¡¡¡WWWOOOOOWWW!!! Fence #9 de fue demasiado GENIAL. Ese final...¡¡ESE FINAL!! Las últimas páginas fueron simplemente increíbles. ¡¡Nick y Seiji!! Definitivamente esta vez no me decepciono y tuvo un mejor ritmo que el capítulo anterior. El duelo entre Kally y Nick fue exasperante. El siguiente capítulo será inolvidable. Ya lo estoy esperando con muchas ansias.

I am on the "Fence" about this one xDThese are very short and I wish we had more! I wanted this to end in the way it ended which was cool but if it had the alternative ending then I wouldn't have been happy!

“(...) neither is walking out the same.”!!!! WhAT dOes THat MeAn??!!also, blushy Tanner is what I'm living for(view spoiler)[Someone needs to stop writing those misleading synopsis, I'm pretty sure they refer to the next issue. Anyways, blushy Tanner who? I only know blushy Nicholas! [BASS BOOSTED 1000x] Damn, that was some blush going on there. You're not fooling anyone, Nick. (hide spoiler)]I need to review the other issues ASAP so I can discuss some other things here.

First of all, yesterday I read Fence will be continued as graphic novel after issue 12 is out and I’m so very happy about it! It means, there’s no end to this series planned yet (C.S. Pacat’s latest newsletter had me fear so) and there’ll be more content in each volume which will give the author the opportunity to put more attention to certain scenes. I don’t mind waiting longer than one month for the next continuation, if it means I’ll get more at once. Now back to this issue...My favorite part First of all, yesterday I read Fence will be continued as graphic novel after issue 12 is out and I’m so very happy about it! I don’t mind waiting longer than one month for the next continuation, if it means I’ll get more at once. Now back to this issue...My favorite part was how Kally was depicted. We learn a bit more about him, about his academic scholarship but most importantly, we learn about the former team: Harvard, Aiden, Tanner and Kally. And from how it looks, though they weren’t very successful, they had quite a lot of fun and experienced those special team bonding moments which we readers love about this genre. Actually, I’d be highly interested in a prequel which tells the story of those four guys, their adventures, their wins and losses. I get emotional when I think about how they hugged and shed secret tears because Kally won’t make the team but their shared memories will remain and no one can take them from them. This is precious. The other interesting part was Seiji’s and Nicholas’ ... conversation. I’m not sure, was I surprised that Seiji went to watch Nicholas’ match? It’s pretty funny how Seiji emphasized he only goes because there’s nothing for him to do. But then he feels reminded in Jesse and I really thought, Nicholas in his anger would expose the truth by accident. But he didn’t. It was actually pretty funny how they fought like little kids and I truly wonder what Harvard and Aiden were thinking when they found them. I’m looking forward to read more!

As always, entertaining and hilarious. Loved getting to see more of Kally and his character. Also, that cliffhanger. So anime, so troupe-y. I loved it.

The ending of this had me laughing so hard and was everything I have wanted from this comic series. Everything up to his has been a fun ride and set up for this moment and I loved this volume. This really showed how the fencing team was starting to take Nicholas seriously despite his horrible technique. They start to see him as a competitor and a good fencer. I loved watching the friendships in this. Despite certain circumstances they are all still friends and it's absolutely amazing!I loved Sei The ending of this had me laughing so hard and was everything I have wanted from this comic series. Nicholas has this funny cockiness to him while Seiji knows he's a good fencer but is shaken by another fencer. It was so funny to watch them interact in this because these two are both so strong willed that they won't let the other push them around. I can't wait to continue reading this comic series as it is an absolute delight to read.

That’s what I’m fencing for. My last year. My last chance. This volume was amazing. Tanner and Kally’s friendship is the cutest. And Nicholas blushing because of Seiji is always great to watch. Nicholas and Seiji are going to challenge each other soon, and after those last few pages, I suspect Seiji is not going to be himself because of his suspicions about Nicholas. I have some ideas about Nicholas’ mysteries, and I think I might be right but I’m willing to bet I’m going to be surprised by the revelation. As usual, I’m cursing the world because this comic comes out monthly and, you know, a month is quite long, and the more we go forward with the story, the more I’m impatient to know what’s going to happen to our beloved fencers.GIVE ME MORE NICHOLAS, GIVE ME MORE SEIJI. GIVE ME MORE!!!

The tension is finally starting to heat up as Seji finally confronts Nicolas (in a supply closet) 😏 the last page of this one is funny. I’m really interested in how their rivalry adapts and when the hate will switch to friendship.

Harvard v. Aiden didn’t get the attention that I wanted it to, but it’s chill, it’s chill; Aiden is still teetering on the edge of a place on the team or not, and I’m still down for this conflict to play out.At the beginning I was pretty “meh” about Kally, but reading through this chapter and his background made me really feel for him. I started wishing that there’d be some way both he and Nicholas could stay on the team, but alas. Kally was a king about losing though. And Tanner was such a sweet Harvard v. Gimme Seiji knowing something’s up with Nicholas and Jesse! I totally want him to be the first to know that they’re half brothers. Can’t wait for Harvard and Aiden’s reactions to finding them.
