Tribe Protector (Chosen, #3)
Lily thought she had her hands full with her conflicted feelings over her quickly progressing relationship with Arruk’s wild twin, Drrak, the uneasy truce with the tribe leader, and trying to prove she’s trustworthy to a people who want nothing to do with her. But all that pales in comparison to what’s coming. When Lily and her mates are sent into the forest to investigate the intruders closing in on tribe territory, they find something so horrifying it shocks Lily to her very core. But more than that, it pisses her off. Driven now by the need to protect a people not her own and to stop the monsters that hunt them, Lily gathers the tribe to her cause, enlisting them to help her. But will they be ready in time or will Lily lose everything in the fight for survival? Tribe Protector is the epic finale in the Chosen Series.

So this was a good RH alien series.I really enjoyed that the aliens were actual aliens and not just oversized humans. This book showed how Lily interacted and protected her new tribe. Even though the series is over, it left way to many unanswered questions for the series to be over. Who is the strange creature training the pantari? What happened with Lily and her new mate? Is she able to have children with them?I hope there is at least a novella.

3.75 - 4.0 ***Sci fi reverse harem stories aren't for everyone. I think this series gets better with each new book. Lily's story seems done but I hope there are more books about Lily, her guys and the tribe.

Tribe Protector didn't turn out so well. The whole war plot was stupid and should not have started and ended in this book. It left no room for the other important things, like life in an alien tribe, life with her mates, and life with any additional mates. I also didn't like how it was handled when other mates were introduced. I suppose Lily had to do what was best for herself, but I felt she made the wrong decision. The best parts of this book were all before the war plot, which didn't leave much of the book to like.

It's a good book and good 3rd part of series but I ca't believe it ended. There are too many loose ends. What about her next mate, aren't we going to learn more about him? He imprints, she feels sorry for him and then what? Also what about the 6 legged animals that someone is teaching how to hunt her people, what happens there??And also what about all these reptilian aliens that attacked them what brought them there, are they native, have they been dumped on the planet like her?And what happens w It's a good book and good 3rd part of series but I ca't believe it ended. Excellent ending for the story of Lily and her guys. We see the resolution of Lily and Drrak, and the cub too! I really like Drrak and how he was different from Frrar, Tor, and Arruk, yet also fit in easily and brought something more to Lily. Thank you, Stacy Jones, for writing the story of Lily and her new Tribe.

I have been waiting for this book. I couldn't wait to finish this series. I hate to say this, but I think I liked the first two books better. Stacy Jones is very talented in creating personalities that are so likable. And she is great at sticking with their personalities. I've read reverse harem books where all the men are basically the same guy, no differences other than physical. But she really writes them so that they are their own person. I love that.

So my only real complaint is first I would have loved just a little more time with Draak. But also there was one thing at the ending concerning her mates that to me just kind of felt dropped in there kind of like an afterthought with no real exploration of how it came to be or how it would be thereafter. Otherwise no issues and those weren't big issues really just personal preference lol. So if you haven't given this author a chance and you love it just enjoy sci-fi, alien type aliens, New planet kind of romance or stories in general I would definitely suggest this author; especially this series which for most enjoyment should really be read in order. Overall a good book that leaves us wanting to come back to this world and these stories (*cough* bird man *cough*) would recommend.

Four stars for the writing but only three for enjoyment .....I think a good title for this would have been to have borrowed from Shakespeare and called this “ much ado about nothing”....Sorry may give spoilers 🚨 but not really meaning to....What do I mean ?Ok, well basically this whole book just about revolves around the ( in one way or another) approaching danger that something or someone’s out there getting ready to attack Lily’s mates tribe and their families ..... we get hints of this at the Four stars for the writing but only three for enjoyment .....I think a good title for this would have been to have borrowed from Shakespeare and called this “ much ado about nothing”....Sorry may give spoilers 🚨 but not really meaning to....What do I mean ?Ok, well basically this whole book just about revolves around the ( in one way or another) approaching danger that something or someone’s out there getting ready to attack Lily’s mates tribe and their families ..... we get hints of this at the end of book two but thing is after 75-80% of build up in this book book we get one semi big battle in the middle of the night ( naturally ,right?) where Lily does some majorly TSTL things like just taking off in the dark ( where she can’t really see a thing) w/barely a weapon and just a over grown puppy/cat/ gator pup fir protection.... and that was disappointing because in until then Lily has NEVER been the TSTL type...She gets hurt( of course ) rescued by her mates, awakes a later in pain but ok they deal with their dead, have their version of a wake/funeral and then it’s weeks later their rebuilding, making defenses, puppy/cat/gator is the size of a small horse, they’ve taken in t children etc.... The EndWith ever knowing why the creatures attacked or why or where they came from or soo many other ?’s we are left wondering about ....Honestly I was left really disappointed and dissatisfied with this one..... in the first two books every thing of course revolved around Lily and her men/males/mates sure they were al, they had but they felt like a team but here ? The focus felt too split m half the focus was one these mysterious creatures and their impending attack and being ready for it and the other half was Frrar’s fears controlling him and him wanting her to take other mates and taking on Arruk’s twin Drrak.....And while I’ve always loved how sensible Lily has been things w/Drrak were dragged out entirely fir my taste....I mean we came into this book knowing a)she was wildly attracted to him and b) her mates were not only ok w/taking another mate but were deeply hoping she’d take on Drrak to complete their family .... Soo why when she’s picking thru his huge mound of stuff, she’s completely clueless about him and what it means til days and days later when he again tried to “present” to her I do not know....That’s the thing, Lily seemed a little slow her at times , suspicious and always curious but rather behind the curve from where she seemed to be in the first two books ....It’s weird if there were more books coming I’d almost just describe this one as a bridge to what is coming next ,deep sigh, but it’s not ... this is it....And that’s just sad to me ,not just because I’ll miss Lily and her guys but Lily and her guys from the first two books not this ...No slight to Drrak, I wish he’d come across them before they made it back to the tribe to be honest or that they’d decided to stay out their on their own ...Why ?Because nothing really seemed to be gained by it... We never get to know the ‘tribe” but Lily and her guys while spending Talbots the whole Book either preparing to defend or defending the tribe, they never feel like they’re part of the tribe or get to know the tribe.... it’s always this feeling of us versus them even if the us versus them is a Lily vs the tribe ..No true feelings of connection were formed from what I could see til the very bad and then that was just a few paragraphs away from the end....And with all the emphasis being on the preparation for battle and protection, we lost the emphasis it felt like on Lily her guys...They closeness we enjoyed and loved watching seeing grow in the last two books was over fun and eclipsed by preparations for a battle we never get to understand the reason for ....A battle that’s built up for the whole book, then it happens one night at the end ,then they survive and it’s over.....And I’m left feeling WTH ?!?!?!?Good series but honestly I’d only truly recommend the first two books, this one has last book let down for me...Thank you sooo soo much for Lily and her guys Ms.Jones, they were amazing ...But you just didn’t stick the landing for me sorry...Four stars out of respect for what you created but three stars 🌟 for enjoyment on this one....

Being a sentient being, and an illegal item to trade, they ditched her on a backwater planet and flew away. She was discovered by new aliens as she became severely dehydrated and collapsed and soon discovered that alien Christmas was actually their proposals. After surviving with her 3 mates in a cave during the flood season she was brought back to their tribe, as they discovered she didn't have one for them to go to- their normal custom. Lilly found a pantari cub and Arruk's brother and wound up collecting them, too. But the tribe Mother and the other females aren't so welcoming. With the missing Skaa whereabouts unknown and signs of hostile unknown aliens closing in on the tribe's location, tensions are high. And Pasha or no, Lilly is an outsider, not Shavari and therefore suspicious. Her ideas for defense may come in handy but Mother will defend her tribe against anyone, including a tiny human who's tied the life of 4 males to herself. Spoilers ahead!Wow. I have been wait for this 3rd book for a long time now, it seems lol. I fell in love with Lilly's humor and resolve in book 1. I fell further when she defended her guys in book 2. Book 3 was fulfilling but also frustrating. I kind of hope for a book 4. Atuk deserves to be more than an afterthought. And the kids. And Trrak. And... There's still so much we haven't learned about the tribe. And the alien bird guy. And... See? We need these stories, and not from another tribemate's POV. We need Lilly's humor as she takes care of Shavari kids, with the aid of 4 males who have been outcasts and no fathering experience. Integrating the family as they have the stories hidden there shouldn't be a glossed over epilogue. But it was still a fun, and sad, wonderful wrap up to Lilly's adventures.

The tribe has found evidence of dark and dangerous intruders in their lands and one of the Pasha's (female shevari) is missing. Lily and her men are sent by the tribe mother into the heart of danger to ascertain who the intruders are and what needs to be done about them. Many in the tribe do not trust Lily and are concerned that she may be somehow related to recent unfortunate events. Lily emerges as a great asset to the shevari. Her help in strategy and knowledge of tactics helps the tribe protect their village in the trees. An epic battle ensues. I loved this element in this book! I couldn't put it down and was up until 2 in the morning finishing it! I know this is the conclusion to the Chosen Series, but I see where Stacy could do a novella. I'd really love for Lily to be able to have offspring - hint, hint! Also, the winged man needs a story! So possibly a spin-off could occur there. Super conclusion to this series, 4.5 stars!

Good EndingThis was a really good ending to the series, but I really hope it isn't the end. It would be nice to see the werewolf problem handled and to actually see the evolution of Atuk and her family. Just a novella could do it and make everything wrapped up and complete. That was just a short paragraph and it really wasn't enough and leaving the werewolf problem hanging wasn't a good move for a finale. It was still satisfying, just a little lacking at the end. The rest of the story was wonderful though. I don't normally like a new guy coming into a harem, but the way this was done and the way the guys encourage the right addition and in fact desire it, makes this a satisfying way to accomplish it without the weirdness. At least in my mind. A little reviewer complained "What about her first three guys? Just to push them aside." There was absolutely no pushing aside of anyone. Even y one of her guys are loved and adored and Gor plenty of loving! I was working died through the whole book after that review. Don't worry, that was not an accurate review and this is very much an HEA for everyone in the unit.

I liked this series... it was different from the other alien abduction books out there. From the beginning, thhe scenarios seemed more realistic...LOL More realistic in that one would probably not magically find a language translator and would have to work to try to learn the alien language from scratch. The storyline was funny and endearing with some steam thrown in. This book jumps right in and I struggled a bit to remember what the heck happened in the first 2 books. Intriguing and entertaining Series! This was a very, very pleasant surprise read! I usually enjoy this genre, but do not post reviews on it because, while it holds my attention,it’s all a pretty much predictable storyline, right? Nuh-uh this one. Extraordinarily well written; a captivating cast of characters; a powerful treatise on diversity, love, loyalty, and sexual harmony. Read it, and encourage this author with the kind of honest reviews that will inspire her to write, and write again.

I could not remember the author or title but the story remained with me. I searched multiple times and never found it. Until I did - and now the series is complete! Happy day. I read so much that many books just blend together. No blending here! I saw wait to read more by this author.

Great endingI have truly enjoyed the series. Lily is a great character and her aliens make me sigh. Good story line although it leaves a couple of items open ended - like why the enemy banded together or a definitive outcome with the pantari. But it doesn't detract from the overall love story and acceptance of differences theme. And can I just say Tor and the eyebrows was awesomely funny & I'm still giggling over it.

A lot of action in this one, both steamy and bloody. A lot of tears, happy and sad. Favorite so far. I love my willing boy. 😍 and Tor with his eyebrow fear is adorable and hilarious. Awesome conclusion!Great conclusion to the story! The threat of the invaders was definitely the focus of the story, less the relationships with Lily and her mates, except the addition of Drrak and Frrars’ issues with protecting Lily at all costs, consequences be damned. The author painted a story with some scary ass aliens, and even left a nugget of unfinished business on the alien planet. I’m thinking there will be followup. Great great story!!

I loved the first book in this series, and the second book felt like a "tide you over" until this was released, so I looked forward to book 3, but the ending here felt lackluster. The last chunk of the book was devoted to the fighting preparations and the battle, which I don't feel was s particularly strong scene. The balance tilted away from the characters' romantic relationships, when I would have liked to see more focus there. The resolution didn't feel quite long enough or complete.

AMAZING world building, strong character development, and a fabulous story. Made me laugh, made me tear up and absolutely made me laugh as an alien man tries to figure out eyebrows!!!
