A Matter of Trust (Montana Rescue, #3)
Champion backcountry snowboarder Gage Watson has left the limelight behind after the death of one of his fans. After being sued for negligence and stripped of his sponsorships, he's remade his life as a ski patrol in Montana's rugged mountains, as well as serving on the PEAK Rescue team. But he can't seem to find his footing--or forget the woman he loved, who betrayed him. Senator and former attorney Ella Blair spends much of her time in the limelight as the second-youngest senator in the country. But she has a secret--one that cost Gage his career. More than anything, she wants to atone for her betrayal of him in the courtroom and find a way to help him put his career back on track. When Ella's brother goes missing on one of Glacier National Park's most dangerous peaks, Gage and his team are called in for the rescue. But Gage isn't so sure he wants to help the woman who destroyed his life. More, when she insists on joining the search, he'll have to keep her safe while finding her reckless brother, a recipe for disaster when a snowstorm hits the mountain. But old sparks relight as they search for the missing snowboarder--and suddenly, they are faced with emotions neither can deny. But when Ella's secret is revealed, can they learn to trust each other--even when disaster happens again?

Ms. Warren did a great job with this new book. Readers will love Gage and Ella ' s story. You will be hooked for the beginning to the end. The writer leaves you thirsting for more. I wanted to know the end and then when it ended I was sad because I wanted more.Ella and Gage are people fighting their attraction and the past mistakes and it's consequences. Their story is a reminder that God can and will use our mistakes for his glory. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I received this b Ms. Warren did a great job with this new book. Gage “Watt” Watson was once an up and coming super-star of the snowboarding community until one miss judgement and tragedy put an end to it all. His life went from sky high to a deep low in a matter of days. Now he’s just trying to put that part of his life behind him and make a new life with purpose. Ella is a young US Senator who only wants to protect those she cares about. Can these two learn to trust each other and put their past behind them? This new book in the Montana Rescue series by Susan May Warren tackles some of these issues and a whole lot more. It’s packed full of suspense, action, drama, and bits of romance to warm your heart. You’ll be taken on the ride of your life with her fantastic word pictures that vividly describe landscapes many don’t see. Depicting glorious mountain experiences and frightful close calls. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series because I know it will keep me on my toes with the action-pack adventure that is in all of Susan May Warren’s books. I also enjoyed reading about many of the other characters from the series and what’s happening in their lives. I read this book in two days because I just couldn’t put it down.I received a copy of this wonderful book from the author to read. All opinions are my own. I LOVED this book and HIGHLY recommend it and the whole series!

A Matter of Trust is the story of Gage "Wat" Watson and we learn a lot about his back story. Y'all this book was so action packed. He was a professional Snowboarder with endorsements and all that jazz before a horrible accident happened. Since then, he has been leading a low key life as an EMT keeping to himself mostly. Without going into detail the heroine from his past comes into the picture and the pages start turning because of all of the crazy- insane -adrenaline laced action.
