This is a sequel to The Lopsided Christmas Cake by Wanda E. and Jean Brunstetter. This was an easy reading sweet tale of the twins, Elma and Thelma. Thelma is now married and expecting a boppli while Elma is single and caring for the store that they inherited. Thelma seems to want Elma to renew or rekindle some feelings for Delbert, but Elma doesn't seem to respond in the way good-hearted sister Thelma would like her to. But with being very busy at the store, Elma will probably need a little help to get the work done. The story is sweet and a relaxing read. I enjoyed it as I do other books I have read from these authors. It seems a bit shorter in length but still tells the story well.I received an ebook copy for NetGalley for my review which I have given. All thoughts are my own.

Elma loves her sister but often wishes she was married and expecting as well. She tries hard not to be jealous and directs her emotions into making the store great. Thelma wants nothing but Elma to find happiness and pushes hard for her sister and Delbert to start courting once again. Elma wants nothing more than to find love and get married, but does she really want it with Delbert? It didn’t really work out so well the first go around. When Elma unexpectedly meets a handsome Ben Wagler at the farmer’s market, a new hope begins to take hold. The only obstacle is that he can’t leave his home as he is caring for his mother and running a business and she knows that she can’t leave her beloved twin behind or her grandparent’s legacy. Just when the end appears, Ben makes a sacrifice so grand that Elma can’t help but accept. This was a quick read, but that was in part to the fact that I just couldn’t put it down! As always, the characters were well developed and had such emotion and depth, the reader just couldn’t help but fall in love with them. I can honestly say, that I am expecting another book to find out what the future has in store for Ben and Elma after they are wed. I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley in return for providing my honest opinion.
