I audibly gasped when I figured things out. And still, Mama continued talking about harvesting (view spoiler)[Ray even though she knew he was her son. Fuertes revelaciones.

2.5 After a gripping start, The Promised Neverland has settled into a lame pattern: two thirds of pointless discussion followed by a rushed plot push and a bloodless cliffhanger. It's not fun to see be outsmarted by nonsense rewrites and characters making psychic levels of prediction.

Things are getting more intense and I can’t stop reading. I find it odd that kids as young as 12 or 10 or even younger are coming up with all the plans and schemes but the pace is brilliant and it’s very engaging.

Norman is on the chopping block. Emma's injured. Mama's cut off Ray's inside connection.Things aren't looking good for the escape but the three friends are still searching desperately for a way, to the extent that Norman makes it over the wall to see what lies beyond. We also find out Ray's known about everything for a lot longer than he's let on. So he's had plenty of time to plan exactly how he intends to thwart Mama.Let's just say the action explodes and the book leaves you hanging off a cliff Norman is on the chopping block. With a long science fiction pedigree, compelling characters, fascinating panel art, and a simplistic setting reminiscent as much of board games as it is of fairy tales (with all three of our heroes taking the chutes and not the ladders in this volume), The Promised Neverland is a darkly intriguing read and one of the better shonen manga licensed by Viz Media.Complete review (some spoilers) through this link: http://www.nerdspan.com/promised-neve...

This manga feels like a tamer version of Attack on Titan. One of the main characters takes an untimely leave. Though there's just a bit of hint left of his fate not being sealed yet. The escape plan however seems kind of impossible. How are they gonna make it possible is left to see.

A great series so far that is definitely keeping me interested, about kids escaping a so-called orphanage when they are learn they are not going to homes when they leave after all, and instead being sent off to be a delicacy for monsters

A rollercoaster of feelings. So much exciting things happened. And a lot of pain and anxiety. But series ongoing so far.

Holy buckets! Ray! Just like three, four has picked up the plotting and pacing and leaves us with a cliffhanger now that discoveries are being made.
