Ghosties is a fun, imaginative rhyming story about a typical day in the life of Ghosties in Ghostie Town. It's not at all scary, just a cute story perfect for the little ones! My almost 3 year old grandson, Jonathan, really enjoys this story and 'bobs' his head around in time with the rhyming/rhythm.

I still love children's picture books and look for them everywhere I go, especially for tutoring.  Hence my little computer mouse clicked on the link and then clicked in the buy button and I have in front of me, on my Kindle this lovely little book - Ghosties. So here I go.... I'm opening it on my Kindle and reading it now as I talk to you 🙊First page introduces us to the fact 'Halloween is in the air'  and they are on a bit a hunt to see a ghost.  The first picture looks good.  Not to much on t I still love children's picture books and look for them everywhere I go, especially for tutoring.  Hence my little computer mouse clicked on the link and then clicked in the buy button and I have in front of me, on my Kindle this lovely little book - Ghosties. So here I go.... Turing the page... We have a town. The next page grabs my interest more.  The picture is brilliant, the ghosts in Ghostie town look human, they are all in a rush.  I'm smiling now 😊Still turning pages... this is quite a simple quick little read.  It is very well done.  There a even cat ghosts and they all look so friendly and cute.  I really like the cleaning ghost!  The lazy ghost is kind of cute too.Okay I'm convinced.  I recommend this book, especially if your children are little.  I wish someone had given me a book like this when I was little and scared of the dark.  Yes I was once scared of the dark! There is even jokes in the back 😉.  Well done Gerald Hawksley the kids are going to enjoy this one.

"Ghosties" by Gerald Hawksley is a tale perfectly suited for kids to hear around Halloween, because it features a host of "Ghosties" who live in "Ghostie Town", and do ghostie things. One thing they do NOT do, however, is scare children. All the little ghosties in this story are fun-loving, friendly, and perfectly harmless.Little children will love this book. All the ghosts featured in the story are more likely to elicit giggles than gasps. Nothing scary here. You meet the quirky ghosts of Ghostie Town in this charming rhyming book with delightful illustrations on each page. You meet happy ghosts and grumpy ones, sleepy ones and bouncy ones, and even smelly ones. This will quickly become a favorite one you and your children will enjoy reading over and over again.I wish I’d had the print copy so I could enjoy the illustrations in color. They were so adorable.

This is a cute and simple book of verse which will appeal to younger children. A perfect and non threatening story about ghosts and the places that they might inhabit. I read the kindle version. The pictures were rather small, but the colors were bright and the facial expressions well drawn. This book is a good choice for a quick Halloween tale.

Me and K enjoyed the book but I would say this may be a read for the younger kids. Being as it is a silly book with plenty of rhyming. This illustrations went perfectly with each page and it was quite funny to read about the different ghosties you may account in ghost town. This is not a scary read so you don't have to worry about frightening children.
