they will have their own book. Another couple who will probably get their own story is Deacon who is the twin brother of Benson (from the first book) and Krysta Nickel, and then Killian Vincent, Hale's brother (but I can't remember if he is older or younger) and Nila Wilder, Kai's younger sister.I'm just hoping these next books will come out quickly since I can't wait to read more of this series. Until then I will just have to troll through her other books until they come out.

These books make me so happy. I'm not sure if it's because I'm part redneck or the sheer f*ckery these characters get into. Either way, I can relate. Kai's inner dialogue was everything. So, Wilder was absolutely laugh out loud funny for most of the books, then CM Owens decided to tear our hearts out with a teaspoon for a bit, and end on an epic note. All the feels. Kai Wilder is sooooo ridiculously swoon awkward and entirely worthy all at once. He as no conception of social norm, like just about anyone from Tomahawk, and I think that he entirely balance Piper out in that respect. Plus, as a crazy cat lady, I just have to adore him.

I seriously have a lady boner for Kai, always have. He is so wild, so sweet, so adorable( dont tell him that). It was so endearing to read all about him. CM Owens is one of those authors that up's her game every. Single. Book! OMG This one though! I'm a Wild One!!!! Book 3 in the series! Being a small community who pretty much stick to themselves and their own rules, are not expecting two new outsiders in town. Especially two hot city sisters. Kai Wilder... Kai Mother F Wilder! One of the calmer wild ones. Well as calm as a wild one can be and totally clueless when it comes to girls. Coming into close contact within minutes of meeting Piper after CM Owens is one of those authors that up's her game every. Single. Coming into close contact within minutes of meeting Piper after a deer in a frozen lake incident, Kai is pretty hopeless when is comes to wooing her. Piper arrives in Tomahawk expecting a quiet few weeks in a cabin in the woods with her sister Reese. She couldn't have been more wrong. She's baffled by all the crazy around her and doesn't quite know what to do with it. Kai is the kind of man she has never come across before and she doesn't know how to handle him.Enter the meddling family and towns folk, let the games begin! After an unusual first date Kai has claimed her. What follows is a "series of unfortunate events" and chaos ensues.Honestly if you're looking for a funny as hell series this is for you. You will never read so much craziness in one series. You will take every character you read into your heart. Every odd event and every quirk they have will have you wanting your home town to do the same. There are so many highlights i can't even being to shrink them all down for a review. I'll just say random things like Dino's, fresh deer, apron, riverdance, karaoke, baked goods, holey condoms, and cougar. None of that will make the slightest bit of sense and that's the beauty of these books. They're cray cray and i bloody love em!!Kai is just... GAH he's everything!! I love him. I love how clueless he is. He knows there's a connection between him and Piper but he just doesn't get it. He's kind of innocent and i loved that it was really refreshing!I connected instantly with Piper and Reese. I loved how they were completely baffled by everything but they just went along with it! It's like Tomahawk just absorbed them into the town and that's where they now belong. Every single character i wanted more off. You get a peek of them all and i wanted them all!! Killian is the one i have my beady eye on and i can't wait for his book. You get lots of Hale and i can't wait for his book. You get a peek of Deacon and i can't wait for his book... picking up a theme? I WANT THEM ALL NOW!! The older generation just add the icing to the glorious cake. Just pure comedy genius! CM Owens has such a gift for placing the visual in your head you think the story is playing out in front of you. I found myself laughing so much i had to cross my legs to stop the leak. It's not all jokes but i just found myself with a goofy grin on my face the whole book. It just a feel good, make you smile, make you laugh, make you swoon, make you want more book. I'd happily read them forever... i mean there's a whole town of people there... come on CM Owens!! Can we go for the longest series ever?? I think we can!! MORE MORE MORE!! That's exactly what you'll say at the end. The story is just a joy. The writing paints the picture, and the comedy has you rolling around laughing. If you want a smile and a laugh and a swoon buy this book!! Come join us and become a WILD ONE!! Fly the Flag for your corner! Come on i know you wanna! 5 Baby shark-dino-cougar Stars!!

Piper trying to be like her sister and let loose and have a fling and stay aloof. While Lao tried to keep his distance because he knew she was leaving Tomahawk. Trying to protect himself from the inevitable. They both just end up hurt in the end. Lining for each other and basically depressed for a month. Kai was so oblivious it made everything even more comical. Every time Piper tried to be seductive he was genuinely confused by her actions. Like, to a point where your lol “really dude? She’s basically naked” like I feel like the average guy when they come over and a girl answers the door basically naked he knows what’s up. Not Kai. Kai is loving and loyal and genuine but seductive sign dropping dumb. I mean piper was literally only in a apron at one point and he was still confused. 🤦🏾‍♀️But I think my favorite thing about all of this is the cougar. That is actually a cougar and not a older woman chasing a younger man. But literally a wild 🐱. I was not expecting Kai to have a freaking cougar for a pet. And I still want to know what the flip count chocula is. I was completely intrigued and then was left with nothing. Can’t wait to meet him hopefully sometime in the future. Can’t wait for the next Wild One.

She is only in town for five weeks. He will never leave. Piper is not prepared to get wild. She isn't ready to be free. She needs rescuing from the first time they meet. She tried to save a deer from the ice and ended up an ice cube in need of thawing. She needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap and the Malones are just the family to do it. They dance around the relationship, failing miserable. When then finally give in it is all encompassing, hot, crazy and crushing. I love living in his brain and all the over-the-top, backwoods thinking that goes on. Going into this book I expected all the humor (it is C.M. Owens after all) but what was a pleasant surprise is how beautifully touching this story is from the beginning. The Bambi scene represents this well, that’s all I am saying (wanting to say more but I won’t). The theme of finding and becoming your best self, might have brought a few tears to my eyes (eek). Yes I am THAT girl. Don’t judge me (haha). The injustice of this book is the teasing this author did with Hale and Reese’s story. WTH! SO MEAN... UGH I need to know all NOW! I guess that isn’t happening (boo hoo). This definitely is a recommended read. It has all the elements I love; funny, sweet with just right amount of naughty (wink wink). Lastly, being a small town Northern California gal, I loved and appreciated all the redneck hilarity. SO GOOD! Happy Reading Everyone!

But when Reese shows up telling her they have dates. But when Hale shows up with a dead deer on her porch, they both scream. Hale and Kai cut up the fresh meat to feed the girls. Reese and Piper come from wealth not hunters so they both don't know how to deal with this. But Kai helps them by having them smoke weed. Over the next several weeks, Kai and Piper fall in love, but Piper and Reese know that the real world is calling them. How will Piper decide between love and the real world? Can Kai convince Piper that his town will be the best for her and him?

Wilder is book three in The Wild Ones series and is Kai’s story. This story started out a little slower to me and took several chapters before I began to enjoy it. I loved Kai but I didn’t connect as quickly to Piper. She’s from the city and is a bit judgmental so it was difficult to picture her being happy in a town like Tomahawk. Plus Piper and Kai were more focused on the end of their time together rather than enjoying the time they had. I absolutely loved this book. Kai Wilder is such a sweetheart and I really did not see that coming from him! I laughed, I cried and my heart is still hurting for Hale. I was so happy when Piper finally realized where she belonged. I want to find me a “Tomahawk” community and retire there. I would never be bored. I can’t wait to see what genius CM Owens writes for the Wild Ones next. I’m hoping Hale, Killian & the other Wild Ones find their happily ever after too :)And I can’t wait for the Wi I absolutely loved this book. Falling in love Tomahawk StyleA rich future senators daughter and a Wilder, what could go wrong. Or actually could it go right? Kai and Piper are both maintaining a distance during their brief fling while Piper is in town. But even trying to be being emotionally distant there is still plenty of laughs and misunderstanding as Piper tries to make sense of the crazy world that is Tomahawk. Another fab read from C.M. Owens

WilderThis series is wild and crazy and just hilarious. The most zany things happen in Tomahawk. I fell in love with Kai. He is a Wilder and everyone is terrified of him. I'm sure having a pet cougar is a part of that. Piper is a wealthy fashionista, pseudo-celebrity, from the opposite side of the country. She experiences culture shock while checking out her deceased grandmother's cabin with her sister.

This book! I swear this is such a great read. Fun. loving. Hot. Crazy and joy. Kai is all and more! A true wild one tho he really tries to hold back with Piper. God is mom! Is awesome.. all the wild ones are! Piper is sweet with a touch of a bish in a good way. She does takes a bit more time to shake of the shell shock of being around the wild ones. But she is crazy to. Since you have to be atleast a little coocoo for cocopuffs to be with a Wild one .

Piper and KaiI want to be where the people are... I sound like Ariel, yeah I know but living in a real life Tomahawk would be epic and life would never be boring! Look how quickly Piper figured it out. I floved this book, just I knew I would. This author never disappoints for a highly entertaining and laugh out loud good time while reading. I think Kai's story is my favorite so far... but I've said something similar with each book! I wanna be a Wild One!

Wilder than everKai Wilder is my most favorite wild one so far! I love, love, love this series and have been hanging out for the next book. It didn't disappoint. The romance is unexpectedly sweet, and the background shenanigans that make town so unique are just awesome! The Wild Ones tips/rules sprinkled throughout the book are the icing on the cake.Read this book. Read all the wild ones books. Lots of good, lighthearted fun and sexy, wild alpha males. You'll love it!

I absolutely adore this series. It never fails at making me laugh.I LOVE Kai. His naivety to relationships was hilarious. I was cracking up during the first date.Piper wasn't my favorite h, she was a little too stuck up for my taste in the beginning, but she did grow on me.Three different couples are set up; Reese and Hale, Krysta and Deacon, Nila and Killian.I've been dying for Nila and Killian's book.I want to read all of the others, but Nila and Killian's book is the one i'm most excited for. **FANF%^*INGTASTICC.M. Owens is a genius. I loved this book the best from the Wild One Series. Kai and Piper had me laughing out loud in so many places. The dynamics of this family just holds no boundaries. I love how the families fight with each other but love and back each other fiercely.I really hope Reece and Hales book is next. I want to see how that finishes.

Piper being so over the top with her seduction and Kai being so oblivious just made me love them. Kai and Cougar are my most favorite. Thanks C.M. for this awesome adventure. Wild laughs Another smash hit to The Wilders. Finally Kai gets his women and love, one of the wildest of the bunch yet finally gets his women. Hop on for the laughs and fun along the way. I promise there’s not a moment in this book that would make you yawn. Action from start to finish, laughs through out. I can’t wait for the next one.

Hilarious!C.M. You have once again killed it! I love Tomahawk so much. I would live there in a heartbeat! I laughed out loud, loudly. Kai was clueless, sexy, and badass, while also being so sweet and respectful. And Pipers reactions to Tomahawk was hilarious! Give me more of this series! I need to know about Hale and Killian and Krysta! All of them!

Five stars...My favorite series right now. Although it's a standalone you should read books one and two first. Excellent characters, perfectly written. There is so much humor and emotion written in these stories that I will buy every book in this series. It is highly recommended and worth staying up late to finish.

A fun readWilder, book 3 in The Wild Ones series, is what I'd describe as a light, fluffy, really fun read. All the books in the series follow this formula, and I really enjoy them because of the humour. At times this book was LOL hilarious. Tomahawk is filled with crazy families and crazy antics. Lots of fun times.

The right mix of romance and comedy. As usual cm made a great story, and as is rare in this genre the main characters are genuinely different from book to book. A great read and now I'm done within a day of release (good length, I just devoured it way too fast) and am left hanging for more.
