There is a huge mistake in the synopsis of this book.James was not happily married!Otherwise he wouldnt have lusted after his stepsons girlfriend. And Beth knew that she was playing with fire, when she confronted James and asked him, why he did not like her. She speculated on their mutual attraction and wanted him to react on it.Yes, both are not your typical nice characters! They lie and cheat and act totally selfish. But it was so suspenseful to read about their way headfirst into catastrophe, more gripping than some crime books I have read lately.Every minute I was anxiously awaiting James wife to walk in on them and curious to find out how they would walk out of this situation...And it´s true...I cannot say that I liked them at the beginning, but when their sexual obsession emerged into something deeper and both recognized that they were meant for each other, then it felt just like a real love story. And I did not care any longer how bumpy and rough their beginning was. Because honestly, the sex was totally worth it...;))

first of all, let me express my anger that I paid 2.99 for a 70 page book. and nowhere in the synopsis did it say this was a novella. it should be a law that when you pay over 99 cents, the buyer should be informed...then let me just say... SPOILERS AHEAD... they are having sex by page 5... no character development. I didn't even know why or how they were attracted to each other. I got this book off of a taboo list from a book blog that has never lead me in the wrong direction. I was looking for a book that was off the beaten path, so I knew this book was about a step father lusting after his step son's girlfriend. yes, I know...but, hey don't judge me...anyway, the story, the book, the characters, the cover, the sex, the exchanges of bodily fluids, was all DISGUSTING to me... I hate this book. the story had no point. the writing was juvenile, the dialogue felt choppy. jumping around. I do not recommend this book to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

His step son has started bringing his girlfriend home and they have been having noisy sex in his bedroom while James listens and pretends that its him causing her to scream in passion. She sneaks down stairs and makes a pass at James. James nails her good, but doesn't let her come. He tells her this is my turn, next time will be your turn. It takes three weeks for them to get the opportunity again and they make very good use of the time. This book is very erotic and an exciting read. Its well written with likable characters even if they don't always do the right thing. Definitely a 'hard to put down' book! I will be looking for more from this author.

As with all of Sotia's works that I have read, I enjoyed this novella. I've had it on my kindle for some time, but just never got around to reading it, today was the day. The story picks up some time after Beth and Mr Williams, her boyfriend's stepfather, first met. That's basically all the background we get leading up to the story. This is a story about now, not what came before.I went into reading this blind, so had no idea what to expect. I've never read a book about Cheating before!!This short story is about exactly that... cheating. It's hot, sexy, and depending on how you feel about cheating quite taboo, it is also a story of love and happy ever afters.James and Beth sizzle up the pages, they are hot together, and miserable apart. Sotia covers the feelings the pair have, their guilt, and their passion, their deep love for each other and feelings for their families.Great short story, loved it.... Passionately.

I will say this. If you don’t like cheating, dirty, kinky sex and roleplay, this won’t be your thing. For me, I loved it. The age difference between the characters is the first thing that struck me. He’s older, and he’s hot. Who could resist. The author leads you into a world where you can have what you want. The forbidden. The wrong. The morally corrupt. This is not a nice story. It’s the right amount of nasty and naughty and I couldn’t stop reading it. The characters are vivid and incredibly flawed as far as morals go. They are creatures led by lust first, selfish need and insecurity fuelling their desire for one another until their lives are consumed by it. You don’t want to feel sorry for someone who ruins his family over some pretty young thing, but I felt sorry for James. Lazu’s writing makes you want to hate him and then spins it around and makes you love him, makes you understand him. And I found myself excusing him and hoping he got the girl. Maybe this makes me a bad person :P Don’t get me wrong, there are cute moments amidst the emotional manipulation and sexual games and it made the relationship so much more real, to see this couple go through the extremes of their emotions and deal with the consequences of what they’ve done. Add into that, heap-loads of graphic sex and you have a tense, erotic story that you fly through.

This book was provided to me in return for an honest review.I need to start my review saying that I do not like unprotected interchange of bodily fluids without commitment or sexual cheating in all the cases that I have read. However, that qualification aside, this case is amusing, sensual and oh so HOT. The introduction is funny. Yes, this seven year itch is complicated with betrayal, torrid sexual descriptions and everything else you might want from an incest taboo story with a twist. Their daddy-daughter play is not incest, there is no genetic relationship at all. Just adultery between Beth, 19, and married sugar-step-daddy, 20 years older. Emotional breakups, divorce, partner changes, reconciliations, secrets, revenge, misunderstandings are all included in a complicated and humorous story thread. Sex, more sex than most rabbits, even some kinky bondage make this a delightful romp for your reading.

Passionate deals with Taboo subjects. What's more, the main characters are not nice. They let their desires rule them. They cheat and lie and don't really care about the feelings of others or the consequences, unless those directly affect them. And yet, I don’t care. The book is so well written that even though you know James is not a good guy, you still end up rooting for him and hoping he gets the girl. Just a quickie here (tee hee) but I can say that this book definitely lives up to its name! Not only in the sensual sex scenes but also in the way these characters interacted. Their every emotion and movement was filled with passion - be it rage or lust or jealousy or even desperate, hungry love. The way they interacted, the lengths they went to and at some moments, every breath they took was consumed by passion.More detailed review to come. Needless to say I enjoyed it immensely. I put the same review in my shelfari account:It's a nice hot book, I just wish the significant others didn't die. I wanna know how would they deal with it, the consequences they have to face. It's seems all very convenient, a happy ending. Didn't have conflict on the story, I wanna see them get caught!

Forbidden!!! Super HOTThis book started off like a cheesy porno....But about half way thru stuff got crazy!!!I was HOOKED right away with the whole forbidden thing.Even the calling James daddy thing didn't creep me out to much.It was a simple storyline. It worked with it. Just wish there was a bit more of a story.

This is a well-written compelling book and once I started it I could not put it down. It is a story of two imperfect people but perfect for each other. This is a book I would recommend and look forward to reading more books of this genre by this author.

The hero was oh so childish. His inability to take responsibility pissed me off. The heroine was just a doormat who reeked of desperation. So many places I kept thinking "she's had enough and will draw the line" but nope. It was well written but the content wasn't great.

Didn't want to like this book about cheating but I did. The two MCs were fleshed out, dimensional and like able. In the short story everyone else was one dimensional but at probably helped me get into the story, I could see and understand the love story.
