Warrior Forever
The most likely conclusion to my current predicament is psychosis.Much more likely than actual alien abduction.Significantly more likely than impending forced nuptials with a giant primitive alien whose society never evolved a sense of humor. But life in a horny space-barbarian’s cave isn’t all bad…Did I mention he vibrates? This is a full length insta-love Alien romance. It's funny, filthy, over-the top, and completely delicious.

I can honestly say this book was not what I was expecting. I haven't read a lot of sci-fi books, but this was definitely interesting. Even when it came down to her feelings or them, she was bound to do the right thing. Even being manipulated and given partial truths, she vowed she would do everything she could.Thor is a beast who needs to mate. I really enjoyed getting down to the root of him. I loved that he would do anything for Leila. She did upset me by not being honest with him. I was endeared to him with his honesty, and the fact he listened to her instead of taking what he wanted. Who wouldn't want a caring vibrant man to live for her? This book was so unexpected, but I loved it. There was so much going on, and lots of intraplanetary information. It was an intriguing read. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel, but I'm rather excited for book two.

Her escape leads Leila on the adventure of a lifetime when she runs into a big, indestructible alien who really, really wants to mate with her.Oh, and he vibrates. Let the ramifications of that sink in for a moment. And then imagine he’s super horny, deprived of female company, and you’re in his sight.I just had an uproarious time with this cast of characters. Leila’s all turned about and trying to survive in a new environment. It’s not every day you find yourself at the mercy of aliens, after all. She’s got a lot of badass, a touch of sass, and more than enough confidence to put up a fight. The alien she nicknames Thor stole the show for me, though. The way Ms. Bardan opens up his character, the capturing of language and culture barriers and how everything plays out…it’s absolutely genius, and my heart just beat for this guy! My advice? Come aboard and prepare for this sexy, humorous, out-of-this-world adventure.4.5 stars!*I voluntarily reviewed an arc via the author in exchange for an honest review. I do recommend this book, if you enjoy Ruby dixon's aliens I think you'll like Amber's creation.

Warrior Forever by Amber Bardan is a sci-fi, alien abduction romance. Leila Hains is a military psychiatrist who has been abducted along with hundreds of other women off to who know's what nefarious fate. When a mysterious voice gives her a means to escape she becomes the leader of the human women who are on the escape ship. The mysterious voice is that of an advanced computer who is tasked with the protection of another abductee, a child from a different race, and getting her home, The only problem? The escape ship needs to restock for provisions and energy to get where they are going. The planet they land on is hot but underground adventures await Leila as she looks for water and food for the ship. It doesn't take long before she gets in trouble and is captured by Thor, who is in need of a mate. Using information that she receives through a neural implant from the computer, Macca, and her own psychiatric ingenuity, she navigates pitfalls and dangers that Thor presents and forges a connection with him.I liked the characters of both Leila and Thor. It becomes easy to forget that in many ways Thor is himself an abductor with his own goals, but his time with Leila changes him, both inside and out, into a different person, one who learns what love and a relationship with a human woman really mean. Macca presents a complicated dynamic and is her own character with goals that are easy to forget in the moment. The growth of all the character throughout the book is what makes it a fun read and leaves me wanting to know what is coming next.Overall, I recommend Warrior Forever by Amber Bardan as something more than just a sci-fi or romance story, but as a character focused and relationship driven one. I very much enjoyed Warrior Forever, particularly the more I read it.

Thor is a Baratican warrior and he pretty much is a baddass. This man is tough, sweet, thoughtful and did I mention he cooks too....dibs. He expects to keep her, but she starts negotiating with him. Even though she doesn’t give in right away, these two have some really sexy times. This book is based on what she does to save the other women. We get to see the process of these two falling in love and the lengths they wil go to to stay together, despite Macca’s meddling and manipulation. There’s quite a bit that goes on and you find out so much more in the end. No spoilers her people. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because Lelia was a tough cookie to crack and since I adored Thor...I was routing for him...because he’s just that perfect....and it felt a little like kicking a puppy. Even if she ever made it back to Earth...she wouldn’t find another one like him. Yes, please. Next book please.

He is quite the alpha warrior , with a good sense of humor and who is attracted to Lelia. Their unique love story is one that captivated me and kept me reading. There was some slow points in the story and with this being a sci fi story, sometimes it was hard to understand all going on but their love story was really good, full of passion and humor. I loved Thor- he was definitely all alpha male and he was all dominate and full of that mating fever. Leila at times had me scratching my head. She was nice but it was like she was hard to connect with . I liked her but didn’t know if she was right for Thor. I still would read more of this series and this author again. My Rating: 4.0 stars *****“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."

I did like Leila and Thor though. Thor tries his best to make sure he impresses Leila in everything. Leila is manipulating him but soon finds that she's also falling in love with him. Leila is a strong character who does what is needed to make sure she and the others can be saved. Thor is a strong warrior who isn't stupid in the least. Interesting to say the least. I loved the characters, all of them. They each had such a different and unique voice. It was easy to tell them apart. They really came to life. Not once did I forget Thor was an alien, yet he was still very likable. The ending, way to give us our HEA yet leave us wanting.
