Not His Vampire (Not This, #3)
Magic is real. Shifters exist. Trixie Russell know this. Everyone does. But no one told her about the monster lurking in the basement of the dragon’s castle. Not until it was too late. Victor Petrov is ancient, and vampires his age should not lose control of their hunger. And yet, thanks to the dragon who chained him in a dungeon to protect the citizens of New Port, that’s exactly his problem. Then in walks a human female with cotton candy hair who smells like sunshine incarnate, her pulse a melody in his parched ears, and the fragile thread of his control snaps. Like or not, Trixie is now tied to an ancient vampire forever, and he seems short a few marbles. She plans on making his eternity a misery until he reveals the mission. It turns out they have an enemy in common, and Trixie is totally on board with helping him escape so she could get her revenge. After that, she’s done. They’re over. She wouldn’t be his vampire.

I love this book!!! This is book 3 in the Not This series, it is a stand alone book with an awesome HEA. Each book can be read in any order by just to keep the characters straight I would read them in order, it is more fun that way. One hot vampire and one animal control officer makes for a howling good time. haha It will make you laugh, cry and want hold on for life. Recommend to all PNR readers. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy reading.

Are there other things that humans are not aware of that roam the streets?Trixie is an Animal Control Officer, She is a sometimes clumsy, sassy and savvy woman. She and her sister, Ruby, have had to be to survive. They live in the poorest part of New Port. They barely make ends meet. Trixie lends some cat carriers to the resident dragon shifter at the Castle. Eoin has a rat problem and cats might solve the rat situation. Her boss wants those carriers returned ASAP. Trixie returns to the Castle to retrieve them. She finds a drop dead gorgeous man chained in the basement. Oh my gosh.. vampires are real!Viktor is a very old vampire. He asks his friend Eoin to chain him when he can no longer control his bloodlust. He does not want to harm any more humans. Trixie is scared yet intrigued. She is almost done with work for the night so she must come back for the carriers later. She goes home and thinks about that vampire in the basement. She grabs a wooden spoon thinking to use it as a stake for safety purposes. Trixie goes back to the Castle and is startled by a gargoyle (yep those are real too!) falls down the basement stairs and is dying. The only way to save her is to let Vikor turn her. She will be tied to him forever. They work together to solve a mystery about a dhampir (human/vampire) tattoo artist doing black magic tattoos. This leads to another mystery involving a vampire nest in the next town and that local shifter pack. This book is good combination of funny, romance, intrigue, suspense and a HEA. The characters are interesting and I really want to visit New Port. I hope we get to see Ruby and Nick in the coming books. Chris the Alpha of Riverbend redeems himself. Fun story, very entertaining read!

A PERFECT blend of funny, suspenseful and sexy!Annie writes my type of humor. Don't get me wrong, this is NOT a romantic comedy and is DEFINITELY for PNR fans 18+, but the feisty, snarky quips that came out of Trixie had me REALLY enjoying the story!I really liked the dynamic between Trixie and Viktor. Aside from being physically bound to each other, they learned that they also need each other in different ways.As usual, Annie hints at the romance early on and then lets it slowly burn, adding a A PERFECT blend of funny, suspenseful and sexy!Annie writes my type of humor. And holy smokes when it does!!!I enjoyed catching up with the couples from the first two books in the series. While I don't think it's necessary to read their books before this one, I REALLY think you'll want to! (I especially loved Not His Dragon).I absolutely LOVE this series, as well as every single thing Annie writes, and I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what she comes up with next!(I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Riveting addition to this series!!Trixie is headed to the dragon’s castle to retrieve some cat carriers before her boss fires her. Instead of the black scary dragon, she meets a nice white dragon; Angie. She also finds a vampire chained in the dungeon. An exceptional read!*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***

I'm a big fan of Annie Nicholas so I was thrilled when I was offered an ARC of this book. To no one's surprise, I really enjoyed it. There were quite a few clever lines that made me chuckle:Dinner cleared her throat.Honesty would probably send her running, but lying was too difficult of a concept for him to grasp yet. His mind was a honeycomb of instincts and his brain was oozing out of the holes his hunger had caused.Inside his head, Viktor silently stabbed him in the heart repeatedly until his I'm a big fan of Annie Nicholas so I was thrilled when I was offered an ARC of this book. Despite a few more editing errors than I am accustomed to seeing from this writer, I am still giving this book 5 stars, hoping that the editor for her next book pays closer attention to detail.
