All the Stars and Teeth
As princess of the island kingdom Visidia, Amora has spent her entire life learning the bloody and vicious magic she'll need to become a royal animancer—a master of souls. But when her coronation goes awry, Amora is forced to flee her island in search of a new way to prove she's fit for Visidia's throne. To do this, she must strike a deal with a mysterious pirate; he'll help her explore the kingdom's other islands and uncover their secrets, and in return she’ll help him regain his stolen magic. On their quest, the pair must face legendary monsters, illegal time traders, and Amora’s stow-away fiancé if they’re to reach Visidia’s banished seventh island, where the kingdom's secrets await them.

THIS BOOK YOU GUYSI was lucky enough to read an early draft of this book because the and i LOVED ITPicture Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road leading her own Pirates Of The Carribean ShipThis epic sea adventure empowering as hell, exciting, bloody, and it takes no prisoners! It's also powerful--there are parts of this books that gave me goosebumps.I can't WAIT to read the final draft and then I can't wait for everyone else to read it so we can geek out about it together!!

"feminist duology in which a fierce princess strikes a deal with a pirate and embarks on a high-seas adventure to master a vicious magic before it destroys her kingdom." intriguing, possibly interesting, no idea how good it'll actually be, the pirate book trend is so real?

I was fortunate enough to receive an early draft of All the Stars and Teeth. I'll definitely review again when I get my hands on the final, published version, but I must say, this is an EXCELLENT work!I'm a really slow reader by nature; I mostly listen to audiobooks because motivation is tough for me otherwise. I did NOT have that problem with this book. It's a really rare thing for me to come across a book that I truly just can't put down. The pacing of ATSAT hooked me. I got so emotionally wrapped up in the characters, at times feeling really frustrated or scared for them, but in a good way where I felt completely consumed by the story. The character development is wonderful, the settings are gorgeous, and Amora is an absolute breath of fresh air. It's tricky to communicate everything I love about this book without including spoilers, but trust me, this is one you don't want to miss!

So I loved this bloody book—the main character is Scarlett O’Hara incarnate. Amora is fierce and able to take care of herself, and her magic is extraordinary. ALL THE STARS AND TEETH is a sweeping, magical tale filled with pirates, a whip smart mermaid, a princess thirsting to prove herself and protect her kingdom, and a soft cinnamon roll boy who captured my heart. Everyone is fleshed out, with engaging personalities and distinct voices. And the magic. I can’t recommend this book enough!!!
