Murder and mayhem continue in this volume. We see more action from Arita-Kun's group. It will be interesting to see how the reunion goes between Arita and his old friend Akira in the next volume!

The group around Akira find a cave which is filled with other, extinct species. Unfortunately the group becomes seperated and now they are trying to find each other. The series is pretty solid til now, im excited on how the story continues.

If you've read my previous review, then you know that I had some issues with the idea of a group of adults blindly following a young girl. (Or maybe you raised an eyebrow at that as well?) In any case, they do deal with this in volume four, and I'm glad for it. It's rounded up a little swiftly, but that's because there's a bigger issue at hand here: Arita Kouhei. It's rounded up a little swiftly, but that's because there's a bigger issue at hand here: Arita Kouhei. Yes, we have our teams meeting up for the first time since the crash and the scattering of all of the teenagers. Obviously I can't divulge everything here, but Kouhei's group has taken a rather nasty and bloody turn for the worst. It's actually a rather interesting turn of events, as it helps set up a bigger overlying arc for the series and hints at what the potential for insanity is. Art-wise, I'll admit that I'm getting tired of the fanservice. It's still the type of fanservice where it's worked into the story well, but the thing is... it doesn't need it. The girls are cute enough and the story is good enough that it just sort of feels superfluous. Anywho, the artwork is still pretty nice and I love the attention to detail. It's part of why this series works so well. If you've been liking the previous volumes, you'll enjoy this one as well.

I really have nothing to say. If Lord of the Flies is your kind of story, then maybe you would like this, but it just is not my kind of story.

I really could use less deaths & cruel stupidity here.
