Visionary New Years (Paranormal INC, #2)
New Year's always ended with a bang, when I was partnered up with my best friend, Cece Alexandra Rose. She wasn't just the demon queen - she was the party queen. I expected no different this year – my suitcase packed with flashy, skin-tight dresses and Louboutin heels that I could dance all night in. My mission was to get utterly wasted before the clock struck midnight on the New Year, 5033. Instead, I’m on an exclusive cruise for millionaires with my men in tow, assigned to a high-profile criminal investigation. I, Scarlet Sinclair, was now undercover as Irina Locksworth, rocking a brunette wig and running for my life in a hot pair of not-so-running-friendly Louboutin’s, while praying our secret weapon didn't fall out of my bra as we tracked down a drug lord, each tick of the clock pushing us closer to the New Year...and our deadline. Time for Team Seven of Paranormal INC to end this year with a bang. I just prayed to the gods it wasn't also the end of us. Visionary New Years is apart of the Holiday Series and does not take place during the same timeline as the main series. It’s recommended to read VISIONARY INVESTIGATOR- Book One in the Paranormal INC Series to understand/enjoy this novel. Recommended for 18+ audience, containing mature sexual content, violence and strong language. NOTE: Visionary New Years is written in CANADIAN ENGLISH (a mix of American and British English).

Scarlet and Cece always ring in the New Year together. This year they are taking a cruise and are planning the best time ever. One long party! Since Cece is taking Vincent along, Team Seven decides that they are going with their girl. It should be perfect but the group has barely boarded when they get the call that this will be a working vacation. There is someone on board that plans to blow the ship up after finishing a shady drug deal. The team has little to go on; no name, no face, only that Scarlet and Cece always ring in the New Year together. The team has little to go on; no name, no face, only that they are dealing with a wealthy shifter. Scarlet and Christian will go undercover to try to solve the case with the rest of the team working back-up. Of course, the best-laid plans don't stay on track when Scarlet is involved, but she always pulls it off, in the end, while looking smoking hot in her heels and with her perfect red lips. This is a perfect book to end the old year and ring in the new one. Team Seven is always entertaining. We get Scarlet, a little Cece, a little Mako and a new "friend". We get to spend time with Scar and the guys, learn some more about them all including their insecurities and fears (loved) and watch as they grow closer. Throw in some sexy times, some serious suspense, and some hilarious scenes of over-indulging and this book kept me captivated from beginning to end. I love the Holiday detours and cross-overs from Yumoyori and her series! Can't wait for more.

I'm starting my 2018 reading list with an awesome bang, too, obviously. Can I just say how full my heart is because this author just keeps on giving me all these wonderful reads? The interval between releases is enough to make me anticipate for the next and at the same time not lose interest, you know? Ughhh thank you, thank you, thank you! So I was saying, this book. I kind of inferred from the title itself that this one's going to be all celebration and fun and shenanigans. I kind of inferred from the title itself that this one's going to be all celebration and fun and shenanigans. But my presumption couldn't be farther from it. Don't get me wrong, Visionary New Years did come with it. But those weren't the only things this read had. Now I didn't know if it's exactly because I was personally more emotional the time I was reading this or what but this is by far the most emotional read I've had from the author. There were past insecurities brought up, it felt like the gang was running tired & tbh I was pretty torn up about the whole "Akane" thing. Not the real one, the other one. The supposed villain. I think her (view spoiler)[succubus (hide spoiler)]abilities did work on me because I have come to sympathize her, ughhh I just don't know anymore. But what I'm definitely sure of is that I still love this series. I love the author. And lmao, Midnight & Mako at the end of the day, these two. Still crack up every time I remember how chill Mako was, oh gods.

This was a fun interlude for the PINC crew of Scarlet and her guys. It's well written and the characters are fun. We get to learn some more about some outside characters.Though, to be honest I felt like this story doesn't need to be read in the grand scheme of things. Granted there may be some information shared in this one that's helpful in future books. This one just felt like more of a "side story" than anything major as far as character growth or relationship growth. It was still fun and we got to see some good interaction between Scarlet and the guys as well as some of her on her own. We also got a few glimpses of Moonlight/Rikki. That was a fun diversion. We do get a glimpse of Mako and her knights, but it's quite minimal, though important. It felt a LITTLE like they were a plot device, but at the same time, it made sense. It worked well and it didn't feel out of character for them. It just felt a little forced that they were even present. Nothing bad. And, it's always fun to see Mako and her spirits and see how they interact with Scarlet and the other "Earthlings".All in all, it was a fun story. I'll have to wait to see if it's really important in future stories.Random last though, most of the fun times were "behind closed doors" in this one as compared to previous books. There are still steamy times though.

This book is not at all what I was expecting. But honestly I didn’t even read the synopsis of the book, just preordered it and started reading. From the cover I was thinking it would be a fun story about Scarlett and Cece causing chaos for the New Year together. What I got was so much better!!Scarlett, Cece, Team Seven, and Vinzent are all going on a cruise filled with celebrities to bring in the New Year. It’s suppose to be a relaxing vacation for them all, but things change when the team learns a This book is not at all what I was expecting. It’s suppose to be a relaxing vacation for them all, but things change when the team learns a bomb threat has been made. Now they must go undercover to lure out the suspects and find the bomb before it makes a firework show out of the ship.I absolutely adored this book. Scarlett and her guys have grown closer. I love seeing how their relationship has grown but yet there are still insecurities, not only in Scarlett but also some of the guys. There are a few things I didn’t personally like that deal with the writing style but it’s nothing which causes me to stop reading the book or the series. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to read it. This series is a good one and I can’t wait to see where it will lead.

This is a fantastic continuation of this series and I absolutely love Scar in this series. She is sassy, confident with a bit of vulnerability thrown in. It is great to have more interaction between Scar, Christian and Ethan in this book and we learn a bit more about them and how they are with Scar. One of the great things about this book is the multiple POVs as it really helps the reader to understand what everyone is going through, not just one person! Highly recommended and can’t wait to read more from this great author!

Scar is back at it again, this time on a New Year’s cruise with the elite and time is running out. Unlike Christmas, there is some action and forward motion in there. As its a side story and alludes to events we don’t know about yet, I found it fun (and that one chapter made my night), but not ultimately deep and fulfilling? Actually, on second thought, there’s more forward motion that I was originally giving Scar credit for. Not to mention the author’s banter is a thing of magic (good dialogue is hard to find. Sometimes we meander in details but when it comes to character interactions? There are few on the author’s level)

Really enjoying this seriesYumoyori has written another great book in the PINC series- this one is more action filled with an actual case than the Christmas one and I like that. I also like the different POV's it helps getting to know the guys a bit more and develop their characters. The dialogue is fun and makes me smile as I am reading. I am one that actually enjoyed the crossover - I like glimpsing into the other series and seeing what the other characters are up to and their interactions wit Really enjoying this seriesYumoyori has written another great book in the PINC series- this one is more action filled with an actual case than the Christmas one and I like that. What was supposed to be a fun girls getaway on New Years turns into a full undercover mission. Scar and the gang are on a cruise full of rich people. They have to determine who's been causing trouble and put a stop to it. Unfortunately they learn they are up against a pretty explosive deadline. I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't sold on book one of this series but book two sucked me in. There was plenty of action, adventure, comedy, drama and some steamy moments too. Series just keeps getting better!I really liked this story. Scarlett, Cece, and the guys are off on a cruise. But of course, no vacation would go smoothly with Scar along ;-) There is a mystery, snarkiness, and steaminess :) I liked that things were more comfortable between Scar and they guys, but they are also still dealing with some of their insecurities. This is becoming one of my favorite series, and I can’t wait for the next story!
