This book was given to me by author for honest review! Joie, Riley and Lizzie have spent the summer touring with the band and facing down crazy stalkers, manipulative exes, terrorists and kidnapping government agents. Joie, Riley and Lizzie have spent the summer touring with the band and facing down crazy stalkers, manipulative exes, terrorists and kidnapping government agents. Now it's time to slow down a little bit but of course they can never get a break. Now they find themselves wondering how Lizzie of all people became the new tour bus driver? They have a wedding to plan, exotic diseases to overcome, an extremely overbearing future mother-in law to win over and a baby on the way. I enjoyed this book much more than the second. Time Out was just a little bit over the top for me. Reading the Wedding Blitz though, I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. This is just a fun book to read. As much as I love the relationship between Hawkins and Joie I really think it's the side characters that make the story for me.Lizzie is that one friend that drives you crazy with her antics but you know you can depend on to have your back. She is fierce when it comes to protecting those she loves and as shallow as she may seem you know down deep she is loyal. She'll always say what's on her mind even if it is completely inappropriate and that can lead to many moments of hilarity. Lizzie finally started up the bus and decided to move ahead because surely she would find the switch for the bus’s headlights eventually. Without saying a word, Riley gently pulled my shoulder back so I could rest securely in between his legs. Screech!!Riley and I quickly turned our heads in the direction of the sound of metal scraping against metal. “Whoo hoo!” Lizzie hooted, completely undeterred by the ominous sound. “I finally found the lights!”“Lizzie I think you scratched another bus,” I went to point in the general direction of where I had heard the sound. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I didn’t hear anything”“What kind of mentality is that?” I asked. “Lindsay Lohan’s,” Riley snickered Riley is the big brother that will walk through fire for Joie and now Hawkins. He wheres his heart on his sleeve and you can always depend on him even when you come up with stupid ideas he'll be right there with you. Riley reminds me of the saying:A good friend will come bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn, that was fun!"I absolutely love Hawkins although I can't help sometimes wish I could read the story from his POV as well. I would love to really know what he is thinking. All in all I really enjoyed The Wedding Blitz. This is a fun read and a great way to wrap up the series. This is a series that should be read by someone who is looking for pure entertainment and a sweet romance. There are so many funny moments and sweet ones as well.

They were all kind of forced and unnecessary. Was this 3rd book an epilogue of the 2nd one? It surely felt like an extension and not a a proper sequel with solid chapters. Also I think that the diary from the end was an easy way to cut the dialogue. Two pages with thoughts from "mom" and "dad" would've been enough for an emotional diary introduction! Regardless, I welcomed the extra information that came with it. I savored it with my mind - yummy :) (view spoiler)[Maybe I didn't pay attention but I don't remember if it was explained why Hawkins was the only one who didn't get the virus. I remember how the others got it but not him. (hide spoiler)]The name of band was mentioned just once. No songs, "a-blink-and-you-miss-it - concert", just the tour bus to remind us that a band is actually involved somehow...Overall - I didn't dislike it. I'm just a bit disappointed because I was very excited about this 3rd part. After I read and felt the enthusiasm in some reviews I expected to spend and dedicate a good part of my night reading it... Didn't go as planned! I guess it is just me and my absurd high expectations. *** I'm not dismissing it. I'll just view this last installment as an epilogue. For me this series has 2 books and I'm content with it. That's why I'm rating it with 3 stars.

It doesn't help that Hawkins' mom seems to dislike Joie, or that there are so many other things going on in their lives. And being who they are, things can only get crazier... My Thoughts: I loved that we got to see so much more of Riley in this installment! All the characters are pretty awesome, but Riley was one I wanted to see more of in the last two books, so I'm glad it happened in this one (as well as the little mini plot with Rob). Warren was hilarious, and Lizzie as well. I thought I might need a refresher when it came to the last two books, but Leah did an awesome job of reminding everyone what happened in the other installments and keeping us up to date without making it sound like a long-winded summary. Hawkins is still as adorable as ever. Can someone find me one like him? Please? I'll pay you in cookies and Doctor Who puns. Hawkins' and Joie's relationship is still going strong, and you can really feel the love between the two characters. *cue Lion King song*And the ending. It was so cute! Definitely the perfect way to end the series. Final Summary: I loved this series! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance and just an overall sweet story.

I've loved "Foolish Games" soo much and I was so happy when I saw that there will be a 2nd & 3rd book! I'll always love this series. It will forever be in my memory. I got a surprise email from Leah Spiegel here on Goodreads asking if I would like to read a copy of the FOOLISH GAMES book 3. I loved the first book, the second book was okay, but the third book was fantastic. It's a great ending to a wonderful love story. Joie and JT are perfect together. Riley and Rob go through their ups and downs, but it ends on a wonderful note for those two. With something I never, ever saw coming. Lizzie and Warren were annoyingly perfect as usual. I love the Foolish Games series, and I think my favorite part about it (besides JT Hawkins, obvs!) is the wonderful, wacky cast of characters. They have all been through a lot over the course of the summer while travelling together on tour with the Grimms Brothers Band. There have been kidnappings, bomb threats, terrorists, deaths. So I was really glad that as the band's tour came to a close, so did all the craziness. Especially now that Joie is pregnant. In The Wedding Blitz, the crew are in the Seattle area for their last gig and Joie finally meets Hawkins' parents. His dad is warm and receptive of Joie but Mama Hawkins immediately does not approve. I felt really bad for Joie; she's pregnant and emotional and they haven't even told their parents yet about the baby. Hawkins tells her to give her time, his mom will come around. Even though she annoyed me that she didn't even give Joie a chance before discounting her, I could kind of understand where she was coming from. (It also made me aware that I do not want to be that kind of mother in-law in the future!) I liked that Hawkins stood by Joie and defended her from his mom, and still believed that Mama Hawkins would come to her senses in regards to the woman he loves. As with the previous books, this story isn't without a few twists and surprises. Riley, the self appointed wedding planner, sets up the perfect wedding day and gets his own surprise. Riley is one of my favorite characters. He's always been so supportive and protective of Joie, and it was great to see his happy ending. I've also grown to like Lizzie (I couldn't stand her in the first book, to be honest). She doesn't make excuses for her behavior, she is who she is- which is sort of selfish and self-absorbed but she does love her friends and when it comes down to it, she's got their backs. I think she does grow up a little bit too, without losing her Lizzie-ness :PThe one thing I wasn't happy about Time Out was that there was not enough JT Hawkins. You can't blame me, though, right? I fell for this guy as Joie did, as those layers of jerk peeled off and we saw the real Hawkins. And in this final book I get exactly what I want: lots of Joie and Hawkins. In spite of all that they go through, they truly love one another and when they are together, it's like nothing else exists in the world but them. Oh, and the proposal! Without spoiling too much, I thought it was very fitting where he proposed to her. ;) I especially love the baby letters at the end of the book, which wraps up the story and gives us an extra peek into their lives and the lives of the rest of the gang. I thought this was a gratifying conclusion to this entertaining series, lots of sweet moments with a happy ending for all :) I look forward to revisiting these books again in the future. I will end this review with photos of the main cast as I pictured them. Enjoy :)Malese Jow as Joie: She's beautiful and she has a girl next door look to her. Blake Lively as Lizzie: Joshua Bowman as Riley: and Jared Leto as JT Hawkins: I know, he's a little older (age-wise), but he has the whole Hawkins blue eyed rocker look down.

**copy of book provided by author for an honest review**Reading this book was bittersweet for me. On one hand, I was happy to finally being reading more of Joie, Lizzie and Riley's story. On the other hand i was sad to see it all come to an end. But I can say this, oh what an end it was! Who knew that a decision to follow a band around all summer while they toured the US would change each of their lives? They have survived so much (kidnapping, bombs..you know your typical rock band tour stuff!). **copy of book provided by author for an honest review**Reading this book was bittersweet for me. Who knew that a decision to follow a band around all summer while they toured the US would change each of their lives? They have survived so much (kidnapping, bombs..you know your typical rock band tour stuff!). And at the same time they have each grown so much individually.Joie meets Hawkins and despite a shaky start, they fall in love. Now they are talking forever. Joie only has to overcome one hurdle...Hawkins' mom! She gives Joie a hard time from the start and it only gets worse when Hawkins ask her for his grandmother's ring. He knows that Joie is the one and wants to propose to her with that ring as he feels it is the only one that will do. Will Joie be able to win over his mom? Will Hawkins propose despite not having the ring? Will they get their happily ever after? And poor Riley. As if coming out was not hard enough, he goes and falls head over heels for Harlow (someone who has not taken the same leap as him in the coming out department). All Harlow has to offer Riley is a secret relationship. But after a drunken comment made by Warren, Harlow shuts down even that little bit he was willing to give Riley. Needless to say Riley is devastated. Will Harlow finally decide Riley is worth making that leap? Lastly, we have Lizzie. She was a great support for both Joie and Riley in typical Lizzie fashion. She also was there for Warren, who is still struggling with the grief of his sister's death. She helps pick him up and pull through the rough times. I honestly could not imagine this series without Lizzie in it. She was the light in the darkness for everyone. So what is next for Lizzie?Oh how I loved this book! As typical with the Foolish Games series, we got our little twist and turns. I like that they were more subdued in this book though. And it was refreshing to think I knew what was going to happen but being pleasantly surprised with something else entirely. I think the best part of the book for me was the diary entries at the end. They were such a unbelievablely sweet touch and ended the series for me with a big smile on my face and a tear in my eye!Thank you Leah and Megan for sharing the story of Joie, Hawkins, Riley, Harlow, Lizzie and Warren with us!!

I have loved this series from the beginning and was NOT disappointed with the end. It was great to see the growth and evolution of J.T, Joie, Lizzie, Warren, Riley and Rob.This story starts off basically where the second one ends. Of course Joie and her terrible luck comes knocking on her door once more leaving the gang in a tizzy. The beauty of J.T and Joie even gets more inspiring. When you were reading it you were lead to believe that it might be a predictable plot but NOPE quite the twists and turns were thrown in and the big one which I can't reveal without spoiling it was beautiful. In the end you even love Lizzie and see all her flaws now as a part of her character in a good way and Riley has always been dear to my heart so his strength and love for Joie shines in this book. You want nothing but the best for him.In this book I went through all my emotions but I think my favorite part are the letters. They are great and you get a real look into the heart of Joie and J.T. This series was finished amazingly well with no loose ends just beauty and love. I loved it and I recommend this series to all. I do have to admit though I am sad to see the end of J.T, Joie and the gang hopefully Leah and Megan will create another fantastic series to fill the void ;) 5 Heartfelt Thumbs up!

Riley and Harlow are having trouble in paradise but when Riley is in his death dead things change for Harlow and it made me so happy for Riley he deserves all the happiness in the world..The whole series is worth reading it not just about the hanging out with rock stars it about friendship and loyalties and finding your self after you graduate from high school... So many of us go to college right after high school and think it is the correct thing to do (for some it is)because thats what we're supposed to do or told to do.... Later on regret the choices we make... Thanks for the book leah..

The subplot between Riley and Rob was fantastic. I never expected the outcome. Joie's constant changing of the baby's name is hysterical and they were all boy names!! Finally to end the books with those sweet letters was perfect. The letters wrapped up all of the storylines and did not leave you wondering about the future of the characters.

I loved Lizzie in this book the most out of all them. I as always loved Riley and Harlow. Warren was awesome too. It was great character development. Being the final book in the series it ended perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to this series. The writing was wonderful and the cover is beautiful! Will miss these characters but I can't wait to see what Leah and Megan come up with next! They are a great writing dou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed the first book of the series because Josephine was a strong character, she stood by what she believed and her friends and didnt care that J.D. was the singer of a famous band. This last book is so, so disappointing. Shes 18, got pregnant after, I dont know, 2 months in a relationship (didnt she hear of anticonceptional methods, nor he?) and is very satisfied in being a mother and a spouse of a rich man. She was in doubt in what she would be, which carrer to choose, now she had to deal I enjoyed the first book of the series because Josephine was a strong character, she stood by what she believed and her friends and didn´t care that J.D. was the singer of a famous band. There are many more fulfilling roles for women in 21st century. And they had mere months of a relationship! Sorry, this fate is not a fairy tale anymore, maybe in the Forties.

Oh man! This was such a good ending for this series. I was so happy to find out there was going to be a third book. I was not disappointed at all. At one point I was like oh no it's happening all over again but that was resolved pretty fast so that made me happy. This book just made me so happy. I'm really going to miss Hawkins and Joie and am sad it's over but I'm happy with the way it ended. I will recommend this series to all my friends. I agree with some of the other reviews that have been posted. This book seemed more like an epilogue than a full length novel. The only real conflict lasted about three chapters midway through and then everything was all hunky dory until the end. I also really missed the "Rock Star" aspect that was so prevalent in the first part of the series. I loved Hawkins in the first two books because he was chock-full of witty comebacks, brooding stares and heartfelt serenades mid-concert. That is what drew me to the series in the first place and it was almost non-existant here. Without it, the story fell extremely flat for me.

This book had an incredible ending. Thank you for doing the letters it was so much more of an experience than what others have done. I like the little surprises within the book that take the reader off guard. I would so recommend the series because the journey was so worth it and the final chapter just made the series as a whole.

I would have given a 5 star rating except for the fact that I felt the ending was too rushed. Up until that point it was definitely 5 stars - so maybe it deserves 4.5 stars. Hoping for a continuation of all of the couples stories... then I wouldn't feel short-changed. **Hint Hint** Love the series!

A bit ridiculous but don't we all love a bit of romantic slush every once in a while?Just a massive ball of slush with a happy ending.(Also, how many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors were there in this?! I don't think champagne needs to be captialised every time it is mentioned, and isn't spelt like champaign - I kid you not...)Oh well.

Very good read for the first half but then the story dragged a bit until bam at 75% the was a shock twist that I wasn't expecting. And then the last 15% dragged again. I didn't really like the diary bit at the end, I would have fathered the story format to continue as it was. However overall a good read, I would read again and recommend!

I am so sad this series is over. Hawkins is one of my favorite book boyfriends! The book is fun and sweet and made me cry at the end. Leah did an awesome job with all 3 books and I will miss and love Hawkins forever. The wedding is the most romantic thing ever. They truly are all the best of friends!!! Thank you Leah! :)

I started crying at the entries of the baby diary, like how Hawkins says "Love Dad," and Joie says "Love mum" it's so heart felt. And I was disappointed that it ended with the diary entries I would of loved to see the experience they went through as they took care of the poor kid.
