Dragon Seduction (Crimson Dragons, #2)
Awakened from his sleep, dragon shifter Corde has learned much about the new, changed world and its laws. Old habits die hard, however, and when the ancient warrior pulls out his sword in public, he’s going to have to face the consequences. What he never expected was that the fallout of his actions would lead him right into the arms of his mate. Kylie Johnson doesn’t date criminals. Not anymore. They can say all the right things, but in the end, she knows they’ll reveal their true colors. When the newest addition to her program shows up for community service though, he tests all her limits. Muscled, hunky, and possessing an old-world nobility about himself, Kylie will have her hands full one way or another! As her life begins to crumble around her, the only constant is the protective and sexy Corde. Her boundaries are starting to melt from the heat, and Kylie knows she can’t hold out for much longer. Can Corde stay out of trouble long enough to prove himself worthy of her? Or will his secrets cost him a chance with his mate? For a LIMITED TIME after release, enjoy the bonus novel Frost Dragon included as well!

3.5 stars. I had to really suspend belief and common sense with this story which I find hard to do when actions just don’t make sense. As much as I love this authors works, I really, really struggled to finish it and write this review. I’m sorry but we awaken these dragons to protect us humans and have them doing stupid community service on garbage detail due to a misunderstanding. WTH!Further on in the story Colonel Mara does what she should have done in the first place and pulls rank.I disliked Kylie for most of the book. Doing a job she obviously is tired off, too blind in her stubbornness in relation to the gang after her and too pretentious when Corde tells her the truth about himself.I was also very annoyed at the threat to put Corde back to sleep for doing what he was asked to do, FIGHT the Outsiders. Yes, the general populace does not know what is going on so covering up has to be done but the government and military should be taking more notice when they are told one is in town.I did like the knowledge that the OUTSIDERS are evolving and learning new ways to attempt to kill us. Makes for a scary future. This is my honest review of this book.

Corde and Kylie are the mated pair in Book 2 of the Crimson Dragons series. What do you get when you pair a dove with a hawk? Much more than a flutter of feathers. You get this awesome Alpha dragon trying his best to come up with peaceful resolutions to some pretty horrific situations, and all because he will do everything in his power to ensure that his mate is happy and protected at his side. It would be helpful to have read the first book because this one begins rather abruptly with the appearance of Corde and Vanek (can’t wait for his story), but I think any reader can pick up the gist rather quickly. If you are a fan of Amelia Jade you must read this, and if you don’t know her work, it’s about time you get acquainted.I received a complimentary copy from the author.

In this second book of this series Corde, a newly awakened dragon, first sees his mate Kylie as he is being arrested after fighting one of the Outsiders. Luckily finding her again as not as difficult as you might think, she is in charge of his community service. Between misunderstandings and a violent gang out to get Kylie, Corde has his hands full. Add in the Outsiders and some Hot sheet action and you have a book that keeps your attention to the last page. Wow, this book was just as powerful and intriguing as the first. Corde is another of the Dragon awakened to fight The Outsiders. She trusted no man especially extra big pretty ones. It did help when he saved her from a gang. He offers protection as bad things start to escalate in her life. DRAGON SEDUCTIONI loved this book and the characters. A story that was both exciting and entertaining. The storyline drew me in, holding my attention all the way through it. I loved Corde and Kylie, they were both strong characters but also really sweet. And you have to love Corde even more for his sheer determination to win his mate anyway he had to. Another great read to add to this series. Loved it. A copy was provided to me with no requirements for a review. After being awakened, Corde is on the search for his mate along with trying to adjust to the modern world. Kylie was burned once and has a hard time letting "criminals" in. This a great read. Grabs your attention and keeps it. He is an awakened dragon with no understanding of the times. His first act gets him in big trouble and serving community service. He is stubborn, sexy and likes her. She has the wrong opinion of him. This is funny, exciting, enjoyable and so much more. I highly recommend it.I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I really enjoyed this book. A few minor things in the plot I didn't care for, but the good definitely outweighed the minor bad. Kylie and Corde were great characters, and I loved them as a couple. Corde was super cute with Kylie, and I loved how Kylie could hold her own with him. The plot was fast paced, and it pulled me in from the beginning. I was gifted a copy.
