When she and Dawson meet by chance, there is something there for both of them.Clara's guarded heart, and Dawson's hurt one healing as they spend time together and just relax and 'find' their healed hearts was fun, sincere, and filled with attraction and longing. Great chemistry between the two main characters. Really a lovely read as they both lived their lives and found their healing and a future together. I always love a romantic read with genuine honest hearts. They both had been hurt by their former significant others, but Dawson's hope in them, and Clara's gradual belief in them and the feeling they shared was a beautiful, heartfelt, hopeful read. Sticking with each other, and letting go of the past for both of them as they built a foundation for their future with genuine, honest, heartfelt, beautiful moments. For me, this by far the best of the series and the most memorable for me as a reader. The characters read 'true' for me. If you love a clean romantic read with genuine honest characters, this is a great read!I received and ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. My opinions are my own and in no way influenced by this gift.

Oh my gosh, I loved this story! I loved Clair and Dawson. The chemistry was great and I loved how sweet and caring Dawson was. This was such a sweet, clean romance. I wish it didn't have to end. I absolutely loved it!

PersistentClara insists on being friends. Dawson is persistent, though, and he keeps flirting and charming Clara, hoping she’ll change her mind and agree to more than friendship. I laughed at all the references to other authors’ books and some of the references to other places in books as well. Clever marketing. A sweet, clean romance. No sex or swearing. An enjoyable read.

This sweet, clean, contemporary romance was delightful. I had just finished reading the other two books in the Pine Valley series (Worth the Risk and Where You Belong). I loved how characters were introduced slightly in previous books and then you get to hear their story. The book was very well written with likable characters.

This was my favorite Pine Valley couple. I loved the dialogue between this two characters. It was so fun. There is definitely chemistry between the two. Dawson was intense but also such a gentlemen. Clara was spunky and exactly what Dawson needed. My only complaint is that the story has a character from the first Pine Valley book in it but there is no connection to the other book. I like it when I can get a view of couples from previous books in series.

Clara could use a friend--but is it really possible for her to only be friends with Dawson? This was a sweet, clean romance. Clara and Dawson were both realistic characters, with interesting back stories. I enjoyed seeing their unfolding romance. There was good chemistry between the two.Although this is the third book in the series, the books are stand-alones and can be read in any order. I received a copy of the book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Of the three stand alone books in this series this is my favorite. I just love Dawson and Clara. They have each gone through a lot of heartache and have a few trust issues. Their dialogue and chemistry is wonderful. I love that their relationship is about being truthful with your feelings. Great read. Fun clean romance.

Love this Pine Valley series! (Even though it's a series, they can each be read alone and in any order.) As a book nerd, I thought it was cute that he read books for her and then they talked about them together. Each one in the series is a clean, sweet read that's perfect when you need a book to curl up and relax with. I hope there are more to come!
