It was nice getting a bit more back story on All Might! Though parts of his past have still yet to be revealed. I'm also loving seeing all the characters grow in their abilities. Overall another solid volume!

The story is slowly taking a darker turn. I like it. Well i am intrigued now so i'll have to keep reading it :)

Ok, finally reached a volume I didn't love. I'm also worried that a summer camp arc is coming up and I hope it's not predictable and/or boring. And why was it so easy to capture the Hero Killer? I thought for sure he'd last longer. 😕3.5 but I can't round up because I found parts of this slightly snooze-inducing. I might take a break and read something else for a bit and come back to this series later.

Another perfectly solid volume that dishes out some more backstory for a couple of characters. As a whole, it’s a slower book, but what story there was was still pretty exciting, and the ending was a tease, as usual.

We got lots of hints about things to come, like how things are going to go downtown and the Villain’s League/Association/Whatever-it’s-called is going to start wreaking havoc, so that’s going to be fun. This series has a good balance of hardcore high-stakes fights, humourous moments, and laid back scenes. Is so good. So very good. But I’m still mad about how the volume ended. So cruel. Another great installment in the series. I'm getting close to catching up to where the anime has reached for now. It'll be really interesting when I start reading stuff that I haven't seen before. Oh, and I absolutely love the random pages that have background on the characters or their outfits or behind the scenes details about the series. I just think it adds a rather cool element to the reading experience.Oh, and I read this as part of the Manga Madness Readathon.

Of the collected volumes, this is perhaps the best one yet. We see the end of the fight with Stain as well as the beginning of the one-on-one final exams. The art is gorgeous with Deku, Ida, and Todoroki finally fighting together against a common enemy with all their abilities on display. And then All Might punches Bakugo so hard that the latter throws up, so, you know, only good things.

~3.5/5The big battle with the Hero Killer concludes in this volume. It's an odd conclusion, at least for the Hero Killer, seeing where his mental state goes. Afterward, the group gets to see the aftermath of a public fight like that, the way the police have to balance things out. There's a small break, where everyone gets back in class and we see what some of the others had been up to. Then the next big test comes, and each student is paired up and gets to fight a teacher. It's interesting to see ~3.5/5The big battle with the Hero Killer concludes in this volume. I suppose we get to see a little more of Bakugo's past here, who he is as a person, but I still don't like him. Maybe he's supposed to be more sympathetic, but he's still a jerk. It'll be interesting to see if him and Midoriya can get passed that long enough to work together, though. This is a fun series, and I do hope to pick up the next one soon. I like seeing how everyone is growing up.A review copy was provided by the publisher, VIZ Media, for an honest review. Thank you so, so much![Read more at my blog, Geeky Reading!]

Buko No Hero Academia vol.7 finally , we can get a chance to see Midoriya mastering his powers and deals with it in a proper combat, with Iida and Todoroki at his side fighting The Hero Killer. 2) English Review If the author could finally leave it to constantly praise Bakugo and let him get away with it all. Not only does he let him say things like he's slicing Deku's throat and no one says anything, but he keeps praising him and claiming e.g. that Deku's jumps look like those of Bakugo, though that's neither true nor could be true as they both catapult themselves into the air in a different way. He also lets Eraserhead talk as if the hostility between Bakugo and Deku was somehow mutually conditional when Bakugo has apparently been mistreating Deku for years. If Deku had not stood up to him now and then, I would have even thought he had Stockholm syndromes. But the author seems to see it somehow different.Fortunately, the fight with the hero slayer, the deal with the police, and the kick-off to the new training at the academy were much better and of much better writing quality, so that this volume could still have 4 stars. Unfortunately, this only makes it clear that the author can do it right, if he only wants to. Therefore, he has no interest in Bakugo to let him go through difficult times and challenges, as he does with Shouto, Tenya and Deku constantly.

4/5 starsI own both an English and a French edition of this book, because when I bought a bundle of the first seven volumes, they sent me one in French and I couldn't be bothered to send them all back to get a replacement so I just bought another copy. I'm glad, thought, because Bakugou is my Bakuboy and I love him. This is such a good volume. I'm glad, thought, because Bakugou is my Bakuboy and I love him. This is such a good volume. We see the wrap up to the Hero Killer Stain Arc/Internship Arc, with a majority of the students returning to school changed in some way; there's some more development for Midoriya's power and All Might's history; we see all the kids studying, some attempting to cheat the system in some way (Kaminari and Mina), for their final exams; and then we get the start of the final exam arc, which only lasts a couple of chapters into volume 8. There's so much backstory and character development in this volume alone that it actually threw me through a loop. You can really see how each moment shapes these kids and solidifies their friendships. Midoriya isn't overpowered, his learning process is gradual and every fight he enters sees him leave a better person and fighter than when he went in, which is absolutely great. Not a single moment in this series has there been a fight for the sake of a fight, and I love that. Absolutely solid volume!

En fin, buena dosis de acción en este tomo.

As a fan of My Hero, I have to say this volume was very boring and slow. Due to the volume being mostly filler. My thought on manga is filler kills a series. keep the action up, But put small amounts of backstory into it. Keep the reader wanting to read more don't make them go to sleep or bore them to death I pray the next volume keeps the hype up or this maybe the end of me reading this series.

Holy. Crap, does a lot happen in this volume. From the awesome conclusion of the battle with Stain, to the conclusion of the students' internships, to exams, to some pretty heavy revelations about Midoriya's/All Might's powers, volume 7 is the densest installment of My Hero Academia we've had in quite some time. June 2017: 4 StarsWhat an interesting turn of events! I'm excited to see what happens next.I enjoyed the Hero Killer arc, especially Stain. He's an interesting character, and I hope he comes back. In a straightjacket, needless to say, but I'd like to see a scene with a conversation between him and the police guy who is friends with All Might or something.
